That's nice of you. I was also planning the same and have already purchased an external disk but these days so much busy that I can't start it yet.
I have reacently read some artciles on it. I want to link some of these articles here, these may assist you.

https://99bitcoins.com/step-by-step-guide-firing-up-bitcoin-node/
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2017/05/05/tutorial-start-full-bitcoin-node-windows/
Thanks for the links.

About starting your own full node.
I understand the busy part of our life. Same happened with me too. It's been long years I am with Crypto but never found the time to install the Bitcoin core. But when I did I thought oh well it's very easy. Just like installing a random application in your system.

The only thing takes time is the network to synchronize. As a user, you are not doing that. You just open the application once you are using your system and leave it aside while you are working. Although my one is running in a different PC. I have few laptops and desktops in my house.

I hope this inspires you to run your own node.

Take the first step. Here :-)

Cheers :-)

Naomi Osaka - Kristina Mladenovic
1X2: W1
1.29
Gael Monfils - Leonardo Mayer
1X2: W1
1.25

ACCUMULATOR ODDS - 1.613

GL GUYS !!!

Quoting for reference.

Bad to see Berdych lost but it was a good match however with that your first bet (if double) was a lose for your followers. I hope the 2nd one is going to win. Let's wait for Pliskova.

In papers Pliskova should win so I think this bet will be win.
8383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 09, 2019, 11:00:59 AM
~snip~

What you are telling is true, even India won last two match without Virat kohli playing well, so it is fully team work. If all match straight forward India will win then the fun of the series will be lost so to keep interesting India have to lose the match.
I disagree. Still it's fun to see your team is winning if you are India team fan.

Remember there used to be a time when Ricky Ponting was Australian captain and Australia was unbeaten for a marathon time? Ask an Australian if they were bored to see it? I do not think they will ever say that we were bored to see our team is winning.

You are underestimating the Indian team way too much, aren't you? This is the same team that destroyed Australia and New Zealand in their own backyards earlier this year.

Also, they need 1 more win to win the current series against Australia which is why they are the hot favorites to lift the world cup this year. 1 match does not describe the entire story.
People are too quick to react. The current Indian team is one of the most balanced team than anyone else. The only team can be very close to them is the English team. So I do not see much worry about this Indian team.

I don't know why people keep saying Virat Kohli or Dhoni are the performer. They have Sharma, Dhawan, Rayudu, Kuldeep Yadav, Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar and many more great players. People just do not understand that there are reason for these players to be in the squad.

There are some finest cricket in the world now.

Again quoting for reference.

The first two matches has already started.
Between Young vs Hurkacz, Hurkacz is leading in the first set. May be he is going to win it. And in between Berdych vs Lopez, the fight for first set is still on. However I am more interested to see the final result of these two matches.

You might wanna recheck the first post of this topic, posted by Royce. and again clarified by Royce in his recent post.
Why everyone types Royce but it's Royse :-)
Never-mind. I am ok however calling Royse helps me to search for my mentions.
8388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 08, 2019, 07:37:34 PM
Anyone is watching Berdych vs Lopez  and Young vs Hurkacz? I am just observing the matches as someone predicted that Hurkacz and Berdych win in these matches. Interested to see his claims.

However, I think Hurkacz should win since he is far ahead in the ranking than his opponent. The Berdych vs Lopez match can go either way but I will give Berdych the advantage.
8389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 08, 2019, 06:58:51 PM
I missed today's match but again India had their betting disaster like the last match. They lost last 3 wickets in only 7 balls. If I am not mistaken then in the last match they also lost very quick last few wickets or they could add up more 20 - 30 runs.

India's lower order betting line up need some focus. Every run is important in big matches.
8390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Finally setting up a full node on: March 08, 2019, 06:50:57 PM
I am okay with downloading the entire blockchian. I have not in hurry for it. He is the latest update:

I ran the system for 4 to 5 hours all together since I installed the core. I think progress is okay so far?

By the way, I will have a lot of questions coming in soon. Let the synchronization done first. Thanks for all the inputs so far.

Cheers :-)
8391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Finally setting up a full node on: March 07, 2019, 04:51:45 PM
As the title say. Finally I thought to run a Bitcoin full node with the hope to contribute for the Bitcoin Network. I feel ashamed that all those days I did not run a full node. All blame goes to Electrum though :-P

Notice the image, it says 7 years 40 weeks.

Anyway, I have one question for now, may be I will need to find answers for more if I need.

= I am downloading it to an external device which size is over 1Terabyte. Once the synchronization will be done then can I just remove it from the current machine and connect it with any other machine. Install the core in the 2nd machine and show the folder path of the external device. Will this work?

Bitcoin Client Software and Version Number: 0.17.1
Operating System: Win 7, 64-bit
System Hardware Specs: RAM 10GB, Intel Core i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20 GHz 3.20 GHz
Description of Problem: No prob yet
Any Related Addresses: N/A
Any Related Transaction IDs: N/A
Screenshot of the problem: N/A
Log Files from the Bitcoin Client: N/A

Please help me to understand.
#1 I see backup wallet feature but I do not see any restore option.

Since there are no restore option then how do we do that?
Is this a correct way:
Imagine I have a wallet.dat file from Electrum. Do I just copy and past it in the main directory and replace the current .DAT file?

#2 In Electrum we can create as many wallet as we can using the 12 word seeds and extended seeds.
In Bitcoin core a full node is one wallet?

#3 How can I create a multiSign wallet? I do not see any feature. I think a full node is only one wallet if the #2 is correct.

#4 Is there any easy way to "Send to many" option.
In Electrum we can just paste the addresses separating by comma with the amount in each line but here we do not have such feature. The one we have is click and fill the form which is not much user friendly. Is there any other way?

#5 If I use the encrypt wallet feature then this means the current wallet.dat file gets encrypted. How do I recover it? Follow #1 if my explanation is correct and in this case I will need the password phrase?

#6 If someone want to take the full node from me. I give them everything except the wallet.dat file? I mean which are the files I am okay to give them if they want to get the files from me to run their own full node?

#7 This full node is of-course helping the Bitcoin Network and I am happy with that. My question is that running this full node gives me any personal benefit?
I understand miners earn Bitcoin from the network by solving the algorithm and from transaction fees but for a full noder, is there any financial gain?

Cheers :-)

if that's you all guys meant by your first 2 fav team then it's okay otherwise its fucked up and confusing.

It's kind of like this. If the top one fails to win the world cup the 2nd one will win. If the 2nd one fails then the 3rd one or the forth one. :-)

This is my top four prediction for 2019 so far (If the top miss then the 2nd top may win):

India have been performing nicely from a long period of time and have been at the top of the leaderboards consistently.

Kohli and Dhoni are 2 primary reasons why India has been performing so well. Dhoni did the right thing giving the reins to Kohli a couple of years before the world cup and Kohli has clearly been doing a fine job as the captain.

Also it's nice to see how Dhoni and other players help Kohli in the stressed moment. We have seen it in several occasions. The latest was in the last match against Australia.

India deserves to take the world cup if everything goes right of course.

I think England will perform well, but I do agree with your statement that England might not reach the finals. Instead, it could be New Zealand or South Africa in my opinion.

Imagine Bangladesh reaching the finals. That would be insane.
I don't think Bangladesh is a balanced team yet although they have some very good cricketers. May be in future they will have a chance. For Bangladesh I think 2nd round is enough or may be the quarter final.

Anyone doesn't have any problem with the site reference. No offense to previous replies above 1xbit has a scam accussation and I don't know if it's still going on but I won't play in that site that the op provided. It's good that someone share a tips here for free and there are other person doing the same thing and some of them ask for payment before they give their tips which some lf it doesn't work as the game is base on you luck.
I am not bothered to gamble in 1xbit. I am more interested in OP's predictions. For those games you case easily find the market in any bookies.

8397  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JPMorgan Coin. Why crypto is clearer than banks on: March 07, 2019, 02:41:54 PM

Amount Scammed:
$35 mln

Are you saying that they already raised $35 million dollar or they are looking to rise the money.? I am sorry I am not much into this JP craps but honestly speaking why do they need an ICO in the first place?

Remember, this same JP had different opinions in the past.

Edit:
This is interesting

Since 2008 to 2013 alone, JPMorgan spent about $18 billion in litigation. But the organization doesn’t learn from its mistakes. Another fuck up happens almost every year, and it turns out that these bankers are really the smart-ass cats who are trying to fuck the system.

Indians are red hot favorites to win the world cup and I guess nobody can stop them , I was of the opinion that England could be the one team who can stop them but now I don't really feel like that , what do you guys say ?
Although England is playing good cricket, they will have the home ground advantage but if history repeats then England will be the runner up again. My prediction is that England will fail to pass the Semi final.
8400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a scam based on language manipulation on: March 07, 2019, 01:40:00 PM
For. e.g. fiat money is created when a bank grants a loan i.e. SOMETHING, which is why paying someone with fiat money is actually the transfer of rights derived from bank loans. That is why fiat money fits the definition of payment — SOMETHING (rights recorded in the banking system) are transferred from one person to another.
Hmm
How do you find the notes in the first place? Isn't it you just print when you want? Have you backed it by anything?

It's like if I have political shelter and have a print machine which is able to print money and the papers and the holograms and the designs then I can print as many notes as I want. You call it currency system?
