381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% Winrate on: March 13, 2016, 07:01:57 PM
Hello, I`m your betting God, and I don't like losing bets, so I always have a 100% winrate. I will demonstrate here how easy it is to never lose a bet, I only bet on sure things. I bet on football games only.

My address is this, where I start with 0.04BTC, and all my wins will be sent here, so you can track my performance. I won't have any losing bets. The bet size doesn't matter you can bet even with 20BTC because we won't lose, but I prefer 0.04BTC for demonstration purposes for now:

BTC Address: 15t8gpCFEF3GfP8F6SWHUN77pADCBKRfRi

Bets: 1
Winrate: 100%
Returns: +0.806075%

100% win rate and the word gamble dont fit the same sentence very well over a large sample.   You dont need such a large win rate though i know a pro gambler who only has a few % point edge on his bets but is putting down $5k and $10k bets a time so makes $200 each bet etc.  Its more important you make good bets than win all the time.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 13, 2016, 06:53:48 PM
actually aston villa has played with very good tonight but seems they are was not lucky because Harry Kane has made last minutes goal and this is very good day for him because he has been a saviour for tottenham

I dont know if its much surprise really. Villa have been terrible all season and have no decent strikers since they lost benteke.

Leicester now have a very difficult game against newcastle now to keep the gap to 5 points.  Normally it would have been an easier game but newcastle brought in a new manager and teams always play better first few games.  Im going with 1 -1 for that game.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Domain for 5000 $ !!!!! on: March 12, 2016, 10:59:30 AM
although the price was $10 for domain bitcoin.ga I still was not interested. yeah I am more interested in using the domain com.

.com has a monoploy though it really shouldn't matter as its just an address. But yeah i have had to pick a .com for my own website business because 99% of people seem to like the .com branding.
384  Economy / Services / Re: OpenBazaar on: March 11, 2016, 12:19:42 PM

385  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where is Kraken incorporated? on: March 11, 2016, 11:52:33 AM
Is Kraken a California incorporated entity?

Im wondering if they do most of work out of japan, they seem to have connections out that way with getting the MtGox deal and also have R Ver as investor.  Decent exchange though for sure.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 11, 2016, 09:28:58 AM
Mate..new manager generally means instability.. u can see that in Man Utd and Liverpool.. It is effecting Man Utd more than Liverpool though..

The problem actually lies with the players instead of the coach. United has a bad player composition, they got alot of midfielder when what they truly need is more defender and apart from that there are many injuries that strike the team so the coach needs to change the player and use less inexperience player for the match

And they need geniune wingers, because who have they got for width right now? seems like they get stuck with playing a striker or midfielder out wide.  United over last 20 years always had decent wingers but when you have ryan giggs i guess it always helps.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins on: March 11, 2016, 09:24:11 AM
I would reinvest them to make them into 100 bitcoins. My target would be to reach 500 bitcoins as that is the amount I would need to change my life. So keep going and keep generating more with it. Money makes money, same thing with bitcoin, more you got more profits you can generate. When you reach your target then you can spend some on luxuries too.. I am 499.8 bitcoins away from my target lol.  Grin Grin

You wont get to 500 if starting out now and have no money to invest or a very well paying job.  Even then to invest into 500 bitcoin you would need to be pretty comfortable elsewhere in life.  Its better to make smaller realistic targets and that way you can achieve them and be happy you did.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A 7-Yr Prison Term for Bitcoin Use, Says Russian Finance Ministry on: March 11, 2016, 09:15:02 AM
A new amendment to the Criminal Code by the Ministry of Finance in Russia sees the regulator – for the use of bitcoin – propose up to 7 years in prison for management and executives of banks and financial services firms. For the everyday citizen adopting bitcoin, the proposed term for imprisonment is 4 years.

SOURCE: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/a-7-yr-prison-term-for-bitcoin-use-says-russian-finance-ministry/

Yeah they also have prison time for weed over there and are pretty harsh on it but people still use weed.  I think the news is bullish as it shows the reasons why we need bitcoin in the first place.  I know BTC-e has blocked russians so it must be pretty serious though.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 11, 2016, 09:07:08 AM
Liverpool 2-0 Man Utd - FT

Take that. Good performance by Liverpool. Man Utd were rubbish & without an away goal it should be all over now. If Liverpool score at Old Trafford then Man Utd would need 4 goals.

Wow just saw the score thats pretty lame attempt from united and i agree without an away goal they are stuffed.  All liverpool have to do is score one time and united need 4 goal at home.  Liverpool will just park the bus.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if there's no price rise for the halfing? on: March 11, 2016, 09:05:01 AM

I find it hard to believe we have already had the halving pump, its just too small a move and most of it we clawing back the value we lost from the $1200 run.  If a pump doesn't happen right around the halving i think the market makers will be up to something to get people to panic sell.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it important for crypto currency that Bitcoin is the one? on: March 10, 2016, 11:00:27 AM
yeas it is because all the other alt, are doing nothign but diluiting the market value of bitcoin, and they are useless for any kinda of real usage

they are only good to feed your bitcoin wallet, otherwise why you think everyone is buying those? no market accept them, so they dump for btc, like they dump btc for fiat, but at least btc is accepted by some merchants

People seem to buy them because they actually think they are different enough to succeed i guess. From my understanding bitcoin can adapt and build any type of features on top of it that an alt coin might have.  It seems the alt coin markets are full of salesmen often presenting the alt with a flashy website etc.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the price for January 1, 2017 on: March 10, 2016, 10:57:05 AM

I feek like it is binary, 1 hand i like picking a price above the previous ATH.  Another option could be we just stay in this sideway motion for a couple more years until some huge reason to go upwards happens.  Things like openbazaar if it works properly could help us since buyers and sellers on that network will generally hold more bitcoin than normal.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Spike Again? on: March 10, 2016, 10:49:46 AM
We all know about the huge increase in the value of BTC in 2014, do you think this major spike in price could happen again? If so, soon? Let me know what you think.

There have been bigger bubbles before end of 2013 remember, check back the chart in term of % gains.  As long as the bitcoins survives it will have future bubbles and atm it seems strange the price is being held down.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 10, 2016, 10:31:20 AM
Such a great win for PSG last night and also Benfica was very good.

Good win for PSG as expected i think.  No chance for chelsea when they need 3 goals at one point.  Hazard wasn't even running back at several points during the game, no chance if 11 players aren't putting in a shift.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it important for crypto currency that Bitcoin is the one? on: March 10, 2016, 10:28:19 AM

Isn't it important for crypto currency to succeed that Bitcoin is the one?  From a store of value point of view lets say something else takes over, well then crypto will have a harder time of more people putting money into it if their money can be devalued.

Yeah it is like the father of all those coins. I dont know who's the mother of those other coins but I guess they are all adopted. I think there should only be one. So that people who want to start it will not get confused to other ones. And what is more. To make it stronger.

Its fine that there are other ones but it doesn't say much for the design of this new category of money - crypto currency, if it cant hold value.  It will mean crypto is just a payment service network only.

397  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E USD BANK ACCOUNT CLOSED. on: March 09, 2016, 11:22:46 AM
I have done my Wire-Transfer to Btc-e since Feb 20, and my money haven't show up on the account till now.

Today, their support reply my post claim that the "BANK ACCOUNT CLOSED" and tell me my money must been refused.

I have no idea what is going on and all of you can check the BTC-E "USD Deposit", Wire-Tranfer is now GONE.

Anyways, I want my money bank!

You could probably go to bank and get the transaction reversed since you have time?  I doubt BTC-e would want to waste their time taking 1 persons money but it can be hard at times to get decent support from them.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 08, 2016, 03:49:04 PM
Wolfsburg vs Gent
I prefer to take Wolfsburg and over 2.5 goals. my guess 3-1

Real Madrid vs Roma
I think this is an easy win for Real Madrid. my guess 3-1

I would think it should be an easy win for madrid this time round at home.  Totti is playing his last ever game and is about 201 years old haha.  3-0 is my guess.

Other game i like wolfsburg pick.
399  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Video: OpenBazaar Testing - Buying a Physical Good on: March 08, 2016, 03:47:08 PM
So, every seller needs to run their own server connected to the Internet 24/7? Is that correct?

There will be services which will keep your store online 24/7 for a tiny fee i should assume.  If you want to sell legit things that could be a decent option.  I just hope we can upload CSVs no problem Smiley
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: March 07, 2016, 09:54:26 AM
A sickness? Gambling is a habit, not a disease. If you consider all addictions a disease, almost EVERYBODY would be considered sick and ill. Think about what you're addicted to in life. What increases your dopamine levels?

But alcoholics seems to recover better when they treat the situation as a sickness.  Actually what that really means is society treats it as a sickness.
