Thanks.  I did not try alternative part numbers.  For the exact they wanted an MOQ of 1000.  I will try ordering 10 of the one you recommended.

Thanks.

Under 7KW is nothing.  You will go over that plan with ease especially if this is also where you live.

I have about 68KW of miners at my house and I typically spike the power to 82KW.

I would plan on a 20KW to 100KW plan and if you can not get to 20KW rent some power out to host miners.

How many of these boards go into a GAW War Machine?
287  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: NEW SPONDOOLIES SP50!!! on: September 23, 2015, 03:37:45 PM
I will try to buy some.  This decreases the amount of wiring and work to setup, so its a labor saving for me.

They won't get any of those so many people are doing them, and some of them are part of most bitcoin wallets.

I live next to one, its a life saver.  The SD cards are really cheap and good quality over 40 of them and no bad ones yet.
294  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: "Modern" home mining hardware? on: September 22, 2015, 04:08:32 PM

You can find the T-110S around for sale.  The S is supposed to stand for silent but I never owned one.

OP asked for modern, not "already outdated by late 2014 technology standards".

Both the S5 and the Spondoolies "rockerbox" based machines blew away anything Bitcrane made.

For "winter use only electric sorta-portable heater" usage, any miner will work.

He asked for 1W per Gh @ around 1000W, with a big requirement for it to be quite so I gave him what he asked for.  Only other options is Avalon 4.1 or if he wants to mess with water Antminer C1.
295  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Placing machines outside on cold winter? -20 on: September 21, 2015, 10:18:56 PM
As long as the miner stays on so it generates heat, does not get wet, has air circulation and stays clean I would think it will do fine.

I might be concerned about the wiring getting to brittle if it gets really cold.
296  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: So who drops out at the halving? on: September 21, 2015, 10:16:08 PM
I plan to keep mining into the halving and beyond.

299  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Does minera support BTC Garden AM V2 ? on: September 21, 2015, 08:32:32 PM
I am pretty sure it does not out of the box.

I have both, never tried it.  I guess I could but I imagine the minera will be lacking the serial output to the miner via the ribbon cable.

I am sure some customization you can probably get it working.

"21 Bitcoin Chip has an efficiency of approximately 0.16 Joules per Gigahash and can calculate 50-125 Gigahashes per second."
