2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is ZERO Evidence That 9554 Bitcoin Were Seized From ISIS by Hacktivists. on: November 23, 2015, 06:17:37 AM
Maybe not, and facts are needed...but in the mean time this does help keep Bitcoin in a slightly better light than "currency of ISIS" talk (which we all know is bullshit).

The media is a funny thing, a hunch or light suggestion can change popular opinion.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: How much Coca Cola can you buy with 1 Bitcoin in your country? on: November 23, 2015, 06:13:40 AM
This is clever, like the Big Mac Index produced in economics to illustrate pricing parity across Nations.

Didn't these retail for BTC0.15 in today's BTC price?

This is the weirdest auction - everyone (except one person) is bidding in increments 20 times the minimum increment. Why are you all so eager to pay more than you have to? I guess it's a good way to see the true market price find it's role in the transaction.

Good luck.
5  Economy / Auctions / Re: Hero Member Auction - Starting from 0.01 BTC on: November 23, 2015, 06:04:22 AM
Trust: Neutral, none.

And how should we interpret your trust level, given that we'd be buying this from you?

Care to explain?
6  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Reminder, if you sell something for BTC, sign up a deal for Bitcoin Black Friday on: November 23, 2015, 06:02:37 AM
Yeah I'm repping the signature campaign for the same ! Also this is going to be massive considering the amount and hard work they have put in terms of advertisement and promotion .Really eager to shop some nice deals hoping the servers won't crash !

I wonder what kind of volume the site is going to generate? Do you know if this is the first year they're doing it?

It would be great to know how much bitcoin was spent on these retailers along with how much bitcoin was saved due to all the deals. I hope a lot of people show up...the signature campaign is doing a great job keeping this in front of everyone (and it's paying well too!)
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] Coke Cap codes on: November 23, 2015, 05:53:08 AM
Pictures or they don't exist.

What can one buy with these Coke codes - can i buy anything for as few as 300 of them?

Where did you get these codes?

Will escrow be used for payment?

Thanks.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When can I start selling my signature on: November 23, 2015, 05:41:26 AM
You can get as active as you want in the forum from what I can see.  There are signature compaigns you need to have certain ratings in order to be involve in, but you can be as active as you want in the mean time.  The more research you do, the more you will know and the better prepped you will be to make it worth wile in selling your signature.

It's ironic that this post today is what brought this old thread back from early September...and this person (number2) has no signature campaign participation but at least 20 people have since posted about this old, retired thread as a result.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When can I start selling my signature on: November 23, 2015, 05:38:44 AM
Just wondering how active do i need to get involved in the forum?

You can start at Newbie.

But I've noticed you haven't posted much since the OP, you need to keep posting if you want to rank up and earn better rates.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For beginners just a defination of what is bitcoin. on: November 23, 2015, 05:34:36 AM
BitCoin used in the online world is a new Exchange type Casino chips.

Yeah, because we want people new to bitcoin to think that these are "casino chips"...

What a really, really bad explanation of bitcoin, let alone very awkwardly written. By the way, it's spelled "definition", not "defination".
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a blockchain that links one or more blockchains? on: November 23, 2015, 05:31:48 AM
Why would we want to combine the hashing power of all cyrptocoin mining? What's the benefit? The miners would end up having to work more individually to get paid, no?

Is there any other real world example of why linking blockchains would make sense?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is a watershed moment in bitcoin history on: November 23, 2015, 05:29:58 AM
Even if Bitcoin goes to 0 or close to it, it won't happens overnight, so you will have plenty of time to jump off the boat or adapt to the new situation.

And he is not the only one speaking against BTC while BTC grows bigger and bigger

The real question is whether you or I or anyone would recognize that the decline was the end rather than just a pull back and opportunity to buy more at a cheaper price. It's tough when you're in the moment, emotion will take hold and impact decision making.

It's best to know at what point you'd sell out - $200? $100? $50? At what point do you sell all? It's an easy question to answer it's a tough to follow through on.
13  Economy / Services / Re: Earn 0.001 btc for Signup & Write a Review on: November 23, 2015, 04:42:05 AM
Anyone getting paid yet?

To the OP, what are you getting paid for our referrals and the review write-ups? Obviously you're getting more than BTC0.001...it's fair for us to know what your take of our work is, right? Otherwise we should just sign up on our own, without your referral link and get paid directly!

Escrow would be a smart idea for this offer.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NASDAQ Linq is a farce on: November 23, 2015, 04:38:18 AM
Obviously your frustration is fair but I wouldn't worry too much about what these corporations are doing. We're going to see a ton of variations of the application of blockchain tech. Most of it will be bullshit (and likely not even true to the technology), some of it will be legit, and an exceptional few will be innovative and create great change.

Let's enjoy being a part of the thing that started it and see what comes (the dumb and the brilliant)!
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Okey, so there is this guy..... on: November 23, 2015, 02:29:25 AM
Do you have to buy whatever it is from this guy, only?

If he's going to make it harder to deal, maybe he's not worth dealing with...
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 19, 2015, 08:03:30 PM
Why only $1 and hour? What's that going to buy you? Not much!

I realize you might live in an area where $1 goes a bit further than in other countries. I'm just curious why that's your mark. Care to share with us?
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators, prove your worth! 2015/6 BTC Price Prediction Contest. Win 0.3 BTC on: November 19, 2015, 07:55:36 PM
So if one provides a narrower range and hit the right price they'll win over someone who hit the right price with a wider range, correct?

Are you really going to remember this in a year? How do we know we're not entertaining your curiosity now? or using our guessing data for your own use? or getting paid for page views as we go to your site where the form is located?

I love contests and the award you're offering is generous.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start or participate in a "Signature Campaign" ? on: November 19, 2015, 07:47:35 PM
You need at least Junior Member rank. Better ist Member or Full Member. Then go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0, choose a campaign and apply for. All information are provided in the coresponding campaign thread.

This isn't true, why do people keep saying this? There are campaigns that are open to Newbies! Not many, just a few, they're probably full, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. People need to stop spreading false information!

There is a function called search in the forum you know. Anyway, before this thread gets flooded with sig spam:
"Prequel": First improve your post quality, if you keep repeating the same things are a bunch of other people, you'll most likely be banned for sig spam.
1) Go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
2) Find a campaign that accepts your rank
3) Follow the instructions there

This is pretty funny post. You should put a let-me-Google-that-for-you link in here to the forum thread on signature campaigns.

I appreciate that Newbies want to know how to get involved, we were all Newbies once. We all had that moment when we thought "hey, how do I do this?!" But these guys need to take 15 minutes to read a few sections in this forum! At a minimum they should announce that they've spent time looking for the info, couldn't find it so are posting a thread about "where do I find this info, can someone please share the link?"

It's getting to be twice a week!

I wonder how many of these guys ever actually enroll in a campaign? I bet most lose interest pretty fast.
19  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] High Grade Casascius Brass on: November 19, 2015, 07:40:44 PM
Bitnickel has been sold!
Curious if the buyer would reveal the price they paid for it  Roll Eyes

Well it had to be at least BTC9.  It doesn't seem like a deal to bundle with the brass worked, since it's still for sale. And since there probably wasn't a bundle, the buyer probably paid the ask.
20  Economy / Services / Re: [BitcoinBlackFriday.info]★ Signature Campaign ★ High Payouts Every 2 days [OPEN] on: November 19, 2015, 07:38:11 PM
I take it this campaign ends after Friday, November 27th, yeah?
