I am not sure how much true this news is. SOmeone posted an image in facebook which doesn't seem to be fit for them, I mean their dress was looking like they were coming back from practice session. I think they should go back to Bangladesh for now. Who do you think will win? I go for USA :-P
They are doing pretty well. 86 runs for 2 wickets after 9.3 overs. I am also not sure about the Bangladesh team however I think they needs to go back. It's to much scarcity. I do not understand how people become so sick and kill innocent people. This entire incident made me upset. RIP all those innocents. We are better than this. Honestly. |

I was not aware of that. By the way, I am more into seeing aggressive betting then standing on the pitch and do nothing. In test match a batsman can stay as long as he wants and score double or triple century. Nothing is stopping them to do that. Yes, you are right they have changed the mindset. Before they used to play for draw and now they play to win. |

No one can deny that IPL changed everything in the world cricket, be it money, biggest talent hunt in Cricket history-career jumpstarter.
Bumrah, Pandaya brothers, Chahal, Maxwell, Warner, Bravo, Pollard etc list is very long.
But Imho because of 20-20 format, the majority of players don't take Test cricket seriously now. that's why test matches getting over within 3 days nowdays.
It's actually exciting to me. Before we used to see test matches playing 5 long days without any result. They were not hitting the balls but staying in the pitch like a dead man. It was boring to see. If you don't play then why are you in the pitch at the first place. Now a days, we hardly see draw tests. |

I strongly feel that the IPL has done more good than bad. It has become my favorite cricketing event over the years. The talent, emotions, grandeur, strokeplay etc are some of the reasons why I am in love with the IPL.
I do agree that there are a few cons, but the advantages of the IPL make it totally worth it in the long run.
It's the same for me. I do believe IPL done good thing than the bads. I can not find anything bad about IPL. It's helping the players financially, it's exposing the talents, young stars. It's changing the conservative mindset that you have to bat very carefully and 250 runs is enough to win a 50 over match. There are a lot of good things about IPL. |

I used to play a lot of cricket too when I was young. Second favorite sport is soccer though.
I tried football once but twisted my foot then I ended with this conclusion that football is too big to kick :-P Seriously, I don't understand how do these players get all these stamina to kick the ball for entire 90 minutes :-) By the way, breaking news: https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2019/mar/15/christchurch-shooting-injuries-reported-as-police-respond-to-critical-incident-live49 people were killed in the attack, including 41 at Deans Avenue mosque and seven at Linwood mosque. Another victim died in hospital.
A man in his late 20s has been charged with murder and will appear in Christchurch court tomorrow.
Two others arrested at the scene with guns are being investigated. A fourth person arrested may have had nothing to do with the attack.
Several guns have been recovered from both mosques. Two explosive devices were found on two vehicles at the scene. One has been disabled.

That depends on what you mean by "play with the system"...  If you're not trying to manipulate blocks or other data files, then I don't see how you can do anything that would really warrant needing a backup. In any case, if anything goes really bad, you can always simply delete all the data files/blocks/chainstate etc and then simply re-sync... However, if you have plenty of space (like a spare ~260Gigs laying around) and feel like backing it all up... it won't hurt. Making a full backup takes as long as it takes to copy the ~260Gigs to your backup location... whatever that might be (external drive, internal drive, network storage etc) LOL not that what I meant. I will basically try to get to know with those command line things how they work etc etc. It's more like exploring the entire system and getting to know the features. Karachi kings started very well in this Eliminator 1 and the later order batsmen were unable to take the advantage of the early good start. Islamabad is a much better composed team and they showed this in this match.
Eliminator 2 between Peshawar and Islamabad will be a thriller and i am not sure if you cannot predict 100% of who will win this one.
My pick is Peshawar Zalmi although the winner can be anyone. I would like to see the final between Peshawar Zalmi Vs Quetta Gladiators. From the starting my team was Quetta :-) |

Kings lost - once again the same three teams in the second qualifiers and finals. The names "Karachi" and "Lahore" attract the crowd, not having any of these two teams at this stage of PSL yet again is actually a failure of PSL.
I hope Quetta wins this PSL - they usually reach the finals of the tournament but then lose in the very end.
I am supporting Quetta from the beginning, I hope you remember. I would be happy to see then to win the trophy. In the final I am going to back them up :-) |

They do a shitty job in general, which is why I don't watch TV or even keep up with the world. I find that I can function just fine without keeping abreast of world news. On the other hand, crypto news does interest me but based on this article and others I've seen from CCN, I don't think that organization is reputable. They obviously have some bias (which I happen to agree with, but it's bias nonetheless), and that's a huge red flag in my eyes. When I see CCN it reminds me CNN. Obviously they mimicked CNN and tried to confuse people. I also do not see that they have much reputation except the site was created in 1992. Anyway, after seeing theymos's two response, OP should have very clear idea now that the news was just a noise. Some people sitting on their desk and writing some made up story. The last time I saw was 19 slots which were sold and today it's the same number. I think there are few problems here: 1. Community is not trusting them. They were advised to have a forum escrow. Islamabad United finally won the match. It was really entertaining match. Until the 2nd last over, it was hard to predict who will win especially the bookies were really confuse.
So, we are going to have 2nd Eliminator with Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi. I think I will pick Islamabad again and in that case the final will be in between Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators.
May be Quetta Gladiators will be the champion :-)
