221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alternative for martingale? on: June 06, 2016, 02:58:28 PM
Guys do you think there's alternative for martingale?
I found some strategy anti-martingale and reverse martingale do you think guys it will work in dice game or other gambling games?

It wont work as such basically the math will tell you so, you dont need our opinion.  I do like using various martingale mash ups though like setting the dice to 90% win chance and then x10 the bet size if you lose.  If you can get a bankroll that can take 3 losses on that system its pretty solid to keep playing for a while usually.  Its all luck though.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 06, 2016, 02:54:53 PM
Vardy in Arsenal,is it official,if yes i can say oh no,maybe Leic can buy polish striker from Ajax,17 goals 11 asist.Lewandowski partner in polish national team, really cool player 20 mln euro
recently just watching the news and looks like Vardy will be Arsenal players as you said and Ranieri has been confirm for Vardy transfer and i think Leicester has get a lot of profits from these transfer because Leicester buying Vardy only £ 1 million from Fleetwood Town and now they selling him with £ 20 millions to Arsenal

Thats 20 times the amount that leicester purchased him, I wonder how much will mahrez cost. Personally I think that mahrez could worth over 50 millions easily, he is still young and talented. He got whats in him to become the next star and real madrid should be the one that will get his sign soon
Surprised news vardy choose to move to arsenal rather than stay at leicester and build his own history there.
It is human nature by the way to get huge money for the club by selling their rising stars.
If this situation continue I mean leicester sell vardy , mahrez , kante etc they will turn poor club again.

Without kante and mahrez they wouldn't have won the premier league, kante is probably the best player in the world in his position so no way to replace him. The only players on marhez level are probably bale, ronaldo, messi.  Basically if leicester lose these players they are screwed.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks The Barriers, Crosses $500 Mark on: June 06, 2016, 12:02:34 PM
Bitcoin price skyrocketed, crossing the $500 mark. As inconceivable as it sounds, it was reported to be as high as high $531.70 .

Not that inconveivable consider its already been twice that price back in 2013 haha.  Anyway i think breaking $570 was quite a key number... as in we will see over $600s pretty soon.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold my alts, all in BTC on: June 06, 2016, 11:02:53 AM

Might be a good idea to sell alts for now and get back in later yeah.  Im still holding a little LTC at the moment, it can move so high and fast as we have seen in history many times its worth the hedge. Other than that im all in.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2016, 10:40:18 AM
For the Sweden vs Wales game today, both the two teams have not done well in the previous games, and so I have bet on under 2.5 @ 1.635 today.

Wales probably will win this game as coach will probably use his best lineup for this match. Wales is going to be on the same group as england so probably they need to make sure that they make a use of this training friendlies match as much as possible. Taking wales + 0 for this match could be much better

Sweden has won the game by 3 - 0 and Wales did not even have one shot on target, and my bet on under 2.5 goals has lost.

If that is the case it doesn't look good for wales in a group with russia, slovakia  and england.  All 3 teams are a similar strength to sweden if not better. Slovakia could be a dark horse for the tournament.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dying?! on: June 06, 2016, 10:37:14 AM
According to Mike Hearn's blog, he said the Bitcoin is failing and dying so he sold all his Bitcoin. Is it really true or it is just his marketing strategy?

The market cap like 2.5 billion off the ATHs isn't it ? the hash rate is higher than ever before.  Looks to me like he wants to buy more bitcoin at a cheaper price else why does he bother even making an official 'im quiting bitcoin' announcement?
227  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: June 05, 2016, 07:44:44 AM

Im thinking of all the areas i have earned bitcoin in the past 1 year it didnt require me to be an adult to do so.  Offer services and people will pay you in bitcoin, trade on many bitcoin trading platforms and you dont need to be an adult, p2p poker you could make some bitcoin at also.  Great times for young people in bitcoin.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 05, 2016, 07:41:31 AM
Looks like Vardy could be going to Arsenal if you believe the rumours.
i was heard these rumour too besides rumour Ibra and Man Utd and i think if Vardy choose Arsenal this is could a good choose and Arsenal fans may be will accept him because pretty difficult to next season for Leicester could win the league 2 times in a row

What the relation between it is hard for Leicester to win next season trophy with Arsenal fans may accept Vardy? I cant understand it tbh.
Talking about Vardy who will be Arsenal player soon (as I read on sport news), I dont think he will do the same thing as what he did with Leicester last season. He will need more time to adapt with other Arsenal players.
I think Arsenal is a good place for Vardy, because there are many assist makers like Ozil and Sanchez who will suitable for him. And I'm very sure he will always get in the starting line up since both Walcott and Giround's performances has decreased year by year. But deep in my heart I hope all of Leicester players stay and still play together atleast for one more season. I'm curious if they could make another miracle in Champions League.

I think Vardy already fix  going to arsenal, i saw some news about Vardy go to Arsenal. If it's right, it will be awesome for arsenal. Next season will be good !

Ive not seen much of any decent news about any leicester player leaving, im thinking they might all stay for 1 year and ride the train.  If big money comes in for 1 of the players though it will be interesting to see is they resist, doubt it.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: June 05, 2016, 07:39:27 AM
Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley

Not really, because with trading you actually have the chance of getting out of the market when you feel like it, and taking perhaps only a percentage of your entire principle as a loss. While with gambling you usually go all in, and there is no looking back.

Also trading actually involves skill in terms of picking the right thing to invest in, while gambling, it's pure luck man.

You can bet on live markets in sports gambling and enter and exit anytime during the game.  I know someone who is a professional gambler doing exactly this.  Its just like they are a professional trader with a different stock, they talk smart, they are detached, it is their job.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: June 03, 2016, 11:22:22 AM
I was wondering if it was a good idea to buy Bitcoins now considering that there are only 42 days left until Bitcoin block reward is halving.
what do you guys think? Smiley

Well i told 2 members of my family this year could be a decent price move and so far not been wrong that its going up.  At the moment no significant move has happened so yeah i'd put it as a good time to buy right the way up to the previous ATHs.  Whats the alternative get 5% at best in a saving account? haha
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some say bitcoin only until 2030? on: June 03, 2016, 10:42:03 AM
some say bitcoin only until 2030?

Do you believe bitcoin only until 2030 and will be lost in 2030?

If bitcoin is around by 2030 then its going to be in a very strong position or a novelty item.  The next 5 years are key moments.  The govs will be trying to find a way to work with the system since bans wont work.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OFFICIAL EURO 2016 Information, Discussion and Tips Thread + 10 BTC FREE PROMO on: June 03, 2016, 10:39:17 AM
Germany looking on point but I still remember their loss against Ireland Tongue was pretty shocked back then so anything can happen this time around too guys Cheesy

Any team can lose in the occasional game. Germany may not win the tournament but they'll be in the latter stages I reckon.

Germany have a quality team like usual and will easy be in semi finals+.  I would not bet on them since the market will favour them so much the odds are poor.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Genuine concern of a trader on: June 02, 2016, 05:21:19 PM
Hi everyone, I trade actively on bitfinex and poloniex, and usually end up keeping big amounts of USD on the exchanges (mostly bitfinex)
Sometimes exceeds 50k USD. And my concern is, what if bitfinex closes down or vanishes? The funds will be gone along with them.
And to prevent such tragic loss, withdrawing the USD to my bank account (a procedure that takes 7 business days +2 business days to arrive to my account) isn't an ideal method as that prevents me from trading. And I also dont want to keep say 50k USD sitting in an exchange with fingers crossed that nothing bad will happen.
I usually trade BTC/USD, ETH/USD pairs, so buying other currency (for example ltc, with current high rates) isn't ideal either.

What do you do? And what would you suggest in my position?

Thanks for your time.

I suggest you put about $40k of that in a buy and hold bitcoin position and lock it up for 5 years.  Then trade with the other $10k surely that is enough?
234  Economy / Speculation / Re: 0.02 BTC July 1 Prediction Competition! on: June 02, 2016, 05:19:39 PM
$601.11 is my guess.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OFFICIAL EURO 2016 Information, Discussion and Tips Thread + 10 BTC FREE PROMO on: June 02, 2016, 05:18:31 PM
sad to see vincent kompany wont be part of the blegium squad this year because of groiun injury so one good defender down Sad for the squad other than that actually solid

They still have the tottenham centre backs both belgium i think, kompany is a miss but it will be down to the front players how well belgium do.  Will hazaad, de bruyne and lukaku turn up i wonder.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banks on: May 31, 2016, 03:57:21 PM
are there any bitcoin banks that give interest on deposits?

No proper ones really.  You will find different places will offer you different percentages but then you will have to judge if they are trust worthy to hold your bitcoin.  Crypto makes it so that people who provide value to society get rewards. People who want their money to do the work are better off with dirty fiat system.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: May 31, 2016, 07:14:02 AM

I like betting on france but they are favs and already have a key defender out via injury.  There are many decent teams, my god even england could go on a run with harry kane up front its possible.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Amazon.com still resisting the use of BTC for payment? on: May 30, 2016, 03:14:52 PM
Is it a business reason? Or perhaps the complexity of bitcoin accounting creating potential issues?

What do you think?

They want more people using it i guess, they mainly just want solid trade vehicles so buyer and seller are happy.  They then take a cut, everyone wins.  I think we will see paypal full into bitcoin pretty soon.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with the Price Changes? on: May 30, 2016, 09:49:55 AM
With the spike in price in BTC recently, do you gamble more or less during this time? I'm assuming people probably buy less and deposit, but what about the amount that's already in your account?

Nothing much changes with the price change, its only up not even 20% atm.  The bitcoin market takes months to adapt.  Its great news for sites who gain higher stake games by default.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Summer 2016 Transfer Season on: May 30, 2016, 09:47:54 AM
My lets call them "predictions"

Zlatan to United
Pogba to Chelsea or R.Madrid
J.Stones to United or Barca

Mane and Lukaku will definitely leave Southampton and Everton respectively

Zlatan to united 100%. J.Stone also to united, barca would be a interesting one though, he is kinda like pique.

Mane is going somewhere for sure, seems to put in little effort in the 2nd half of the season, usually a sign a player doesn't want injury due to transfer.
