661  Economy / Speculation / Re: China volume last 24 hours on: October 15, 2015, 11:29:04 AM
Am i the only one who think china exchange just raised their fake volume trading?
I think they did it because they saw other exchange's volume raised & saw bitcoin price raising up.

I can't believe china exchange's volume at all Roll Eyes

If so of the volume is fake the overall volume is higher than normal, they are excited about or trying to push something.  Can only be positive.
662  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: October 15, 2015, 10:59:14 AM
How's bitfinex processing express USD wire transfers these days? Anyone still use them? Or should I look at other exchanges? Please post feedbacks.

Looking at how nobody is complaining about anything, guess bitfinex is tip top.

People moaned about bitfinex but they are still going strong and haven't done a runner like other exchanges.  Good on them i see their volume is climbing back to close the gap on stamp.  Probably overtake stamp again since they have more options and litecoin trading.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price going up for no apparent reason? on: October 15, 2015, 10:57:05 AM
What is the reason?

What do we not know?

Just a another manipulation for a short pump and dump? We haven't had one of those for quite a time.

Remember the price is still down from $1k so this little up move is nothing.  You have to also consider the US gov want the best possible price for their auction of the 44k.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 15, 2015, 10:55:33 AM
Buying Bitcoin was your worst decision of your life?  Well, I know one thing about you. You've never been married. lol

Let me raise that to married with kids.... some are lucky though and it works out great, must be like 3%er.
665  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: October 15, 2015, 10:46:11 AM

Cool chart! when the rainbow says buy its buy time.  Looks like some big players involved who never wanted the price to slip under $200 so yeah good luck if you want much cheaper than this.
666  Economy / Speculation / China volume last 24 hours on: October 15, 2015, 10:37:30 AM

Pretty insane volume even by china standards, over 1 mil BTC traded global over last 24 hours
667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gemini's launch is a failure, so is bitcoin on: October 14, 2015, 09:47:22 AM
Just wanted to point out that Gemini has kept up with the other exchanges in this recent jump from about 245 to 248. Great to see.

Gemini is operating exactly how it should be. Volume is only a matter of time.

Exactly i dont know why people were expecting tons of volume this early.  Gemini offers maybe a more legit way for people untrusting of other bitcoin trading platforms to get involved.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 14, 2015, 09:38:36 AM
How many of you can admit that buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of your life? I can. I'm approximately -50% in fiat funds now.
Sooner or later some type of bank chain or coin will come and gain mass adoption - while bitcoin still remaining a geek coin
to buy weed.
I know this forum is more like a cult than a information channel what comes to honest opinions but I know there's others
on this forum who feel the same, almost all of us. Don't let your cult believer ego come in the way.

Nobody is forcing you to be here OP nobody is forcing you to use bitcoin.  I smell fear from you and others.... bitcoin is in place for taking over significant parts of the world economy in the future.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discussions about digital coins in some countries. What future for bitcoin? on: October 11, 2015, 03:34:56 PM
I don't get it why other countries is trying to make their own cryptocurrency
Bitcoin is universal and accepted everywhere unlike fiat which you need to change to other currency in order to use it on other country Smiley)
Leave crypto currency alone,we already have hundreds of crypto currencies  Roll Eyes

Same reason why people try to make their own alt coin.  They want more control over the situation than the bitcoin would give them i guess.
670  Other / Off-topic / Re: netteler has closed my friends account on: October 08, 2015, 09:42:25 AM
hey guys today one of my friend (imran) has told me that netteler has closed his account without any warning and he has 1500 balance there so he is expecting some solution or a way to get that balance back and also tell if it happened with some of you
proof : http://imgur.com/BXVn8SU

This is because of bitcoin or how does it connect? was your friend doing something wrong? (using the neteller wallet as not intended?)

If you think you have a good case seek legal action or write to their support with your plan of action.

I once had a small issue with neteller where my account was hacked and funds transfered out but neteller couldn't recover all the funds.  I then asked for full details of the person who did it because i was going to start a legal case against them, after that neteller decided to refund me in full and no further action needed.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: October 07, 2015, 03:58:25 PM
As I'm sure you all know, Bitcoin is a currency that allows users to make money or send money anonymously, with little to no concern of the government taxing your hard earnings, and not being able to know what a trade is revolved around. Bitcoin as of now has a reputation of being a dangerous asset to the world of illegal transaction (theft, scams, and overall illegal activity). There has been proof that bitcoins and other currencies similar such as altcoin and so on have been continuously tied to illegal activity.

My concern as an interested participant in the act to make this currency a well occupied currency is being threatened and truly compromised by people who still to this day sell and purchase illegal substances, and services. I constantly read people's trust commentary pages on how some users are "pedophiles" or sell stolen property. My only wish is that we get our acts together as adults, and prove to society that we are not criminals. We are just people that enjoy our privacy, enjoy being what we want, and enjoy freedom. Thank you.

Your thoughts?

My thoughts are everything is going to plan... when the internet first came out it was a dangerous place full of porn and good for nothing.  The mainstream are always slow to catch on and bitcoins start is looking just like the internet.
672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you trade based off emotions? on: October 07, 2015, 07:45:02 AM
To the poll; have emotions influenced your trading decisons before?  I'm curious to see how many if us have fallen for our own mind games. Do not look at it from the lens of now. But think back to the time and try and figure out if it was an panicked choice, or a logical one.

Did you sell while the prices were falling from the ATL because of panic? Did you buy LTC at 30 dollars? Try and differentiate between sound choices and pure emotional speculation. This may be a good thread for people to reflect and see if they are making their trades wisely or not. Although someone's best logical choices might be worse than someone's best emotional choices.

Yes i bought when the hype was at high points before but oh well thats what you do when you aren't a pro trader.  Im up overall for being in bitcoin and litecoin so looks like i did ok.
673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gentlemen, i think it's safe to say we're the new halving elite on: October 07, 2015, 07:43:26 AM
Haha I like the idea of this thread, just needed to get a post in on the 1st page incase the price does go up massively as a result of the halving next summer.

Kind of a - 'I was there' - thing. Grin

Its going up for sure, anyone see litecoin price stable at around $3 for a while now after halving, a very good clue that the halving will at very least double a price.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long did it take you to make 1 BTC? on: October 06, 2015, 03:13:31 PM

Edit: Buying doesn't count, So now that's out of the way the results would be interesting to see.

If buying doesn't count then yes it took me a few months to get 1 BTC from "earning".  Buying should count though i think, in which case i bought as soon as i could.
675  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you find your private keys in bitcoin core wallet? on: October 06, 2015, 08:22:21 AM
Where do you find your private keys in bitcoin core wallet?

Read in another thread i should back them up beyond wallet.dat, so what i should write them down or something? anyway where are they and do you get a new private key for each new address i assume?

You assume correctly...
You need to use the help > debug interface > console (sorry, i translated this, my wallet is in my local language)
In the console, you can export your private keys, but be carefull not to expose them!

How do you mean expose? just as in someone physically seeing them?

Any other mistakes that can be made or is this a simple process?

677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost all my Bitcoins? on: October 06, 2015, 08:09:08 AM
No. Lesson to BTC DEVS - learn basics of end user experience. Drop your Microsoftian attitude, please. It's 2015.
Why should btc devs care about user's funds?

I assume they want more people to use bitcoin would be the answer.  People have different levels of technical experience and limited time/resources to learn new things in life.

Hi, i just this campaign last week and i didn't qualified for 40 post minimum.

My question is my post will be counted at my joined date, or start count after this payment??

So i don't have to post 40 after this payment cycle. Just continue my post until reach minimum post.

Since it hasnt really been stated in the OP nor by me til now what i can do for you is go ahead and pay you for half this payment cycle and youll need the whole 40 posts for next cycle.

Can i get paid also then for my i think 18 posts?
