Fuck you guys !  Play there and your money is gone  Cool

Motherfuckers !!

Yeah, seriously.   Proof or it didn't happen.   That's a LOT of money to have won.     Please show us the txid, and we will all be very happy for you.

I read the title. I read the OP. I'm posting a comment. But not until after I saw your posted and realize...I have to comment. Yes, I hope I will get paid (but the Sig Campaign will make the call on that). It's good that you call that shit out, we all should. The problem is you called out the wrong poster! This guy asking for proof is the same thing I thought when I saw the title and OP. The guy you should have called is the one that repeated a post from the previous page or some other real bullshit.

The irony is that your callout post is off-topic and not constructive, a major foul for the signature campaign participants. And the guy you call it actually has a comment that's on-topic and at least relevant.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxing is legalized robbery on: August 01, 2015, 12:14:47 AM
Politicians using taxes to take wealth from poor to rich, only bitcoin can change that. What do you think?

Are you 18? If you are, you vote for those taxes. Don't act so helpless. If you don't like the taxes, do something about it! Vote a different way, get people to vote with you, do something to change the opinion of the politicians that represent you. And if you live in some place where the government is completely corrupt and the vote doesn't matter, move!

Bitcoin can't change the need for Government to assess taxes.

Bitcoin is a currency, it's not a government. You can put all your money in Bitcoin, but the jurisdiction you live in will still require you pay taxes. They don't care you pay for them, only that you pay up...unless you live in Greece, of course.

In what situations is a barter economy better than a monetary economy?

In a situation where confidence of the monetary system has severely diminished or non-existent. A barter economy will exist when there's little established government...when we start to see a barter economy we'll be in a very bad place. Then the people that survive will "enjoy" the new world.
945  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SNOWDEN ON 2-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF LEAKS: 'Balance of power beginning to shift' on: August 01, 2015, 12:02:44 AM
Julian Assange (Wikileaks) and Edward Snowden are NWO con-men!
http://www.tomatobubble.com/snowden_fake.html

A news source called "tomato bubble" is a step closer to satire or bullshit that I'm willing to consider.

I'm not sure that balance of power has shifted, I don't see signs of it, but it takes longer than two years to see these types of swings anyway. It has been great to see the US administration respond to the secrets that Snowden disclosed. This kid's a real example for those that do want to change the establishment.
946  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / Re: quickseller濫用他的信任的力量 on: July 31, 2015, 09:45:12 PM

Prohibit quickseller, he promoted his ALT trust account. There are some from his own trust account trust green, he was selling! How can we let people sell off default on trust, because he already owned and abuse of power and use his powers to give a positive trust account, in order to increase their value! He needs to be removed from the default of trust, because he could not become a trustworthy person to hold such a state!

Please correct Oh Lord Bitcointalk

P.S. I can't help but think that Quickseller is the woman in his/her avatar...which makes all of this even more ridiculous.
947  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US Presidential Candidate Rick Perry Reveals Bitcoin Stance on: July 31, 2015, 06:17:53 PM
Interesting...  I would not expect Gov Perry to take a stance such as this, perhaps perception/awareness of crypo-currencies is greater than I thought.

Let's be honest here, this is not a stance...he said "I'll support regulatory breathing room" which means he wouldn't actively pursue or make a priority (of his administration) writing regulations around bitcoin use. This isn't much. He's not saying he believes in bitcoin or even that he understands what it is. He's just saying "it's not a priority".

Let's not give him too much credit. He's a conservative, which means less regulation for business and industry. Hopefully bitcoin is allowed to mature and be used with minimal regulation...only time will tell.

Need to see some pics...meh just bought one of these the other day. If pics are legit I offer 26 for it.

It's official, you're a BSD in this community.

"Just bought one the other day"....hahaha....like you just tried a new restaurant. You're living life large, with loads of anonymity...there's possibly no better place to be.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alot is not enough on: July 31, 2015, 04:41:28 PM
You're not saying that 26B times each grain of sand are the number of wallets opened or used, you're saying that this is the total possible combinations of wallets based on the number of digits used by the number of digits and letters (upper and lower case) as to be used to create those addresses.

Not sure what your'e point is but it IS great to know that there's enough combinations for EVERYONE in the world to have a wallet or ten or much more.
950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin wealth by region - please consider participating in this poll on: July 31, 2015, 04:31:57 PM
TL:DR - if you voted for "UK & Europe" in this poll, and live in the UK, please vote again for "UK - specific" categories!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1133078.0

There's been several smart comments, requests about breaking out the UK and Europe. I've decided to make that edit to see if we can get more accurate data (I realize how that sounds as I manipulate the choices midway through an open poll), and to this I'll need your help with the following:
  • If you've voted for UK & Europe, you can now change your vote
  • If you know of anyone else who voted for UK & Europe, please ask them to change their vote

You'll find the new UK-specific choices at the bottom of the poll and I've tracked the UK & Europe totals (at this point in time) so we'll have a record of what was and how it changes going forward.

Voting levels as of 31 July, 2015 - before the breakout of UK & Europe:
</= 1 : UK & Europe   - 11 (8.7%)
10 > 1 : UK & Europe   - 18 (14.3%)
50 > 10 : UK & Europe   - 16 (12.7%)
> 50 : UK & Europe   - 18 (14.3%)

Any questions?

Thanks!

953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I find the best Charts? on: July 31, 2015, 04:17:14 PM
If you want the best data, go to the source, the Blockchain has great charts -> https://blockchain.info/charts

Their analysis spans transaction volume, bitcoin market cap (by volume and value), price history, wallets by user, mining data, etc. There's nearly 30 charts here and most (if not all) are dynamic, meaning you can scroll across the line to find specific data points at a specific point in time.

If you don't find what you want here I'd refer back to the lmgtfy.com link that another person posted...(and Googling is even faster if you don't let some one do it for you!)

Good luck.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Bitcoin wealth by region on: July 31, 2015, 04:11:50 PM
I'm missing [>1000]
You should split Europe in € and non-€ countries.

Haha, >1000...if you're joking, it's a great joke. If you're serious, well done and congratulations. I should add a "on the moon and waiting for the BTC price to catch up!" because with 1000 bitcoin in wallet, you're doing quite well!

Yeah, I now think separating out UK and Europe would have been wise. I didn't realize how much volume of forum members were located in that region compared to other regions.

Maybe I can edit this...
955  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2013 Casascius .1 BTC Silver MS-68 [Funded][Ends August 1 4PM EST] on: July 31, 2015, 07:07:11 AM
0.1's seem hard to sell since they are all in the market

What does this mean?

All the Casascius coins are "in the market", most if not all have been sold and distributed. I'm sure Mike kept a stash for himself but still. What do you mean that these are hard to sell since they are all in the market?
956  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius Brass Coins 0.5BTC on: July 31, 2015, 06:59:33 AM
Are these sold yet? My offer still stands at 1.3 and I'll cover shipping.

These are not sold yet, not really in a hurry to sell them. Looking for right price to let them go for.

You should just say your price so people can make you offers OR set up an Auction (in the Auction board) with a starting bid of whatever your price is...letting this sit here without taking action on offers is kind of a waste of time, no?

And for what it's worth 1.3 is about double what these coins have gone for on this Forum in the last month.

EDIT: just reread the OP and realized the 1.3 would be for both...ok, that's competitive, you could hope for a bit better!
957  Economy / Economics / Re: Reform in Greece is for the good of all Europe on: July 31, 2015, 06:54:30 AM
Is the austerity really senseless? Who should be responsible for paying back Greece's debt? The Government - definitely. Who owns the Government - the People! The People could be charged higher taxes or benefits could be reduced or a mix of both could happen so everyone play a part in getting Greece back on track.

What would you propose as an alternative? That the debt just be forgotten about? That the government continue to spend and promise huge benefits without having the stones to collect on taxes? That the people refuse to pay taxes?

Your "comments have rather puzzled me"...but I'd love to talk about it.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Bitcoin wealth by region on: July 31, 2015, 06:45:01 AM
I know there's been a lot of talk/polls about the spread of bitcoin wealth. I thought it would be appropriate to refresh that understanding (since there are a lot of newer members here) and overlay that distribution of bitcoin wealth with geographic location.

Please select the option that aligns with your bitcoin wealth and geographic location.

Please don't put your answer in a comment/reply, only share your comments to discuss the outcomes, findings, or theories on the data.

Thanks...

Yeah, unfortunately, this polling place is limited because it's mostly just English speaking westerners.  But it's still a worthwhile endeavor to build data.  If you could find various equivalencies to this board in other countries it would be useful to continue building data.

I think we have equivalencies in this Forum, there are several foreign language boards here on Bitcointalk. Do you know a foreign language? Can you help me translate this poll for the benefit of our non-english speaking friends.

Thanks for participating.
959  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Earn Free Bitcoins? on: July 31, 2015, 06:42:46 AM
I want to get 0.1BTC to 1BTC or more in 1 week if that is possible without spending any money. Does anyone know like websites or activities that could get me that much bitcoins?

Uhh, you could work. Usually work doesn't require spending money, you know because you're working...instead of shopping.

What a silly question. Do you really need help learning how to earn money? Go work. Then buy some bitcoin! Don't make it so complicated and don't think you can get something for nothing.
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Bitcoin wealth by region on: July 30, 2015, 11:02:41 PM
Based on few pools in past, it said that this kind of pool isn't too accurate since there are many trolls Roll Eyes

This doesn't make sense to me, but to put your concern at ease - a person can only vote once but can change their vote any time they want.

People can lie, but what's the point in that? And if so, that person can only influence one false vote, not many.

The real influence that makes this poll "directional" at best when it comes to real research or results is that 1) we're relying on the population of people that use this Forum, and 2) we don't know what the geographic make up of this Forum is and if we knew that we could normalize the results. E.g., if 80% of Forum members are from the UK & Europe we could reduce the weight of those votes, to account for the higher population.

(P.S. Theymos, if you're reading...any chance you can share those stats with me?!)

This poll may have more insight on the regions that have no respondents - Africa, Aus & South Pacific, Russia - these areas perhaps have the lowest penetration of bitcoin use and discussion, at least significantly less than other regions who've matured so far as to participate in a Forum like this.

Nearly 120 votes, great work...who's going to vote next that hasn't already? Thanks for your participation!
