Bittrex ad and delist on a weekly whim is pretty much the dumbest shortsighted strategy I've seen in an exchange. More supports short term pump n dump, start a new rinse and repeat then adding any longterm value to a real decent coins.
That may be true, but I have no reason to believe that Bittrex will delist HYPER in the near or far future. When they continue to see HYPER progress and gain market volume, they'll keep it listed. The flaw in your plan is that you will pay the developers in HYPER to make the game. Do you have any idea what it takes to make a video game like this? Its going to cost you about a million dollars in salaries and take over a year to complete. Who in their right mind would take a worthless coin as payment on the assumption that it may be worth something in the future? I think the crypto world needs to be much more evolved before anything like this is possible. Maybe in 10 years something like this will work but not right now. Chances are its a complete lie and a scam to get hype and increase value. Thing is, we don't fall for that anymore. That is why everyone automatically calls it a shitcoin or scamcoin. The first Alpha will be a simple browser based game where players can build their empire and interact with other players. We have realistic goals, over 10 team members already, and we are finalizing the details of our MMO development roadmap as we speak (with a timeline for dev goals such as: finalizing game engine details, finalizing game mechanics, finalizing adding new features which are required to game engine, finalizing the launch of the simple alpha). I don't think they have anything to hide (just my opinion). I think they're most likely busy and working on it.
Exchanges like BTC-e ad Vircurex have no public information whatsoever and have been around for ages.
I still think scam exchanges are a huge problem and when Sharexcoin went down it was a very sad day for a lot of people.

The potential of ideas will soar. You can't imagine the good and diverse ideas can be gathered with a distributed project. But not only programmers, anyone is welcome and necessary because they can come up with very different ideas, approaches, imagination, creativity....... Sorry for my English. That is exactly my idea foro! Anyone can join in and is welcome. They will earn HYPER based on their contributions. We currently have artists, authors, sound designers and more on the team! People can do as much or as little as they want to / have the time for. This game engine looks perfect for the first incarnation of HYPER (the Alpha) as a browser based MMO with a consistent game world. Includes resource management, empire building, trading and more: http://levelup-games.eu/products/mmo-game-engine.phpWe could easily use this as a framework to build the first HYPER space based MMO / empire building game and integrate HYPER as a resource into the game! The cost of purchasing the framework can be covered with the 500 000 HYPER MMO Development fund. That would be a good start. I hope the engine has the capability for a couple of the features that were mentioned like global market and player to player contracts for resources. The description did not mention anything like that but hopefully those things could be built in manually. Also mentioned was using real planets and star systems as a map which is a really interesting idea. It would be nice to incorporate many actual images of Mars as plenty of those out there, including a 1.3 billion pixel image. A good mix would be to use real data/images where possible and in the cases where no image is available use the artwork from Gladimor. To get started our solar system could be used and as it evolves expand beyond to more distant locations......but all using real data for planets/moons/solar systems/galaxies etc. We should be able to build on top of the resource gathering / resource management features offered in the engine. I too would love to use as many real life photos and images as we can (many space images are in the public domain). There are also full open source space games like Orbiter, and I'm not 100% sure but we may be able to use content such as models, textures and images from that too. Using real star maps will happen - everyone has supported this idea here, on the HYPER forum and in irc I think the solar system might be too small to start (unless the Alpha is just for testing and then we reset the MMO for the full launch) as it doesn't give much room for players to expand! The above engine isn't final, it just looks like it fits many of our requirements. After we have the new site up we will be putting together official MMO Development roadmap. |

Important updates: Multipool: We have an operator who should have a multipool up within 24 - 48 hours. Hopefully it will be 24 hours It means anyone will be able to mine HYPER with SHA 256, Scrypt and X11 algorithms It should also help the HYPER exchange rate continue to rise on the exchanges. MMO Development Fund Escrow: I am still looking for someone to escrow the 500 000 HYPER MMO Development Fund to help bring some more credibility to our project in these early days. Major escrows like Bittrex, Anon 136 and Tomato Cage have refused as they are too busy / don't want to leave the wallet open for staking. I have now contacted Escrow.ms who is a very reputable escrow and I am hoping to hear back from him asap. New Website and HYPER Arcade: The new HYPER website, which will include our MMO Development Roadmap, and the HYPER online arcade should be up by the weekend 150 K HYPER Marketing Fund: leptoon has put loads of work into HYPER from day 1 (he is redesigning the HYPER website, working on the HYPER arcade and will be a sound designer in the MMO), and he is now managing this fund. I don't want to be responsible for all the funds (big responsibility) so this is the first step in having all the transparent HYPER funds spread out and managed by different people. Bittrex is currently down due to a problem with Microsoft Azure (which seems to be a big outage). The Bittrex team are staying up all night to make sure the exchange goes up again smoothly as soon as Microsoft resolves the issues. So don't panic! |

You should try to get in touch with Entropia Universe devs Good idea. I have approached the devs of novus-aeterno to see if they would like to incorporate HYPER as an in game currency If we keep at it I am sure we will get someone receptive to the idea. Great work Karasugoi. Keep it up!
