Marketcap is so low, we'll see 500k satoshi in a few weeks  Wink

The whole market is in a search for reliable and skilled Devs. So... it could be possible. Maybe the next BTCD. But for now: Too few know about it.

Our best thing as a community we can do is help spread the word and keep contacting exchanges like bter.com and btc38 etc. Maybe a talented Redditor can work with Syntaks to gt a nice reddit up as well just in case it becomes popular.

I think, the next steps in case of exchanges would be Mintpal, Cryptsy, Poloniex. But I think, most of them will add NEOS besides Voting-Lists, if the Volume keeps up this way.

Great is: Time is working often against Crypto-Projects. But I think, this is one of only a few Coins where Time is a friend. Because it just needs Time, that more and more People will recognize that there are not just great promises, but also a great and trustworthy and transparent acting Dev-Team.

Need China Tempus Smiley need bter/btc38 trust me. The three you mentioned aren't bad but still largely US based which bittrex has a stranglehold on right now.

Well I can say this much, the bugs from v1 are stomped on.  Sending Neos to "Jimmy" instead of "NjAn3nDjjphytDTyWijjNZAA" is also complete.  Address book with labels is done.  3 of a list of 45 things. =)  Once 2 more deals are finalized I'll be letting everyone in on them also =)  Pretty big stuff and we're really excited.

     Regards,

The Neos Team

Sounds great neos is still very undervalued but we will get there keep up the good work. Nice coinsource article btw, going to have 7 out of 7 rating at the end of the month Smiley

Apparently when you tell neoscoin supporters to HODL they take that shit seriously,  well played everyone.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET IPO - conducted by Poloniex on: August 30, 2014, 02:08:49 PM
Hi can you explain in much more detail how anyone outside of who controls the funds raised would benefit financially from this?

Quote
Hence the Supernetwork IPO. It will use the funds raised to privately purchase coins prior to public announcement of their acceptance into the Supernetwork, also for some after market support and maybe even market making to provide liquidity. I will capitalize it with my personal holdings of the assets that are benefiting from the Supernetwork, sharkfund0, InstantDEX, NXTprivacy, Privatebet, Tradebots (aka NXTcoinsco).
The value of the holdings will grow as long as the coins that are purchased gain in value. This will be reflected in the market price. It would probably be good to have some sort of realtime indicator of what the value of all the holdings are, then this can be used for people to be trading around the value.

Owners of SuperNET will be getting dividends from its click revenues.

Each asset represents a proportional share of SuperNET. SuperNET has BTC + NXT + BTCD + coins, then the services which will be at least InstantDEX, Teleport, Tradebots and Privatebet.

Also I will only own the percentage of SuperNET proprotional to my contribution of the InstantDEX, NXTprivacy, NXTcoinsco and Privatebet and the ownership of these assets will generate the base revenue for SuperNET. When more services are added then the click auction will generate more revenues. The details for the monetization are things that can be fine tuned to maximize the usage and this is only achieved with experimentation.

Now the revenues from SuperNET (clicks and dividends) will be distributed, half to owners of the asset and the other half to various parties, eg. BTCD stakers, coin communities, people running nodes, etc.

I only talk about direct money flow here, there could of course be a rising tide to lift all boats if SuperNET succeeds enough to start helping BTC prices by pulling in significant amounts of fiat, but this is cake in the sky, so we will ignore it for such a skeptical person such as you.

James

Thank you, and yes in crypto you have to be somewhat skeptical but your elaboration was what I was looking for.

Devs can we put in - wallet advertising/ads and use any money it generates to buy up neos and then use the neos for bounties/giveaways.  I think now and especially in the future advertising in crypto will become more mainstream and will surely be a source of income.  We could do ads like coinmarketcap.com does and possibly do well.

The money generated would also offset some miner dumping (even though it's hard to mine) as well.

So folks the question now is:

What would you like to see on the dashboard in v2?  What would be most useful to you?  I'd rather ask than assume.  v1 was somewhat of a proof of concept to display the possibilities.  Now it's a matter of tailoring your coin, for you.  If you tell me what you'd like to see, you'll get it.

     Best regards,

syntaks

OK  I know I'm going to get some hate for asking this but could we get a universal trading bot built into the wallet that can be easily configured. Something a new trader could use with advanced features added for veterans.  Please and thanks!
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: nWoCrypto is a scammer, NWO is a scam! on: August 30, 2014, 02:50:29 AM
I can tell some of you are either sock puppets for other exchanges or just really stupid. Here is a thread you may have missed where the nwo devs explained what happened, even they said it wasn't c-cex's fault. So if you still keep saying it, you are a not credible and a total opposing exchange sock puppet. Looks like they found a new dev and will be putting up a new thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=761830.0

If you have minimum brain you know the mess is caused by the greedy scammer who tries to get all the ICO for himself. And with such a scammer, he is "verified" by C-Cex, and C-Cex does not anything for the scam? C-cex needs to restore people's confidence, by stop the scams there, and let everyone know who is this scammer, so he will not cheat more people in the future.

Lol yeah it's the exchanges fault, not the devs the devs ran away with the funds but we should blame the exchange because? Well just because! right?

Hey buddy syntaks ..
sometimes you sleep? when I look in here, you always here....Or you are a bot? XD

He doesn't sleep much and last time he woke up with indented forehead of the keyboard...

so we have a hard working dev.

Yes you could definitely say that, I have spoke with him for hours over the past week he is extremely dedicated unlike anything I've seen since early work of rat4, Evan, and only those of the highest quality developers. I have invested more not just because of the coin but because of this dev team. This is why we are all so crazy about Neos...crypto needed this coin/team to redeem itself of the past 4 months of horrible scams.

Neoscoin, it's the coin we've been waiting for.

How can I open the new NEOS interface?
The wallet, I've compiled, looks like the wallet of any other coins...

Which version did you download?  Each one there's a "readme-first" included.  Did you follow those steps?  Let me know we'll get you all situated.

     Best regards,

syntaks

Is there a problem if I were to run the normal looking wallet?

Not at all it's purely based on your choice, use either or.

The good news is, the anon is just a nice thing to have for those who need it and isn't mandatory. The fact that neos has so much to offer and the continued development of these devs is the biggest advantage.

Each transaction uses a unique address also, every time.

This right here is actually key to true anon in conjunction to Arbitrush, thanks again for this amazing creation. This coin is a phenom.

Whats the status for the difficulty adjustment update? SHA have not found a block now in the last 40 blocks and is kicked up to 46.000.000 in difficulty.
Current situation is bad for all miners no matter what algo they mine.
Long term im not to worried about SHA getting "stuck"(skyhigh diffuclty, no -/+ adjustment on new blocks, after a while miners abandon) but there is a larger risk that Blake or X11 suffers that fate.

the miners i've talked to over the past day are making literally 25x what they were making mining other coins by mining neos right now... so are you just doing something wrong?

mining what am i supposed to do wrong!? Calculate my shares with pen and paper!?

if that makes you happy

Guys chillax, this is first world miner problems and it will get resolved even though this is just a little adjustment really aka a quality of life tweak.... Neos devs working on it.

Chris001 just posted a very big truth if you are not a good trader and fall for newbie fud posts then read his last post and memorize it. He's basically mapping out what will happen to Neoscoin in the next 2 months as it climbs to the moon.  Hold your coins, there is a bunch of neat things planned in this coins future and you will need neos to gain access to them.

Edit: to answer the last comment, whales will sell at a huge personal loss to get new traders to sell no matter what it takes. Simply put, they will scare the shit out of new traders.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NEOS]Neoscoin Unique Anon(Arbitrush) Multi-Algo/Multi Exchange Web Wallet! on: August 29, 2014, 10:58:36 AM
James (jl777) from btcd has stated that arbitrush with neos is vulnerable to police raids seing as its centralized. A shame really, perhaps newer version of arbitrush would be decentralized
Please do not misinterpret what I say and then turn it into a definitive statement.
Maybe I was not clear as it has been very hectic few days, but I said that I could not find out the server topology, probably because I didnt look in the right place for the info. I guessed that maybe it is distributed, which is nothing at all like centralized. This is like saying multiply redundant is the same as single point of failure. So big change. I also said that a decentralized system would have vulnerabilities, but remember I said I was not sure about the topology, so this is a conditional.

So, I hope this is clear. I am not knowing of the actual server topology.
I made a guess that it is distributed
Then a general statement that distributed servers have a possible vulnerability. It is actually possible to create a distributed server topology that is not vulnerable to seizure and also possible to do it wrong.

So, conjecture + possibility + my lack of knowlege -> misquoting -> I apologize for any confusion this caused. I know the last thing that any coin needs is some seemingly credible statement that has the "c" word in it.

James

No issues here we are big supporters of both your project and Neoscoin as they both bring similar awesome into the crypto scene. Arbitrush is new so of course there's going to be labels and preconceived notions of how it works.  Thanks for stopping by though good on you Smiley
