So whats next for neos? What new?
I started working on v2 just about right after the public release of v1. A few things I can make mention of that are changing: 1. Our logo's gotten a little makeover 2. We have a designer now working on the wallet interface for v2 to make things easier to move around in and more intuitive. 3. I'm coding a new streamlined setup process that's web-based to make it easier for folks to install and configure as well as customize the installation more. You'll be able to modify a bunch of parameters like where the web wallet is stored, customize the RPC port, rpc user, rpc pass, etc. 4. We're adding in so far: c-cex and potentially coin-swap into our trading system. Any other exchanges that you'd like to see Neos on, please voice it to them and we'll include them in the v2 update. 5. Some function improvements such as the way addresses are retrieved from the wallet to include them all, address labeling, managing both receiving AND sending addresses in the new interface. 6. We'll be adding in aliasing. You'll be able to register aliases and send by alias rather than by address. For example you can send 10 NEOS to Jimmy instead of N2nDj4j09GjplNCJAKj3U3u322 7. Block and connection information displayed on the dash 8. Encryption lock/unlock functions 9. Wallet backup from within the interface 10. Market cap data on the dash 11. IRC through tor in the wallet 12. key import/export functionality That's a short list, but there's plenty in the works. v1 was expedited, so we couldn't really cram all of this in there in the time we had to get it out to you guys - but that's what post-launch time is for. =) Best regards, syntaks Wow! I use this forum a lot of a daily basis. Can we keep this one open, please? just keep open! Well I think it's best to just use both as this forum can be a bit "unstable" but is still necessary. It's good to have both and try to maximize them. Soon enough neoscoin will find all the right people looking for an amazing coin and honest community so in time a migration may just happen naturally. Just in case everyone forgets remember when neos gets its first price spike we will start getting hit with fud. Just be ready to put them in their place with facts and we will do fine. As a community we need to rally around and protect coins like this so they last for a long time. For those who are just now seeing this coin...This is the one you've been looking for. No scams AND miles ahead of other coins from the start. Oh and it's backed by multiple exchanges and vouched for by them as well. Including other devs and their teams. |

Don't forget the PHP wallet front end will accommodate a fully decentralized market (hookers, blow, and guns) And we can do any number of sports betting, we could incorporate flash based games using Neoscoin for currency. We could make it so we offer contracts on the blockchain...Neoscoin has the makings to be anything and do anything we want and have a dev that can probably handle 90% of what we throw at him. All will be well in this coins future soon enough stay strong people this is a long term coin.
That's the ticket! Those people will be the early adopters. And since hookers and drug dealers use each other's product, there will be an actual economy started, not just used as a proxy for fiat. But you have to be somewhat careful with that or it will turn off legitimate business. Remember Egold years and years ago? It was so strongly associated with the child porn business that even drug dealers were disgusted with it. Gambling/gaming services will be big winners, because those are things that are illegal but not morally offensive to most people in the Western world, and extremely popular in China. Sounds like it would be as flexible as Ethereum and NXT, just completely open. Yes and this is exactly why when the rest of the world wakes up Neoscoin will be in such demand it's going to be a wild ride. Oh and we just hit the first page at bittrex again |

What's the next "big" thing that'll set neos apart beside Arbitrush?
I can't believe people are dumping at a loss...
I just finished typing a long reply which I accidentally deleted  this was the essence: 1. anon solutions are all that matters now… 2. arbitrush uses the same off-the-blockchain model which is currently driving BTCD prices nuts 3. id like to see neoscoin focus on anon solutions 4. future versions of airbitrush should be more decentralized and TNO (trust no one) 5. airbitrush should be vetted by a trusted 3rd party those dumpers are just trying to drive price down btw  Don't forget the PHP wallet front end will accommodate a fully decentralized market (hookers, blow, and guns) And we can do any number of sports betting, we could incorporate flash based games using Neoscoin for currency. What blows my mind is this. Who sits there and looks at this thread and says, well this one doesn't look too great, I better sell for a loss before I lose anymore?
Who could look at what is going on with this coin, and dev, and think ANYHTING bad about it? It's just mindblowing how stupid people are!!
Couldn't agree more and if I had more btc I'd buy more but I have a rule to never invest more than 7 btc into a single coin and I'm at my max with Neoscoin. Anyway the best I can say is I won't sell for less than .001 so if that makes me a bag holder then add so be it. Also when the decentralized market opens I have some good stuff to sell on it |

Yeah, it would but those aren't real numbers. I had posted about it and discussed it in a screencast that those wouldn't show up this release. The reason being our own pools aren't up yet and that's where those numbers would pull from. We just have SHA up right now. It's in the works though! Please stop suggesting this, and maybe find yourself a pump-and-dump and enjoy the marginal profits. Sincerely, syntaks +10000 Marketing alone is costly, it's one thing to use some funds to buy your own coin but would defeat the whole purpose to just place buy walls let the coin/devs speak for themselves. |
