Evening game should be an easy win for city though.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: August 13, 2016, 12:34:53 PM
If the question is directly to me then I would say no because I dont have the power to pump or dump the price, those who can manipulate the price are the exchanges, big holders because we are talking about millions to be dumped or pumped.

I do not have enough fire power to affect the price directly. But I hold most of my coins, that will indirectly increase the price.

Of course you have fire power, if you do not have fiat to increase the price all you have to do is spread the word and let others get involved.  I'm always getting involved in conversations online with people who dont understand bitcoin.  Spread the word my friend.

0.75

0.75? what a great price haha.  I think he means 0.075 ?  Seems very cheap for a hero btw guess forum accounts finally becoming almost worthless.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 13, 2016, 12:16:07 PM
my pick today
Hull city vs Leicester City: bet on Leceister to win
Everton vs  Tottenham: bet both team to score.
good luck.

Tottenham were the form team before they lost players to suspension at end of last season they could carry on and win the league its possible.  The EPL market has a short memory it seems. I'd go with a spurs win.
85  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BFX tokens; worth anything? When? on: August 13, 2016, 12:13:10 PM
Hard to tell for sure, but I doubt it will reach 1$ any time soon. On Fairlay.com, you can bet what price range it will be on December 31, 2016, and it looks like the favourite is 25%-49.9% worth with odds of @3.21, so it isn't a huge favourite. Thought it would be worth mentioning though. Also, the odds are @5.66 for 1 BFX token to reach 1$ by January 1, 2018, so it seems pretty unlikely to me.

They will definitely be worth something, and they are already right now.

Finex have to consider the longer they are outstanding the more people will remember, pretty sure they wont be a BFX token by 2018.  They'd either die or clear the debt i see it as very binary.  The volumes are still looking good im going with they clear it.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 12, 2016, 05:24:37 PM
Arsenal are supposed to have a lot of injuries ar the moment, I'm hoping that Liverpool can come away from The Emirates with at least a point.

At least, could easy be all 3 i really fancy liverpool this season and arsenal just seem like the same team (still a good team though).

Im going for leicester to beat hull also Smiley
87  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 12, 2016, 04:43:15 PM

Volumes are still pretty good, even after all thats happens. The BFXtoken is only 0.28 right now which is a little disapointing.  I shall be holding out for the $1 pay back or equity though and trading it any chances.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Kim Dotcom Predict 2000$ per Bitcoin ??!! on: August 12, 2016, 04:32:07 PM
i'm a huge fan of kim dotcom but i dont think his project will have this much importance to bitcoin... i'm not saying it isnt good, but i dont think it could bring a 300%+ pump in one year.

If it does thats great but i dont think we need it to make a $2k bitcoin.  Over time it costs more to mine and the network is spreading it will keep going up in price or die is always the way of things.
89  Other / Off-topic / Re: Make a Living Sports Betting? on: August 12, 2016, 04:27:42 PM
Hi!

I would like to know if it's possible to make a living betting in a sports e.g: a sports I manage and have knowledge about.

I have around 100k fiat in BTC to get as my bankroll.

What ROI can i expect yearly?
Any bankroll management tips?

Thanks

Its not so important if you know about a sport, its more important if the market knows less than you do about it.  You also need to think of it in terms of math most importantly.  Its possible though there are probably thousands of sports betting professionals over the world at this moment.

Bu Manchester United have unlimited found? 105 million for Pogba are the more high price for player (first are Bale for 100 m illion).
But United have see the last season to pogba in juventus? Have see euro 2016? I don't think  Grin
Yeah but i think zlatan will give more for manchester united than pogba even him playing good when play for juventus, he still need more experience to worth get a price like that.

Thats what you have to pay these days, pretty crazy if you saw him in euro 2016 he was ok not amazing.  I think that kante was a much better player to buy i dont understand why they didn't bid 40 mil for him or something.
i think that Manchester united have gone with Pogba instead of Kante because they want to show off that they can sign stars even when they dont play in the Championsleague also in my opinion Pogba can help a lot in the offense and they are in need for player like that that they missed since Scholes gone and Kanye dosent help in the attack as Pogba do he is more defensive then offensive

Kante doesn't help much in attack but try scoring 2 goals vs a team that he is playing in, he was the perfect leicester player.  United could have bought kante and marhez for pogba money its crazy.
91  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BFX tokens; worth anything? When? on: August 11, 2016, 06:27:59 PM

After hearing more talk from finex today im pretty confident the tokens are worth double the current rate.  They have many options to clear the debt, crowd funding was mentioned, im holding for now and buying any at cheaper price.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: England Championship Prediction Thread... on: August 11, 2016, 11:07:54 AM
Newcastle United VS Huddersfield Town ==> Home Win
Wolverhampton Wanderers VS Reading  ==> Draw
odds for Newcastle United ML is pretty good and this time i do agree with you Newcastle United will win in their first matches on championship league and for matches Wolverhampton Wanderers VS Reading this is a little confuse because odds for them are pretty high and might be over 1.5 goals is good for these matches

Newcastle started bad with loss now they have to win on home ground and for that i will go newcastke to score 2 or more goals

First game losing for newcastle doesn't look good they were clear favs to win the league @ 2-1.  Im thinking now is a good time to bet on them for value but there actual chance of winning the league might be pretty unlikely.
93  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BFX tokens; worth anything? When? on: August 11, 2016, 11:04:56 AM

The Bitfinex CTO has said they will be paid back in full in 3-6 months is the aim or if not you get shares in finex instead.  Seems alright but we need further details.
94  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BFX tokens; worth anything? When? on: August 10, 2016, 08:16:58 AM
I wonder if they will pull this off.  If they do, will the BFX tokens actually gain in value?  Will they finally become equal to the loss?  How long could that take?  This is going to be an interesting journey from a large hack.  Hopefully it goes better than the way MtGox went.  Liquidation doesn't seem like a very good path either.
Chances are it's going to be a fairly long time before the BFX tokens are able to pay off everything that was lost, especially considering the lost business from the hack and the mistrust of the website now. It is definitely better than what happened with Mt.Gox, and I hope they'll able to get everyone their funds back, but I wouldn't be betting on it personally.

Depends if they get investment, im thinking if the BFXtokens price is low thats beacuse they have investment.  The price of BFX will be more clear when we find out exactly what they mean.

Probably a good time to bet on NZ for rugby 7s, they just lost today so market will value them less. Also figi just lost their star player due to injury, else i would say figi FTW.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 09, 2016, 05:36:01 AM
What do you guys think of Leicester for next year? Do you think they could keep up with last year results and, at least, try to make a difference again or are they destined to go back to the old days in which they were an average team?

I hope they will kick some asses this coming season as well! Grin

I hope they do well but i think with the champions league games its going to make it hard for them. I predict they finished aound 8th or 9th.  If they lose mahrez they will finished even lower.

Pogba just signed for 89m to man u confirmed.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you like when gambling alone/ with your friend? on: August 09, 2016, 05:06:30 AM

I feel like the bigger chance you might do somehing stupid is betting on your own.  With your friends you usually have an allocated budget and its more about socializing, if you were to lose big the day is ruined.  By yourself nobody can know what you've done.
99  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Bitcoin Betting on: August 09, 2016, 05:02:53 AM
Australian basketball twam is way to good they beat another europe team Serbia i did place bet on Serbia and lost but no big deal

Yes they have a very good team for this Olympics and I believe they can challenge the USA for the gold medal. This is Australia's best basketball team ever in my opinion to send to an Olympic games so I'm expecting them to at least win a medal.

I cant see anyone challenging USA tbh.  Most teams dont have the depth in bench so can stick with USA for 70% of game but then get done at the end.
