1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SNL had a skit where they said the Devil invented Bitcoin on: October 28, 2021, 11:02:17 PM
On the News skit on SNL this weekend they had 'the Devil' on as he was taking credit for many things he said he invented Bitcoin, alongside a bunch of bad stuff.

Amazing in 2021 a joke like that can be made. Shows you just how early we still are when SNL thinks saying Bitcoin is evil will ring true with people.

Not ranting, just like how at a trillion dollars we still get common reminders that we're still in the early days of Bitcoin's growth and acceptance.
I have heard about a lot of people who want to be a satoshi and they have crazy thoughts that they are him, but they don't have any proof to own satoshi wallet we all know satoshi have a private BTC wallet with a large amount of BTC and if those people say they are satoshi then as long as they can use that wallet we will believe that they are the Satoshi of all of us.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 28, 2021, 10:36:40 PM
Nowadays we need to be careful when publicly admitting to owning Bitcoin. A lot of crypto traders have been receiving threats as in the case of Daniel one of the guys from Chart Champions.

Things are escalating as, apparently, a 14-year-old kid from England got kidnapped after bragging on social media posts about having lots of money made from trading cryptocurrencies.

That's why I don't like anyone to know I'm in the Crypto business.
Sounds too dangerous for all of us so i don't want anyone to know i am a crypto player and have a decent amount of money from playing it my mom always told me she told i should not post on social networking sites to let many people know we have a lot of money because this is very easy to be taken advantage of or people with bad intentions will find us like a child's condition 14 years old is very dangerous now. I hope the innocent boy will be released and safe from the kidnappers.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: October 28, 2021, 10:03:15 PM
We saw the past from $10 to 60k is going up and up. So it sure it will reach $500k next destination.
But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
Do people really still think it goes to 0?

There soulnd't be any sale presure given the history that we see Bitcoin only going up in value
The people who think BTC will go to zero are really stupid people they don't take the time to learn about the technology but only hear about bad or good news these are probably just newcomers to this market and I think this is very easy to be manipulated by whales . If you are a professional investor , you will have a cold and insensitive mind before the volatile market is not easily influenced or dominated by anyone and especially understanding and belief . You believe in BTC will increase 100k$ then one thing is for sure you will never dump it.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks either adapt or face death on: October 27, 2021, 11:29:06 PM
The digital age brought our lives to a second universe - The internet. Ever since the internet set sail Banks had to adapt and present new services and options to their users. However, the digital also brought us digital money and financial freedom. Cryptocurrency is here to stay and is bound to disrupt the way we manage and relate with our money. Banks will need to adapt or they face certain death. While some Banks and financial institutions have been historically fighting cryptocurrency others have already understood the need to adapt to stay ahead of the curve as in the case of some Spanish Banks. Nevertheless, this is still a new technology and Governments with its old fashion regulation as well as their Central Banks are yet to implement adequate regulation and are still a bi hindrance for cryptos to go mainstream.

Luckily, things are changing rapidly and mainstream adoption may come sooner than we think. Do you guys think, this will happen within this decade or not?
I think the bank is still important, the bank will not die even if we use BTC to pay salaries, transfer payments for cross-border transactions, eventually it has to be converted to fiat currency, because So BTC and banks can only exist continuously and in parallel. On the bank side, I think they will definitely have currency changes soon to be able to adapt to the new changes in the current era of cryptocurrency technology. Chances are they won't use BTC as their currency but instead they will launch a banking cryptocurrency that keeps up with the times and the main purpose remains to also manage our taxes.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advice: 1 BTC on: October 27, 2021, 11:09:42 PM
This might be more personal as well confidential to we all, but if you're to share your thoughts or advice one on how to spend he's/her 1btc what would that be ?
Estate management ?
More in Bitcoin ?
Investment in the Stock market ?
Maybe your ideas might or will be helpful.
You don't need to seek advice or invest in 1 BTC, you will invest in several investments instead of posting this looking for advice and this is not a good idea. because there will be a lot of mixed opinions that will confuse you and There may be scammers taking advantage of these tricks, they will promise you huge profits and you will get if you use them. use 1 BTC to buy their coins, be careful and learn to invest in this market with your own judgment and decision.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new meme coins on: October 27, 2021, 10:38:11 PM
Reflection, Burn and swap is very common in new meme coins nowadays, almost all new tokens are meme coin judging from new listed coins on coinmarketcap, I'm just trying to warn newbies who believed that they can still make insane profits from meme coins, I'm not saying it's impossible I'm just saying we have many fake meme coins out there now, they are just copying the likes of shiba inu and few others
For me, many male market participants, memes are hype coins that develop in a very crazy exaggerated way that we can hardly predict. So what you warn is essential. It seems that some people take advantage of this to sell worthless coins and promise huge profits to those who invest in it. I never rejected meme all zero Special value 2 Shib Inu coins and Doge is one of the 2 most successful meme coins in 2021.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is burning coins good on: October 26, 2021, 11:21:38 PM
Recently, many projects have announced the burning of coins, but not everyone understands what this means.

This is a process by which cryptocurrency miners or developers get rid of a certain amount of tokens by sending them to addresses that are not accessible to anyone. The burning of coins is being implemented not because of the low viability of the project, but rather because of the desire of the creators of cryptocurrencies for great prospects.

Thus, the developers are trying to reduce the total number of available coins, while the created shortage affects the growth of their value.

The burning of coins can talk about the upcoming expansion of the project and a possible increase in its value. For example, after the recent announcement of a collaboration between Polygon and Newscrypto, the latter announced that they decided to burn $ 10M worth of NWC tokens this year. Consequently, in the near future, we can see a significant growth of NWC price on this news. What do you think about burning coins? Does this really affect the market value of the coins?
I see current projects with a value they offer of 1 trillion will burn 50% after selling 50% and they will burn that 50% when they sell the coins they sell first. looks like this is some form of inflated value that will be inflated to hit some investors. Because they always think that if there is a plan to burn those coins in the future, the coin price will definitely increase significantly. This approach is also one of the marketing tactics of the project that makes investors happy because every time the coin disappears from circulation, the value increases, this is the way of many works and projects. this doesn't surprise me because these are the ways many projects are using these days.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: October 26, 2021, 11:01:43 PM
Each holder will definitely have their own interests, but the true holder will definitely be stronger to plant crypto in a long time. So if we want to cuan, have to save coins for a long time. If you agree or disagree, please give me good feedback. thanks
I completely agree with you on this, holding money for the long term is a good investment, however that is not entirely accurate nor can it be guaranteed that it will be good on all coins, if you know how to choose a good coin and clear the platform and future development plan then surely what you are saying is true but otherwise you keep it for a while and then the coin stops growing . it dies and the value drops to 0 then I think it's wrong for you to be sure of this. With this daily volatile market we can't be certain of anything and I think you're holding out high hopes for some altcoins.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: October 26, 2021, 10:34:21 PM
As far as I know the increase in Shib is due to community hype and it is a meme coin that has been hyped in the short term. I do not deny that some memes will thrive in the future for example. like Doge basically all coins can go up and down in this volatile market but if want to make safe profit and less risk i think we should invest to buy BTC , ETH or BNB . this is just some of my advice whether you buy it or not is your decision. Grin Grin Grin
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can XRP Achieve $5? on: October 25, 2021, 11:34:36 PM
In the current cryptocurrency market, XRP is one of the most popular coins. Its popularity is increasing at a rapid rate on a daily basis. Its price is now low, but I believe it will rise in the near future. In the foreseeable future, I predict XRP will reach $5. You can invest in XRP if you wish to. If you invest in XRP, you will gain.
In my opinion, 5$ xrp is not achievable in the future based on my own judgment alone. Possibly, 3-4$ could happen, but i know that whatever xrp is facing right now, to make a new ATH xrp needs to settle all past lawsuits , this got so bad that xrp's market couldn't bounce back. Better news and long time is needed for xrp price to recover again.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in the tokens of the Solana ecosystem on: October 25, 2021, 11:27:05 PM
I see There are a lot of communities talking about the solona project. as well as a number of projects built with the development ecosystem in mind. What is happening now, the price growth is unusual this month. and I don't think at first their holders will not expect the SOL project to grow so quickly and so strongly, so investing in Solona's ecosystem is a very potential project and I am sure in the future. In the future, it will not be inferior to other ecosystems such as MATIC (polygon), BSC, ETHÖ.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Treasuries on: October 21, 2021, 11:17:24 PM
I think it's a good idea for companies to buy bitcoin to invest excess cash. But the opposite sounds a bit risky from my point of view. If a company issues treasury as a form of funding, it means that they will receive bitcoins today and have to repay them at a future date. what will happen at the end of this year No. How much BTC do they hold , I feel curious and wait for this until the end of the year of BTC treasury.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: What are common arguments for Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2021, 10:32:45 PM
What should new investors know about Bitcoin?
BTC is a non-holdable digital currency that is risky, extremely volatile, and can even lead to capital loss if investors are not looking for information. It is important for investors to know the situation of cryptocurrencies in their country before deciding to invest and withdraw some money. But many of those who are entering the market for the first time are still expect bitcoin to grow like previous years and give them a life change. profits, and while it is clear that bitcoin will still increase in value, we cannot determine what BTC will one day look like.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: October 21, 2021, 10:16:39 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if itís a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
To trade successfully, the first thing you need to do is have trading skills and know which cryptocurrency to use to trade. But it is not always possible to make a profit from trading cryptocurrencies, as the market often behaves in an unpredictable way. As for holding only BTC, we have found that this is one of the best solutions that I can rate as low risk and most profitable in the future for you.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: A tale of the two parasites on: October 21, 2021, 10:06:22 PM
I agree with you on this . both are parasitic , the rich are worse off because they know they can contribute enough to help , instead they make it worse than by creating social unrest. If you want to get rid of the parasite of wealth, you should first nullify private ownership of property/land, as every land owner has can earn rent and live forever on passive rent income but all of them are people with high status in society.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all time high record | $66,000 on: October 20, 2021, 04:09:24 PM
A new all-time high record has been hit, with Bitcoin surpassing $66.000. An outstanding performance which was a result of the announcement of Bitcoin ETF approval, which I've yet to understand what exactly it is.

Definition according to https://mg.co.za/

"An Exchange Traded Fund or ETF is a type of investment fund that tracks the price of another asset or basket of assets and can be traded on an exchange. If that still sounds like finance nerd language to you, thatís because it is."

https://mg.co.za/special-reports/2021-10-19-a-bitcoin-etf-what-does-it-all-mean/

Anyway, it was something quite unexpected and didn't actually believe that we'll see a new record by at least December. Let time do the work.
Great, this is great news BTC has reached a new ATH of 66k, this is the expectation of many investors and I believe BTC will continue to make new ATH in the near future. Today is the day I'm glad I've been holding BTC for a while, now it's time to enjoy my waiting and patience. I believe BTC will reach 100k$ value soon in the near future.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Volatile Gwei Gas Fees help! on: October 19, 2021, 10:51:32 PM
Its like every 10 secs the fees are so volatile according to:

https://ethgasstation.info/index.php?curr=gbp

I sent coins to exchange at 'standard less than 5 mins' fee at 105 Gwei which was recommended at the time on the site above. After like 20 secs later I refreshed that site and now the same fee has gone up to 132 gwei  Shocked

Now I see on the Etherscan global transaction explorer that it will take 11hrs still Pending status for confirmation wth  Angry

When I choose gwei when sending, ok after that I take a few mins to double check deposit address to make sure you know what I mean before I click on the final submit send coins button. During those few mins the gwei fee can change right meaning the recommended fee shown at the site above can now be outdated and too slow now correct if gwei fees gone up during that time meaning instead of 5mins I gotta wait 11hrs now?

Every time I trade I always open a lot of pages to track current Gwei gas like https://etherscan.io/gastracker is one of my favorite sites, gas fees are volatile and quite high compared to what we expect so it becomes more and more difficult to execute the transaction. Many times I transacted to adjust the gas fee as required but only after 5s the gas fee changed this makes me always confused Gwei it changes very fast and my transaction is done by manual operation very slow , hope that ETH 2.0 comes out will make gas fees more stable and fees lower than today.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: October 19, 2021, 10:21:08 PM
We all know that long term investment in Bitcoin is reasonable but how reasonable do you think long term investment in Altcoins is?
I think long-term investment in Altcoins is full of risks but short time investment is more profitable. Do you agree with me?
Any investment is risky and especially investing in the cryptocurrency market you always have to be ready to risk that at any moment your invested money will be evaporated and you may lose everything. After one night, you should divide your account into many aspects so that you can invest in many places, so you shouldn't focus 100% of your investment on one altcoin.
A little opinion about the individual altcoin should only invest in the short term and if the long term you should choose BTC is always the first choice of investors today although it is also risky, but in terms of risk BTC can % lower than many other atlcoins.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find high APY (staking)? on: October 18, 2021, 11:24:49 PM
You will have many choices to farm efficiently and profitably as the coin pair AXS / BNB currently receiving 50% BNB is also a pretty good choice for you to bet, not only that. Near coin is also one of the staking coins that many people choose and hold today, like Near coin, I also used this coin to be able to staking and earn quite a profit for me. attracted a lot of attention and is seen as the next potential in the future.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Erc20 tokens send fee on: October 18, 2021, 11:04:59 PM
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I want to know if there is some way to send erc20 tokens with low fee.
Current gas fee is very high particularly if one has to send too many transactions. Please if someone know any other way to send erc20 tokens with less fee, share with me and I will appreciate it.
ETH fees are very high nowadays and if we have a coin for 10$ it will definitely not be possible to transfer that coin for 30$. I checked gas fees are very expensive nowadays and that makes it very difficult for me to transfer money to the exchange. I hope the launch of ETH 2.0 will help reduce the current fees, otherwise we will all have a hard time using the erc-20 network.
