I found data about traffic on some more popular Poker sites, here it is:
Poker Stars Current traffic - 13,860 Seven day average - 20,500
and then we have real abyss:
888 Poker Current traffic - 1,796 Seven day average - 2,600
Titan Poker Current traffic - 1,006 Seven day average - 2,200
Party Poke Current traffic - 785 Seven day average - 1,600
According to this traffic stats Pokerstars domination is overwhelming...
Yeah from pokerscout right, i just took a look and there dominance has increased over the years its scary. There is no way to break this monopoly until something changes in some other area like technology or something completely different. |

The hardest part of this project will be to transition people from Pokerstars, which also means people will have to transition from fiat to Bitcoin.
Although if I understand well, people will still be able to use fiat to fund their hobby.
Again, getting the coding work done is only the tip of the iceberg, it will take much more to get a decent user base.
Its much easier getting the poker community into bitcoin then it is getting the poker community away from pokerstars and any other sites. Poker players go were the good games are at. Using bitcoin wont matter much to them its just like exchanging to casino chips. Generally poker players online are smarter than average and understand computers better than average. |

WPN is a bitcoin site? im not sure atm, anyway good to see some competition to pokerstars.
I finally SNGed all my VPP/starscoins points after late last night so ive quit forever. I do have 1 satalite to play though, then im done.
I am not 100% sure if all WPN skins allow Bitcoins, but Americas Cardroom & BlackChipPoker for sure. Thats very cool i see they having growing numbers, what we need is bitcoin games in bitcoin im guessing they cant do that if other sites on the network have fiat. |

Just a small update for you guys. PokerStars, the biggest online casino on the market, drastically worsened their VIP system for 2016!  Your hard earned VIP status will be worth 30% less in the next year. This will mean: I have a ton of fpps/stars coin whatever they want to call it right now to SNG convert before the end of this year, should be fun. Should imagine the games will be great for next few days. We need to end the pokerstars monopoly. What we need is another poker site that has some volume on it. Pokerstars doesn't have enough competition so they get away with whatever they want. The WPN is growing quickly....it'd be nice if stars pushed their customer base to a more generous network like the Winning Poker Network! Im actually not familiar with the WPN yet, you know that stars will fight to keep their monopoly though, they are a great business but it will be the same as ebay. Ebay wont give up their monopoly and the customer overall has lost out seller or buyer. Pokerstars are now bad for poker really. WPN is definitely worth a try. Their VIP system is an exact PokerStars copy. You can choose between the VIP system or a 27% flat rakeback deal. VIP system is even calculated on the "dealt rake" method. Software is really nice, they have a nice rake race for SNG players/cash game players and traffic is good too at US peak times. My guess is there will be a huge traffic boost in the near future. It would be beneficial if you play wise, otherwise it would make you loss if you play greedy
I strongly agree . do not use greed in gambling. When someone does experience a big win just like me, sometimes I become confident about the chances of winning again. But in the end nothing change. Yeah its like when people think something is safe thats when it can be at its most unsafe and when people think something is unsafe thats when everyone pays attentions and it can be safe. Cant remember what the theory is called. Anyway math is objective and nothing really changes. |

I spoke to live chat, there is an issue with withdrawing your advanced payments it seems. who is getting the same problem as me? you click to withdraw the balance and it does nothing, wont go into pending even. I have the funds in account.
Some people saying they dont even have funds credited in account?
And we have someone saying they managed to withdraw.
Try to re-log few times,this might help. did about 7 times plus tried different browsers, something is fucked Same thing happened to me few days ago, i just contacted support and they said my account is locked due to security issues but they fixed it in few minutes and procceses my withdraw. Maybe you should try too ok i contacted them but i have used live chat, posted here, i PMed betcoin.tm yesterday. They should know of my issue by now. edit: hold on i think i might have sorted it, i needed to verify email, im now into pending with balance, will report back any problems from here edit 2: sorted its withdrawing, if you dont verfiy email you cant withdraw |

Hi, i see my payment is in my betcoin account and im very happy for that, i cant seem to withdraw it though or even get it into the pending withdraw bit. I'm a new poker player and I would like to know what is your best way to play pocket aces in poker.
In my small experience, most of the time when I played slow, I lost. And when I played aggressive, I won, but a small pot.
What are your opinions?
It depends, but in most cases you should try and inflate the pot and make other players pay since you have the better hand. There are scenarios where you should limp or flat call 3bets/4bets etc pre flop. Obvious examples... You might limp when in a hyper turbo SNG with only 7 bbs for example. You want to do whatever makes maximum EV basically. |

Another barrier to knowing is how do you define the richest? even primedice has several share holders, how do we know half of them aren't broke. I guess we define it as the site max payout bankroll. |

Duh, the risk is different.
Gambling is a 100% win or a 100% loss
With stock you got at least the chance to cover up some lose of your money. With some proper research you are 99% safe.
Gambling will never 100% guarantee win because the chance is different and there are still houseedge that you need to consider it. And I dont think there is 99% safe in any stocks or investments or whatever. Everything that you do will have risk to take, higher risk higher gain Thats where bankroll management comes in, if you can bet with an advantage and you do it over and over again the chances of long term winnings can = something crazy like 99.99999999999999%. |

what do you want to play in gambling if is not about money?
Just hobby or just for fun? But you need money to gamble or play it and you expected to win..win..win and win more.
But if just about money then people wouldn't gamble at all since there are better ways to make money in life. It must be partly about making quick easy money and the fun of the actual games. Why else have different games? |
