Yes this is possible. There's a lot of information on this forum. The first thing for you to do is to read what's already available, then if you have specific questions you can ask them by starting a new thread.

Go to the Services Discussion board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

Read about different campaigns and there's also a thread on "Overview of Signature Campaigns" that's pretty helpful. Read, learn, and you will be wise!

Welcome!

thank you very much for giving the link now i am able to understand little bit about this site, and detail about signature campaigns and earning, but for newbie their is no many campaigns only 1 or 2 are their, i will wait for my account to become jr.member.

No problem, I'm happy to help. I'd still encourage you to join one of the few campaigns that accepts Newbies. It's better to be earning something rather than nothing.
222  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How do Faucets work? on: November 09, 2015, 05:55:14 AM
Hi everyone,

We have been requested a few times to include a Faucet on our website, but I'm embarrassed to say that I am not sure what it is or how it works.
I tried doing a search on the forum but all I got was people talking about getting BTC for free.

Can someone please explain to me how it works?

Thank you in advance!

See the link in my profile for a good set of examples.

Faucets are just an easy way for someone to get a small amount of bitcoin and for others to make money off us bitocoin user and for the site owner to make money off of the page views from the people seeking money from the faucet.

It's a cool way for someone to get their first bitcoin. It's not a great way to make a lot of bitcoin. And it's a great way for a site owner to make some money.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinless blockchains? on: November 09, 2015, 05:48:07 AM
I hear many bitcoin enthusiasts say that creating a blockchain without a monetary token behind it would be pointless, or even impossible. To be honest though, I've never heard an analysis on why that would be. Without evidence presented though, it's hard to figure out if there's actual knowledge supporting such an argument, or a fear of bitcoin being left behind if banks start using blockchain tech without it.

We've already started hearing about big institutions expressing interest in blockchain tech, investing in related enterprises, and even using it. What are your thought on this? And from the technical side of things, what is it that makes a blockchain without bitcoin behind it sound unreasonable?

It wouldn't be pointless or impossible.

The blockchain is a way of authenticating and tracking a transaction. The transaction can be anything. There's nothing unreasonable about business using blockchain to make their business more efficient.

I'm a big fan of it!

Can you restart this thread as a poll so we can all easily see what the summary count is for people that have 1 wallet vs. 5 vs. 10?

It' makes it much easier to see the results and then we can discuss the results with comments.

Thanks.

Poll has been added, thank you for suggesting that Smiley

Thanks for taking my suggestion! I just submitted my answer to the poll.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Much Bitcoins Do You Have? on: November 09, 2015, 05:43:07 AM
These kind of replies vary from time to time... In some people's case it varies from hour to hour Cheesy replied with 0.1 - 0.5, right now, might be different tomorrow Smiley

Sure but you can probably change your vote when you hit or lose the lotto and have to update your balance category.

I like these polls, I've set up a few on my own. I look forward to seeing the results~
226  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: November 09, 2015, 05:41:25 AM

Sale 1 - 2weix: could not find a buyer even at 26 so he peeled it

That would be my preferred option, if i couldnt find the right collector.

Peeling a holo feels great for about 5 seconds

Yeah, then you're like "fuck, I can't go back..."

Paying a BTC1-2 premium for a BTC25 coin is NUTS. These guys scored big! That's a small fee to pay!
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen when blocks are being full on: November 09, 2015, 05:38:34 AM
Uber fork. The fork happens, that's the reaction from full blocks.

Much happy.
228  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is coinbase going to be the next "goxed"? on: November 09, 2015, 05:36:53 AM
The fork conversation is not new and it's not shady. It's a legitimate issue facing the future of bitcoin. The real debate is whether it should happen now (forced) or only when it's really needed (organically). At some point the size issues will be real.

I think Coinbase has more to lose than to gain if they were do something "gox like". The operate in the US...laws are different there.

231  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't fear the Reaper on: November 09, 2015, 12:36:01 AM
Yeah, I like our growth prospects too!

We all need to understand that there's a reality that can't be completely changed without significant penalty to the organization or event that "rocked the boat" too hard. It's better for us to allow the financial market talking heads have their time to criticize and critique bitcoin's purpose, position, and staying power.

People usually vote with their wallets. Those of us that participate with bitcoin will bear it's rewards. Those that don't, won't.

That's perfectly fine for me, is it for you...?
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where is the anonimity? on: November 09, 2015, 12:32:02 AM

I was looking at the blockchain.info site, and I noticed that there is a lot of information that can be found out about transactions. Including IP addresses to and from and everything else. Where does the anonimity come in if their is any?

There's initial anonymity. But you're right in that if someone wants to find out who's transacting what there's a lot of information available. This is part of the reason why people insist on using cold wallets (and multiple wallets), it makes it harder to track the person who originated the transaction.
233  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: November 09, 2015, 12:25:18 AM

I will offer you 27BTC for it. I have purchased 2 of these in the last few months at or below 27BTC.

Why anyone would sell @27BTC or below, is utterly baffling to me.

This may set a precedent that Casascius coins carry a flat BTCx premium over the face value. I.e., add BTC2 to the face of the coin being offered for sale and that's your starting point for a fair price.

In the end the fair price will always be what the seller and buyer agree upon as a price, but the premium theory could represent the starting point for that discussion.
234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think signature Campaigns will still continue when btc goes $800 ? on: November 09, 2015, 12:17:18 AM
Do you think signature Campaigns will still continue when btc goes  $800 ? Will the Campaigns runner will offer low price than now ?

I don't think the fiat conversion matters. All the companies that have signature campaigns deal ONLY in bitcoin. They require bitcoin be used to pay for their services and they pay signature campaign participants in bitcoin. The fiat price doesn't matter!
funny you say that, because the company youre advertising for, bit-x, is an exchange that, wait for it, not only deals with bitcoin, but fiat too. you know, because theyre an exchange. holy shit. ground breaking discovery. call the fucking news.
do feel free to take more than 3 seconds to think up of a reply before spamming next time. bitcoin doesnt rule the world right now, and weather you or these businesses like it or not, fiat currency will play a factor and impact their decision making.

now lets take a good look at that sig for the people that are incapable of reading:
holy
fucking
shit
it has dollars, euros, and british pounds. theyre *gasp* not bitcoin. who wouldve guessed.

The biggest thing that will ruin signature campaigns is if users exploit the privilege and post bullshit, non-constructive posts. Let's keep the posts of a high quality - loose lips sink sigs!
bullshit

Wow, you really got me there. Seriously, good point. But your sarcasm wasn't needed and it doesn't prove my point wrong (maybe think for 4 seconds before you reply with a rebuttal.)

My point still stands, the increase in the fiat conversion to bitcoin would not lead to these businesses shutting down or not getting the value out of this type of advertising. If anything their business should improve as that growth in price brings more attention (and hopefully users) to the currency.

One thing that that's still really shitty (but unrelated to the OP) is this past week's very short boost in price is the catalyst to cut payments to the people that are gathering their customers. It's bad business, but I guess these companies don't need to represent any loyalty to their advertisers.
235  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of avatar campaigns? on: November 09, 2015, 12:07:06 AM
I would like to join an avatar campaign. I know there are only a few campaigns compared to sig campaigns. Is there a list somewhere?

Dust Dice is a great campaign. Easy to join, reasonable requirements, good pay. Consider Dust Dice...
236  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone tried this ? on: November 09, 2015, 12:01:13 AM
I've never heard of the site but if they're offering a free trial what's stopping you from trying it for yourself?

You could try it and then give us all a review on how well it worked, whether it's worth it, etc. Perhaps there's a referral code you could use to earn some money by recruiting us (if you like the site of course.)
237  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: POLL: Will signature campaign rate drops impact participation? on: November 08, 2015, 11:48:57 PM
I think people doesn't care about it whever campaign's rate gone low or not. Enrolling sig campaign earning bitcoin and it should just consider as bonus for posting. For me as long as I can earn by posting , no matter how rate they are , I keep enroll to any campaign even there are only 1 sig campaign left on this forum with lowest pay

I agree that it is consider as bonus for posting. However, I will not join a campaign if the rate is too low. I would rather use my spare signature space to advertise my Bitcoin related website. If I do not have a Bitcoin related website, I would link it to a useful thread on this forums such as https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345. If not I would use it like how others in the past is used - asking for Bitcoin tips in the signature.

What rate do you consider to be your minimum for participating? What rate will be too low, that you'd walk away from?
238  Economy / Economics / Re: Shall I hold or invest with %12.5 premium per year ? on: November 08, 2015, 11:47:46 PM
Where can you get a note paying 12.5%? Which bank? I might be interested.

Good luck whatever you decide, I would just point out the obvious and say that if your fiat inflation is say 10% then your real return is not 12.5%, but 2.5%.
Given your permabull stance, I would stick with Bitcoin personally. Moon, and all that. Smiley

If inflation is 10% per year we'll have much bigger problems to contend with!
239  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need a Signature Campaign on: November 08, 2015, 10:17:38 PM
i saw your signature wasn't empty anymore now and it seems you already found it

Yes I decided to show my full support behind this coin as I have stopped all my gambling and invested everything into it.

Haha, your ad is still for GAMBLING!!!

It says "play dice", that's gambling! Hahaha.
240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need a Signature Campaign on: November 08, 2015, 10:16:52 PM
Well not quite desperate to get back on one but considering my previous campaign went south and only offering half payments. I decided to leave the campaign after all promoting gambling isnt exactly going to get you the noble peace prize and I don't like the attitude of first cutting rates at a slight hint of a rise in Bitcoin and after the dust has settled the prices didn't go back to normal. Any offers or where I can find a spot ? Ideally 0.1 + a week would be bearable.

Dude, I don't think your'e cut out for participating in signature campaigns. Non constructive posts like this are very bad for business.

Are you not familiar with the multiple threads that summarize the signature and avatar campaigns? Are you not familiar with the fact that all signature campaigns available are posted on this Service Discussion board?

Btw, it's the Nobel peace prize, not the noble peace prize.
