Any news? Did you get your gridseeds mining?

nothing new about this coin  Angry

Nothing new about any coin in reality.

Dead coins are the best to mine solo Smiley

In general, yes. But where do you sell them or do you know any exchange for this coin?

King, are you already in touch with them?

Probably this coin can be merge-mined with HairyPussyCoin
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PesetaCoin][PTC] Wallet With FIAT & Payment GateWay now Online on: October 13, 2014, 10:59:23 PM
Newbie question:

My pool made payments. Got other coins which were sent the same time. Although my wallet is fully synced, I didn't receive any PTC coins.

The block explorer shows this

What exactly does that mean? My address has status "Not yet redeemed"

Nice pool, niceman  Smiley

Any plans on integrating merged mining? Would be cool to merge-mine Doge while mining other scrypt coins.

Where and how to suggest new coins to add?
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: October 13, 2014, 08:39:57 PM
Nautilus Explorer only returns a 500 Internal Server Error

Is there a site that shows what miner/pool generated new blocks, like this one for LTC?
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [Scrypt] Best MultiPool with profitability coin switch (check out the list!) on: October 13, 2014, 08:28:00 PM
Hamsterpool isn't bad, nice guys, friendly support but only few active miners.

I'd like to suggest Hash to Coins, a new scrypt multipool. They charge no fees (not even for withdrawals), provide a good selection of coins with auto switching (you can disable that if you wish) and have an easy to use backend.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Found Block for Pool0! on: October 13, 2014, 07:20:44 PM
Hi,

maybe a stupid question (I started mining a few weeks ago, so call me a newbie), but how can it be my miner (no matter if cgminer or bfgminer) states I found a block when the pool doesn't show it? Have noticed it several times, different coins, different pools.

Thanks in advance.

King, what about adding the coin to this site and contacting the merchants in order to accept LMR as payment option? Selling for i.e. 3 LMR looks better than for i.e. 0.00xxxxxx Doge

1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Advice on setting up a mining operation on: October 12, 2014, 09:36:54 PM
Have you looked into mining other scrypt based coins rather than just plain LTC?
Check http://poolpicker.eu/graph?algo=scrypt and you may see that mining on a scrypt multipool will probably be more profitable than just mining LTC directly.

You might want to consider a PPS pool or like he said, a multipool paying out in BTC, LTC or whatever. This way, your profit would increase vs. only LTC mining directly.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Coin Magi XMG miners? on: October 12, 2014, 06:23:05 PM
Yeah. The dev is trying to avoid GPU-rigs or farms jumping in, grabbing all the coins and dumping them at a bargain price on the markets.
If everyone would simply use his/her computers cpu to mine, there would be enough hashpower to secure the network.
Additionally the POS phase started, just let your existing coins generate new coins for you (additional hashpower).
I like the concept and mining it.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Please help with gridseed setup on: October 12, 2014, 06:18:52 PM
I got my GC3355 running with VCP USB drivers (Win7 64bit) and the following bfgminer (v4.7.0) bat-file command:

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o SERVER:PORT -u USER.NAME -p PASSWORD -d gridseed -S gridseed:all --set-device gridseed:clock=800 --no-submit-stale

Alternatively you could state each Gridseed separately with the Port ID, but I prefer this method.

Good luck, hope it works for you.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] HASH-TO-COINS on: October 12, 2014, 03:13:20 PM
I have been using hash-to-coins.com for about 30 days and here's why I like them:

1.  The interface is easy to use.  You just click which coins you want to mine for each individual worker (on one screen).  Or you can choose the auto-switch and let the math do the work.  I typically put it in auto-pilot at night and pick my own coins during the day.

2.  Your mined coins are not converted into LTC or BTC.  They stay in their native coin.  I like this because I enjoy trading them on Cryptsy, etc. in hopes of a higher return.  I've found to get a much better return (with a little work or fun) than just using a typical multi pool that automatically trades them for you -- many times at not the best price.

3.  There are no fees -- although I'm donating 2% right now.  I mean that is the least one could do to help pay for the pool operator's expenses?

4.  There are a wide variety of coins (with various difficulties) that are solid -- not rare obscure coins.  So it works well for those who have 90 mh/s miners and those that might be mining with just 1 mh/s.  I have several machines in all ranges - so I mine the hard coins with the A2's (90 mh/s) and the easier coins with my Zeusminers (10, 20, 40 mh/s).

5.  Payouts are pretty much automatic (if you want them to be).  You can manually withdrawal or set to pay to your wallet once you hit a certain threshold (on a coin by coin basis).

6.  The Pool operator is responsive.  I was having a problem with Lotto coin paying to Cryptsy and he provided a whole spreadsheet of every single withdrawal.  That was really nice.

7.  No down-time.  At least I have not experienced any myself.

8.  Good simple stats.  It will list all of the coins -- their difficulties, trading value from multiple exchanges, net hash, pool hash and their profit based on LTC.  This makes it easy to choose coins to mine at the right time.

I've tried a bunch of different pools for bitcoin mining and altcoin mining and I'm impressed with hash-to-coins.  There's nothing else like it.

At this point, I feel that if you are going to make any money - you need to mine something else besides LTC or BTC.  Their are so many other coins that trade at better prices for the same amount of hashing (if you are willing to trade them yourself).

Finally - this pool makes mining fun again.  I guess some people just want to run their machines and forget about them.  For me - I want to have some involvement and have some fun.

I'm not trying to be an affiliate and don't know the pool operator personally.  I have no real stake in this pool -- just wanted to provide an unbiased review of the pool and help the operator in some way (as I want it to be around for a while)!

I hope you have as much success with hash-to-coins.com and fun as I currently do.   Smiley

Perfect review, I agree in all points. Awesome pool. Some more low diff coins (for the same reasons as hdmediaservices wrote) and merge mining would be cool additions.

There is a member with a POS Coins thread, explaining POS basics and writing a journal (CrazyLoaf's CrazySteak(TM) High PoS Investment Journal), very interesting. I suggested having a look at XMG. Find his journal here
Well done.
Interesting piece he wrote.

Thanks. Yes, indeed. And I think Magi would be a good addition to his and his readers/followers portfolio.
