181  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: June 22, 2016, 09:53:41 AM
I don't think so. A house isn't something tangible at all, as it is a piece of paper that assigns you the ownership of this house. So really, it is not real estate by any means possible.

While bitcoin if you have the private key, then it is yours.

Good to see my thread still going. Yeah i dont like the idea that my ownership of a house is basically backed by what? the government and army of a country? If a country changes its system you have nothing.

182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 22, 2016, 09:49:46 AM
My prediction for today
Portugal vs Hungary: Both teams to score
Italy vs Ireland: Italy win
Sweden vs Belgium: Over 1.5 goals
Iceland vs Australia vs Over 1.5 goals

Good luck.

Italy are resting players because they already qualified, check the news. Ireland will be going for the win life or death, its a btter pick to go for ireland.

Stranger asks you for something (money/change/cigarettes) what is your response?

Where i currently live in a main town centre street currently every other night someone is asking me for something when i walk to the shop.  The area i live in is pretty decent but town and city centres at night aren't the same.

I do care about all people but i dont want to be harassed for resources in this way constantly.  I have even had some under the breath comments thrown my way when i say no sorry.  Its not always homeless people asking either but usually is, sometimes you just get some guy who doesn't appear homeless asking for shit.  They all want money to buy alcohol though.

187  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: June 20, 2016, 05:10:53 PM
Can you use these bitcoin debit cards in actual stores in UK for example or only certain stores? or is it cash points only?

With something like the bitstamp card what is the reality of using it, if im in UK i would get high % currency exchange fee if i bought something with it in a shop right?
188  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: June 20, 2016, 12:01:55 PM

With 28% capital gains tax in my country i am considering just holding forever recently. 28% is so huge, even if we hit $3k bitcoin from here i dont think its enough to make me sell any.

190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 20, 2016, 11:54:13 AM
For England and Slovakia match , I think England will win but not easily , because the four teams have the chance to qualify , for that I predict two strong matches today , even England want to be the first rank to play with 3rd rank team from other group , also Russia will qualify if it wins in case Slovakia lost . There are a lot of analyzes and possibilities for this group , let us see who will qualify .
I dont think England is going to play seriously in this match, and then Slovakia is going to play all out in order to pass to the next round, Russia and Wales also struggle to pass to the next round, this two matches will be a really good match to watch

This match suits england very well:

1.) The pressure if off england. Historically england suffer when under pressure.
2.) Slovakia have to attack england and england do have better quality overall including the counter attack master jamie vardy who is going to start.
3.) England have to play their best to secure top spot but without pressure since they are through to next round.

Prediction = 2 - 0 comfortable win.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Turkey Play Semi-Finals in Euro 2016? on: June 18, 2016, 09:30:37 AM
Turkey is out from the race now and that is really surprising like what they played into opening matches, before start of this event Turkey was looking very promising and i also thinking it will be qualify to playoffs matches but it showed very poor performance there.

Can they still not make it to next round with 1 win? 4 teams from third place in a group will qualifiy.  Either way they are one of the worst teams in the tournament i cant imagine how bad turkey feels who paid to watch feel.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does World Economic Forum say 1 BTC will be $300,000 by 2027? on: June 17, 2016, 07:40:24 AM
Not really latest news (Sep 2015), but just stumbled on it. Basically World Economic Forum predicts that roughly 10% of the world's GDP will reside on the bitcoin blockchain by 2027. 10% of today's gdp is 7.5 trillion. So if you divide 7.5 trillion by 21 million, that would make each bitcoin worth over $300,000 per bitcoin by 2027.

Would be worth more since there wont be 21 mil coins available in 2027 and not even the amount you think there would be available either due to coins lost.

Based on those calculations though i approximate for bitcoin to be worth $3000 now it would be about 0.06% of the world's gdp.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 17, 2016, 07:35:19 AM
I also disappointed by poor performance of Germany because it gave up easily even it looking will win this match against Poland, for today match i will place my bet on Italy @1.91 and i am pretty sure it will beat Sweden into this game and will make secure its position for next round.

Poland should have won that game, they also look a decent outside bet for going far.

Todays bets =

Italy v Sweden - Italy win boo
Czech v Crotia - crotia win
Spain v Turkey - spain win

pretty easy to predict.
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Incoming $163,000,000,000 market cap and $7700 coins on: June 15, 2016, 06:17:53 PM
It's very doable. When Bitcoin reaches the mainstream and can do global transactions thanks to LN, it will have the marketcap of a major payment processor company. And even if this never happens, we are still gold 2.0, this means trillions of dollars of potential metal holders diversifying in the superior Bitcoin asset.
I am also considering it is highly possible to happen as bitcoin would be the future of world economy like both in payment system as well as investment sector. So, it is highly possible to reach even price levels like $10,000 per one bitcoin.

Bitcoin will be reserve currency in the digital world. It will have the same status of US dollar today.

It will have a bigger status than US dollar, not only will it be the digital reserve currency but it will be one of the best stores of value unlike USD which is only decent for holding for a month tops.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k???? on: June 15, 2016, 12:04:46 PM
I think $ 10,000 would not be achieved in four years. probably in 2025 bitcoin prices will exceed $ 10,000. we expect only bitcoin prices will increase further.

I honestly think the 10k is not gonna reached at all, its just way too much for the bitcoin in my eyes, its just such a large amount.
The max what the bitcoin can reach in my eyes is the 5k in the upcoming years..

Its tiny and possible, look around at the value of other things, paypal is still worth much more than bitcoin and paypal isn't even a currency/asset itself.  Bitcoin use hasn't even began if you think, if all paypal users used bitcoin $10k isn't enough to support that growth.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 15, 2016, 12:00:42 PM
Russia v. Wales

I'm pretty sure its Russia vs Slovakia today mate :O but Russia should win it anyway Cheesy strong team spirit

Confirmed, i predict russia will lose the game but win the stadium fight 3 deaths to 1. In all seriousness, russia are a terrible team this year they made england looked like the best team in the competition and thats really hard thing to do.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: What I think the Halving could bring on: June 14, 2016, 07:04:37 AM
Why would you want option B? it wont happen anyway but just get on the train man, everyone always wants cheaper bitcoin and its a mentality i started with initially.  The best thing to do is keep getting more bitcoin and holding for longest time possible, you have very little stress this way.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 14, 2016, 06:59:41 AM
Damn Belgium totally disappointed me yesterday. Not that Italy should be considered an underdog but given the sheer amount of talent in the Belgium team I expected a completely different result. But the Italians are known for a very resilient team and can outplay their opponents with superior tactics. Belgium went form hero to zero and now they are at the last place in the group. It will be very interesting to see how the action unfolds in Group E now as all the teams have their chances I think.

Same old game play by italy, they slow the games, grab a goal, an park a bus in defence for 90 mins.

I think they need to change the rules in football when a team in on a counter attack and the opponent does a professional foul a yellow card is not enough.  2 times belgium had excellent chance to score on counter and all they got was an italian player booked when they fouled.  Maybe a sin bin or even red card for blatant professional fouls would work because the game just gets spoiled.

Also consider the fact that the italians getting yellow cards also doesn't help belgium from the point for view the better italian players get suspended for the 3rd group game if they get another yellow in the 2nd game. Belgium now need italy to beat other teams since they lost. Meh, rules suck, rant over.

Oh no, Spain vs Czech Republick still 0-0
What do you think for this match will be a draw?

Like i wrote before, Spain is good team but it is not this same as was 4 years ago.. Czech Republic in last games plays very well.. Very good goalkeepers on both sides.. 80 minutes right now.. Draw is VERY possible.

Edit: And BOOM!!!  Grin No more draw!

Spain 1 - 0 Czech Republic

I watched the game and yeah its not the same spain, they miss david villa they have morata who is talented but still too young.  I would not bet on them to win maybe semi finals though.  If they do win the tourney it will be with 1-0 wins all the way.
