21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Your Country Who Gamble More? Young Ones or Elderly Ones on: April 29, 2024, 10:23:31 PM
We need the numbers. A proper study on this, something big. It seems like everyone assumes its the young crowd because, hey, they're always on their phones. But sometimes we forget theres a whole world of traditional gambling the older generations are still plugged into. Without that data, we dont have a leg to stand on. This isnt just idle curiosity either. A big survey like this can tell us how things are changing, what groups might need help down the line. We cant have smart policies or meaningful support programs without knowing the real scope of the issue.
I don't think it based on assumptions that most people believe that the younger people gamble more than the older ones, it os not lie because if you visit most of the physical casinos this days you see that majority of the players in there are all young people who still have the energy and zeal to take all the struggle that comes along with Gambling.

Although as you said the need for proper research and analysis of this, to know in reality who gamble more between old people and young ones it very necessary for that so that we can easily discard some of the assumptions as you rightly presumed.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MemeCoins Fuel the Next Crypto Craze? on: April 29, 2024, 09:28:27 PM
Let's be real, while lacking fundamentals, meme coins provide the speculation and hype that attracts newcomers to crypto.
Yes, memes are doing just that and they're doing it conveniently well. We know that people like where there's hype. That's how memes survive – with hype and noise. We can see how the Bitcoin chain has also been used to create memes. It's a record that for the first time, Bitcoin ecosystem is able to embrace something else that's not Bitcoin. Smart projects don't want to miss out on the trending meme hype. That's why they're creating BRC20 tokens to draw attention to the ecosystem and also make money from them. People should pay attention to Runes and other BRC20 tokens this bull run. I'm of the opinion that these tokens will print money for those who will invest early enough.
Most of the times, despite the fact that memecoin haven’t made that debut market entry and impact where the price benchmark can reflect on the general crypto-currency market but we have to acknowledge the possibility of the hype created around memecoins to be a major driving force for the meme market of there manage to control the space and time will and building a good visibility for the project's.

But my advice on a general notes is that, we should nit trust so much on memecoins since their lack the foundation and plans that can sustain them on long term base.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are more people getting excited about memecoins? on: April 29, 2024, 09:16:33 PM
when the bull run was around four years ago, memecoin was very hyped, the developers saw the same potential for it to be repeated during the current bull run, the developers saw how the oldest memecoin was always the one that gave big profits to its holders, so that was like a signal that many Cryptocurrency lovers will also enter meme coin to make big profits again during a bull run like this
You made a good point there that the older memecoins were able to pick up with the just ended bull run because of their already established market that help them to easily pick along with the wave at that moment,  but the big deal is that most of the newer memecoin were finding it hard to fine a place in the market and before their know it the short bull movement got stopped along the way making them to fail to pick along.

This is the reasoning why .any investors thought that memecoins are not doing well in the current market since their failed to make some progress in the bull run that just ended and being the first bull market since the memecoins got their hype And market appearance.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you win? on: April 29, 2024, 05:01:29 PM
In as much as I win I also lose most times, and winning or losing can nit be anticipated or predicted since it based on luck and nothing else.

But much more often, win almost every time I gamble and also I lose as the same time, so there is no set aside days for winning or losing it can happen at anytime.
25  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sport Dictation Free trial !! on: April 28, 2024, 11:22:13 PM
The bigger question is, have anyone been able to actually try this service and recorded any success rate, because from what I have observed it look so untrustworthy to promote such third party betting platform reason is that, none of such platform have ever been able to give such service and proved winning  rate through that service.

Most of us already know how betting works and for that we won't be in any convincing position when such betting service is being mentioned.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: April 27, 2024, 09:40:44 PM
For a casinos to survive in the current market trends and demand, their must have to acquire license and that comes with a mandate to keep up to date with regulatory requirements such as kyc and the rest of the other demands that comes along with the licence.

And any casino that doesn't have such licence stand the risk of getting shutdown by government at the end of the day due to violation of law.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: April 26, 2024, 07:06:46 PM
I think and believe that the strength of bitcoin is in satoshi identity and his silence os what have given bitcoin all it current values and position in the cryptocurrency Industry today,  so sure his hidden identity have helped the entire bitcoin ecosystem.

Nonetheless satoshi is just anonymous and since his development have not hurt anyone negatively the government won't be on the look out for satoshi.

29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beyond Wagering on: April 26, 2024, 08:23:53 AM
What are some of the hobbies that you have picked up as a result of your long term gambling but that doesn't involve gambling? If you are an avid gambling who is not addicted that is you have control over your gambling you may have caught yourself unconsciously being attracted to so other activities within the sphere of gambling that doesn't involve wagering. As for me one of such hobbies /pastime is being active in a forum like this where there are gambling enthusiasts. I enjoy joining in the discussions that go on here, I also enjoy sharing tips and reading the experiences of other people with similar interests in gambling.

I have always loved mathematics and betting has refreshed my interest in it. When I calculate the odds of outcomes in games and various tricky combinations of how to place a bet, sometimes I have to return to the mathematical section of probability theory and remember how to do the calculations correctly. In general, now even if I don’t need it in a practical sense, I like to watch various videos on YouTube about mathematical paradoxes or unsolved problems, it’s actually very exciting.
I haven't really paid much attention to other sections on the casinos before or on gambling sites that offers external services such like forum for gamblers discussion or sections where gamblers can make odds calculations or some other mathematical practices,  but sure I understand what both of you guys have posted but since I haven't experience any of them before I won't be able to give accuracy of information so for that I have to go along with you guys but asking a little questions.

How can someone who bearly have time to gamble develop that time to use other features within the casinos as mentioned by both of your guys.
30  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria’s central bank forced to deny claims of crypto account freeze on: April 26, 2024, 06:47:12 AM
Edited out
For Naija, anything can be faked at any time, so yes you are correct with that statement of even social media handles and even newspapers outlet to be subject or tools for fake news, but none the less it is easy to avoid being feed with those fake news such that you only follow the verified handles of the agency and not just any handles bearing such agency's name, do the later will definitely lead you into subscribing to fake handles.

Although it is also easy for a ready to verify a news if you can check it out on one or two platforms before believing them as real, such that if you read a news on pounce,  it be better to follow-up such news details on sun news paper or even on TV, Nigerians with fake news peddling na 5/6 so we all have to be careful what we feed out minds with.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: April 25, 2024, 11:45:59 PM
We're still facing the high transaction fees again, and it seems like it's something that we have to get used to that it must happen periodically when the mempool is congested, so every Bitcoin holder should have a plan b when it occurs. In your own case as you're doing DCA method, I think that it's best if you can be disciplined and hold your weekly earnings for a period of one month before sending it, to minimize the amount of the fees, since you'll pay about the same fees if you're sending it weekly. It's not advisable to leave your coins in the exchange and relax.
As long as bitcoin exists,  there will always be a situation like this and also note that this is not going to stop anytime soon, and bitcoin have to be aimed at a long term views this way you can easily avoid draining your entire money on fees.

But then we have to wait to see things settled along the way, and also be prepared to any future challenges that may come up I the future.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beyond Wagering on: April 25, 2024, 08:47:16 PM
When you talk about gamblers perception towards games and what they feel about them when not gambling or not directly involved,  then you have to pick gambling like sport bets because since most games in sport bet doesn't require gambler participation so it easy to become a fan of the team of players that are playing the games without being involved.

E.g, those that bet of sport,  and have being fans of football games will easily watch the match without betting on them.

Luno
Gr8t e make sense luna na one of the best crypto exchange and having long term track records,  so their rate seems to be among the most preferred by crypto-currency traders or for any research or statistics works that relates with BTC value in ₦.

34  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria board sprint on: April 25, 2024, 05:47:03 PM

Which are the most used exchanges in Nigeria,  to buy bitcoin?
Thanks.
Well right now with the current situation of things, the Nigeria cryptocurrency space is gradually sliding into full time p2p, since the possibility of the government to further climb down  on cryptocurrency exchange in the country is high, but right now we still have all the active centralized exchanges that used to operate except for Binance that have halt their p2p services.

Okex
Kucoin
Bybits
Remitano
Luno
Etc

Do let me know if you need further existence on the price of Bitcoin on the above mentioned exchange in naira,  if needed for your feedbacks.

In addition that we have several p2p platforms and sites and even physical deals, but you have to bear risks associated I you decide to go that way as a bitcoin buyer or seller.
35  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria’s central bank forced to deny claims of crypto account freeze on: April 25, 2024, 05:37:05 PM
First of all when it comes to issues with cryptocurrency CBN os always carful reasons being that, their don't want their incompetency to be exposed through attempt to attack cryptocurrency in Nigeria,  so best thing still their just play a deaf ear to it whenever cryptocurrency oz mentioned.

Secondly,  don't read social media news, ever since I stopped their notifications on my device,  I become more peaceful,  because blogs and social media posts are almost 100% fake news and all attempt to raise unnecessary attention to their blogs and websites,  so alot of fake news.

Is either you follow the official handle of the various government agencies to get updates directly or watch news this are the two ways to get real and authentic news this days.

I use to ask myself how Nigerian got to this level, that fake news can cyculate easily,  but then, we have to be sincere with ourselves,  Bitcoin, Gold and other assets are not attacked but only USDT that is the main target of the sec, this events is giving us alot of reasons to do more reseaand discus alot of thing as regards to cryptocurrency a d the current events in the Nigeria financial sectors.

37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does your Sig-Camp Manager counts gambling posts that moved to off topic on: April 23, 2024, 10:11:59 PM
Most campaign managers don't count off topic posts and if you make any comments on a post and it get moved to the off topic board it means that comments have become invalid for payment,  unless some campaign that pays spammers such as when 1xbit campaign was around they pay basically everything since they aim was to spam the forum.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: April 23, 2024, 04:22:24 PM
When we say luck in gambling what it means is that in gambling is either you win or you lose regardless of your skills and expertise in playing the game, so since it very hard to win agios the house,  whenever a gambler make that winning he will attribute it to luck.

Luck per say is not skills but just an unexpected and uninflunced winning.

40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they on: April 22, 2024, 08:22:10 PM
The biggest mistakes I have noticed in beginners is the thought that gambling is a get rich quick schemes and taking the third party route as in getting bets that are called sure odds to bet on hoping to win big jackpot with those sure  perceived sure odds.

Gambling is based on luck and nothing more and there is no sure game any where so beginners should stop having the thought that their can lay hold of a sure bet that make them win.
