Space 4X games focus on empire building, researching technologies, interacting with other players etc. An MMO is a consistent game world with hundreds or thousands of players. A 4X MMO is a combination of these: a consistent universe with hundreds of players building their empires, trading, interacting and exploring the universe. This is our current vision but we are still working out the details.

Here's some of the best ideas we've had so far:

- Use real star systems / planets so players can "own" real planets and systems. Perhaps add in more planets to populate the universe more but star systems can be 100% based on current star maps.

- Different technologies, planets and races can produce different resources which are then traded with other players and can also be traded for HYPER which will be the premium game currency.

- Have research like plasma thrusters which enable ships to move faster etc. Have a research and tech tree like any classic space 4X game

- Players can perhaps start in a spaceship. Perhaps their planet has been destroyed by some kind of disaster. They are seeking new worlds to explore and to rebuild civilization. Much like Homeworld the old classic PC game.

Gladimor is producing amazing concept art, and a good friend of mine is designing many alien races that will be playable in the game.

The 500 000 K HYPER MMO development fund may well end up in the hands of a reputable escrow if the community demands it. Still waiting to hear back from a few people including Poloniex. This leaves 386 000 HYPER left for critical bounties like a multipool and giveaways, to get HYPER back into the stratosphere. At a later date, any HYPER left over from bounties, will be rolled back into the other funds.

There is a lot of exciting news in the pipeline regarding HYPER, and I'll post a bigger update tomorrow

Great, I've contacted busoni and I'm now going to finish setting up the temporary wallet for the 500 000 HYPER MMO dev fund now.

Thanks for the idea Cohle. I'm setting up a new wallet now to hold the 500 000 HYPER MMO dev fund temporarily, until the escrow issue can be resolved. I will update the thread when this is done. Then all 3 main HYPER funds will have been set up entirely transparent and ready to fund HYPER's projects, while we work on finding a highly regarded escrow such as Polo.

A lot of people seem to be missing a lot of points about HYPER, as I haven't had a chance to solidify the OP yet.

We will need a section for progress and updates on the space MMO too, and for the different funds we have running for the different HYPER projects

I can offer a HYPER bounty for the images obviously

No huge HYPER sell orders until we have BIG BTC daily volume on the exchanges

I'll probably move up the price slowly - buying up small sell orders and moving a nice big buy wall up to offer buy support I'll aim to lessen the spread so the buy orders meet the sell orders (which happens eventually naturally when volume is high enough).

I'll keep records so when volume is higher, I will make sure I always sell for a profit. Sell orders will be small and strategic so as not to stifle HYPER's upward trend

I don't want to be selling any HYPER on the exchange too soon - so the initial purchased HYPER will probably roll back into one of the other funds for staking until the time is right to earn some more BTC from it for further buy support... When the market is more stable. If I do sell some earlier, it will be spread out up the order book so I don't contribute to any nasty sell walls.

Depending on how much BTC is raised (also I don't want to sell too much of the remaining 386 000 HYPER), I might place some buy supports at key levels such as 3000 sats, 4000 sats, 25 000 sats etc.

Well I'm glad one person is behind the idea of an IPO. It will be a good way to raise some initial BTC for the market fund.

I'm open to any feedback on the IPO idea here - if we go ahead initially 60 000 HYPER will be offered at market rate. Enabling investors to buy up large amounts without having to buy up the order book.

Thanks for the support leptoon. Having the 500 000 MMO development fund in the hands of a reputable escrow would probably be a good move though, in terms of HYPER gaining support in the wider crypto community sooner.

I'm looking into some other legal options, whereby the fund can be maintained by someone who is under a contract of some kind.

I was even considering asking Bittrex?

To be honest it's a big responsibility for me to manage all 3 funds, so I've started warming to the idea of having someone else manage it.
