261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ban Donald Trump on: December 11, 2015, 02:22:04 PM
Donald Trump is a real joke and to be honest not a genuine contender in winning. I really do not think he has any chance of winning.

He should not be banned as it is better to have things in the open where people can challenge him publicly. Some of the things he has come out with about muslim's or women for example is quite ridiculous. He really is more of an entertainer and self promoter than a real contender. Anyway i am pretty sure the American people will make the right choice and just ignore him.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 11, 2015, 02:17:05 PM
I would invest in both. Maybe 60% in gold and 40% in bitcoin.

Gold is still incredibly respected by most people in the world. It is relatively stable and has a long history and reputation. Bitcoin is still in the beginning stages and is not very old.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 11, 2015, 02:14:33 PM
I would say it is important to do both and save as well as invest it.

The best option would say save 40% as savings for a rainy day.

The other 60% should be invested in a diverse range of investments.

Things such as property or real estate are good. As well as stocks and Gold. Safer investments such as Government Bonds are also good to have in your portfolio. You should also have some funds in alternative investments such as Bitcoin as they have a chance to give very good returns.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: December 11, 2015, 02:09:37 PM
There are several ways of earning money with Bitcoins.

I thinks the best ways are probably the following; Lending, Buying undervalued assets and then developing them to later resell, such as websites, Signature Campaigns, Trading possibly if you have access to a large amount of capital.

I also think ways of not earning a good amount would probably be things such as HYIP, Faucets which are low earning, and especially Gambling such as dice, casino etc.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2015, 02:07:12 PM
I think Bitcoin has many advantages over fiat or normal currencies such as the USD and Payment companies such as Paypal.

Advantages:

= Very low fee to send and receive cash - much cheaper than Paypal or Western Union or SWIFT or TT Payments internationally.
= Decentralized and not really controlled by major governments or finance companies
= Quite Anonymous - You do not have to give all your information to a company to send money.

Disadvantages:

= Takes around 10 minutes for the first confirmation - so the payment is not instant.
= Price Volatility - The price of Bitcoins is much more unstable than say USD. Hopefully this will be more stable
= Unknown - Still not accepted by major companies and there needs to be much more marketing to promote Bitcoin.

These are the things that i can think of for the reasons why Bitcoin may or may not be used.

Is there anything else that you think can be added to advantages or disadvantages?

266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 11, 2015, 01:58:40 PM
I think for now Paypal is clearly better. It is more well know by people as well as being accepted by millions of people or websites. Paypal may have some issues such as charge backs and fraud as well as them freezing accounts, BUT as they are much more established they still are pretty good.

In terms of bitcoins and other alternative coins, they still have a long way to go, non technical members of the public still need time to understand the benefits of bitcoin over Paypal, such as very low fees and being non reversible. Hopefully this will improve over time and become more respected.

268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from the new 🌟🌟MoneyPot🌟🌟 staff on: December 03, 2015, 10:36:59 PM
I knew that there was sale going on for the MoneyPot in the background somewhere but I did not follow it directly. Someone can tell me why original owners of the MP sold their service?
I thought MoneyPot was pretty successful project and this 'sale' is surprising for me.

This should help you: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1249919.0

It seems the new team has good plans to expand and make the site even better. Ranlo been here long time too so this is good. Plus larger bankroll should help the whales.

Hey, BB! I wanted to point out something I think would be a great asset to BB's future. Take a look at Bitvest and how their betting works. I messed with it a bit and I just love the features in terms of betting itself (like launching x at once). The main thing I want to point your attention to, though, is that...

Let's say you have 32 mBTC and you set up an auto-drop for 32 "chips" and hit "max." It will automatically divide your balance (32) by chips (32) and fill in 0.001 BTC. Let's say that then drops down to 16 and you do the same thing, it would fill in your bet as 0.0005. I absolutely LOVE this as it lets you easily adjust your bets without any real thought.

Right now our main focus is on the upcoming bonus feature, this is a neat idea though, and perhaps possible after current work is finished.

How far from new bonus feature you mention BB? I am excited for this to see what is.

We hope to launch the new features and bonus by Dec. 20th if all goes according to planning.

There will be at least a 24 hour delay on cashback/affiliates and the raffle drawing until one of our devs returns to work our apologies in advance for the inconvenience, the payments and winners will be drawn up their return.

Why is it that there are always 24 hours delay since 2-3 weeks ago? Dont you as admin have access as well to the system or only dev has that? If your dev decided to not come back then you cant do this business if you rely too much on him

See the reply I just posted. I've had a ton of crap explode into my personal life over the past 2 months; it's been rough and really forced me to divert my focus from the site to other stuff. Hopefully things are now smoothing out again ...

Crap happened but the site must go on. Dont take me wrong but this is just my thoughts about this. It feels like the site is abandoned with no more development. You guys surely dont want to turn into diggit.io 2.0, a great site but abandoned by the dev as well

Abandoned may be a strong word at least during the dev away time bjorn spent weeks promotion for wager warz and bunch of new things. No comparison to diggit or other sites for that matter bb is still biggest casino of 2015. Almost 30k btc wagered in 6 months is a huge reason most of us invested.

DIggit has few kbtc wagered in few days and in a month the site has grown very popular. Suddenly everything change since the dev abandoned the site. Im speculating of course however Im foreseeing things are going into that direction cmiiw

If you look at the thread in the few months our developer was away it was still active, new features and coding are great but, marketing is key as well. Despite minimum participation I think we came up with some great new things to try that no one else has done (Wager WARZ, wagering comps, social horse games). We've given back to players 15,600 USD worth of Bitcoin rakeback (44.43BTC and its more like 60 BTC if you count tips). All this in the past 6 months since launching our bonus programs so even giving players more incentive to play here than other sites. One player was correct this market is flooded with sites and the amount of players is far less than people seem to think. Personally, before creating BetterBets, I had a perception the Bitcoin player base was much larger as well. This industry hasn't left infancy stage yet in terms of player adoption.

We are still here and despite a drop in volume we are moving forward and creating things we think people will enjoy and be rewarded for their past betting soon. Come give us a try at https://betterbets.io and players may realize there's many reasons to add us to one of your favorites.

Maybe should have just given away a couple btc in the form of 0.01 like pd does alot cheaper and they seem packed with players idk how many are real but hey maybe it will create some bb fan boys just keep the rake for whales maybe

honestly I wish less "gamblers" were investors. It causes them not to gamble on any sites they're invested in, which in this case means every moneypot app. How much money will anyone make in a market where there really aren't a ton of gamblers if everyone is invested and not gambling? I mean we still got faucet babies right lmao.

Good point I think part of the issue too is there are more sites than gamblers. When I first saw this forum all the signature campaign people give the appearance we all gamblers but after playing on many sites that is not the case. I never understood using faucets if you want to gamble then you need to spend money to make anything worthwhile.

274  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.eu | Largest Bitcoin Betting Site | Sports ✔ Dice ✔ BJ ✔ Poker on: November 21, 2015, 04:24:15 AM
Sports betting adds dice that's an odd way to dilute your niche.
275  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💩 ShitDice - The WORST Bitcoin dicing site around. 💩 on: November 20, 2015, 10:24:27 PM
This parody of dice games is just amusing to say the least. I think I've seen some posts that people actually thought it was for real and wanted to join. But since last I been in this thread those posts were deleted. Just the name alone should give it away but I don't think translators can translate sarcasm.

One would think 'shit' is multilingual Wink

U people are under the impression this industry is a huge money maker. Here's a news flash it's not..... there are more sites than players welcome to reality compared to simple business like e-cigg vapor shops casino profits are laughable.
280  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |Secure & Trusted|Weekly Rake+VIP|DICE★PLINKO★HORSE RACING on: November 14, 2015, 07:06:54 PM
With all the bonuses and take a this casino offers why are players still playing sites like PD? I dont get it. PD only offers a higher faucet and affiliate bonuses. Betterbets has a crap faucet sure but if you're a mid size to high roller betterbets is the place to play.

20% of hose edge rake back 15% affiliate commission raffles I mean really c'mon.

I never understood this either people afraid of making extra btc from betting. Maybe players hate bonuses lol
