1081  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or stockmarket? on: February 01, 2015, 08:01:45 PM
personally i prefer stock market or forex market
because in cryptomarket you don't know when a coin dead and you lost all your money
You don't know either when a company goes bankrupt and you lose all your money.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: A huge storm is coming on: February 01, 2015, 08:00:50 PM
This topic is fascinating. Enjoying seeing all the news coming in about all the EU countries, etc. Any thoughts on the USD?  I haven't scrolled up yet, but if  this was already discussed, please disregard.

USD will be good for a while, they are the money makers for all we know.
But EU, and the smaller countries will be in big trouble.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss Twins Aim to Take Bitcoin Mainstream With a Regulated Exchange on: February 01, 2015, 07:44:26 PM
Those guys are still trying to figure out how to unload their Bitcoins. They own enough that they'd crash any existing exchange if they sold. Their proposed ETF scheme was a dump. Their exchange scheme is probably a dump, too.

They would have done better if they'd just been selling steadily all year.
That what all stocks are. Nothing new except Bitcoin doesn't have Wall Street to dump them on...yet.

Well not technically but we have the equivalent of Bitcoin wall street walles: early adopters. These dumb lucky cunts can dump on us anytime they want and crash it.
Weak hands have been saying that exact thing since the 1000x run up to one dollar. They will be saying that when price reaches $10k.

I cant wait to see what the hell they come up with after we reach ATH again. It will be historical to see Peter Schift and the rest of clueless old people having to admit they are wrong.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: February 01, 2015, 07:40:39 PM
To be honest, I didn't get into bitcoin to make money per say, I got into it to support a decentralized network. Making money doesn't have to mean selling your bitcoin for fiat. That would make you just like any other dumper. A bitcoin with high value is what its all about, not just about exchanging for fiat. Hence why all those people who used bitcoin for drugs, women etc have lost all their money. If I mined 1000 bitcoin prior to the 1000 bubble, I probably would have sold 20 btc to make a good wad to get my self some new gear for mining. People wishing they sold their bitcoin, that wouldn't have been me. I'm just wishing I had a little more bitcoin I could spend/use. I know someone who is very bitcoin wealthy. He made nearly 5k bitcoin mining when it first started. He still has nearly 5k worth with no intention to sell.

Well said. Sadly I think you're in the minority with these opinions. I also got into bitcoin because I loved the idea, but I also do see the potential to make some money from it but this is not guaranteed, but I'm still a big fan behind the concept and the political ramifications of bitcoin and what it can achieve. I'm in it for the long haul regardless pf price.
Regardless how much you love the technology and whatnot, there's nothing wrong in admiting you are here for the gains too, be gains in fiat or in btc, its all about purchasing power. Working fucking sucks and being rich is awesome, i want to be rich and i hate myself for not buying Bitcoin earlier, there will never be another opportunity like that during our lifetimes.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kim Dotcom on twitter: Watch the banking system go down in flames. #Bitcoin on: February 01, 2015, 07:37:11 PM
Just curios: Did Kim Dotcom ever confirm if he is or isn't related or involved within the MEGACoin thing? The MEGAcoin looks like mega's style webpage and all.
1086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible that 1 BTC be worth $2,000 by the end of 2015? on: January 29, 2015, 07:23:35 PM
With the new round of vc investments I think it's a possible thing now. Coinbase didn't use those at the best, but I'm sure they'll resolve their issues. Draper said he bought another 2000btc.
I think its all about 2016. 2015 may be a meh year then 2016 will be a "everyone wakes the fuck up" year and we have a second mega buy rally.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: $100 to $125 still possible? on: January 29, 2015, 07:21:52 PM
Buy pressure? LOL, look at the order books, the only thing happening with buy pressure is it's reducing by the minute.

With current economy you pretty much have a guarantee we'll see $100 rather sooner than later.
With current eceonomy you pretty much have a guarantee we'll see $10000 rather sooner than later. Wait for EUR to crash hard and watch people start getting scared of leaving money no their banks and searchginf for alternative ways to store wealth. Look at Greece, its the begining.
1088  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New police radars can 'see' inside homes on: January 29, 2015, 07:18:30 PM
They could do something useful for once and release see-through-girls-clothes x-ray glasses. Then maybe I would support that.
1089  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: January 29, 2015, 07:17:09 PM
Islam doesn't hate people, the problem is the extremists. Then again, every muslim is a potential extremist, you never know. But you could say the same about everyone. "Every person is a potential robber/murderer/whatever".
1090  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a programmer to make/copy a ponzi site. on: January 29, 2015, 07:00:16 PM

1092  Other / Off-topic / Re: Me, at 19-years-old. on: January 28, 2015, 04:32:46 PM

1093  Economy / Economics / Re: World War 3 has already begun, but it's an economic war, not a conventional one. on: January 28, 2015, 04:30:49 PM
The problem is it can escalate quickly. What it begins as a virtual war of currencies, can have disastrous real life results.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: Best website to give out loans? Btcjam or ? on: January 28, 2015, 04:26:53 PM
I have been considering entering BTCJam for an investment for a year or so now, afaik they are chinese... i just dont know if i can trust btc related businesses yet, so many people scamming and getting away with it because no one cares since thats a downside of not having big regulations.

Jam is Brazilian. Where did you get Chinese from? It is scam heavy though. I'd say sometimes 70% scams, 30% not.

70% scam?

Who is bigger risk of being scammed, the loaner or the guy that asks for the loan?
1095  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Any BTC PTC (PaidToClick) out there? on: January 28, 2015, 04:18:30 PM
Are there any sites like this that are actually profitable???
None of the faucets are really profitable unless you hit a big jackpot like that faucet offering 0.4 randomly.. but i'd rather go to luckybit and gamble.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Foundation members are resigning! on: January 28, 2015, 04:12:25 PM
if you don't like the rotten and centralised foundation join the distributed, legitimate one here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=934517.0
What do you think about the gemini winklevi exchange being centralized as hell but being praised as the saviour of bitcoin? is centralization good or bad for bitcoin?
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taylor Swift Twitter and Instagram Hacked: Private Photos For !Bitcoin! on: January 28, 2015, 04:01:40 PM
Ha... to be honest, I don't care about Taylor Swift. I literally don't care at all, actually. So you can just go ahead and keep those pictures and I am going to keep my BTC. Actually I barely know how she even looks...
We can have both. Soon the pics will leak, and we will have the pics and our BTC, because someone always pays for naked pics specially of famous girls, ALWAYS.
Not that Taylor Swift is hot tho, she resembles an pale ironing table.
1098  Economy / Speculation / Re: I PANICKED on: January 28, 2015, 01:41:06 AM
OP and crazy investors, hold! its time to have balls of steel. Think of he gains, its happening, bitcoin is resilent as a terminator and will not go down.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Declining Bitcoin market cap dominance on: January 28, 2015, 01:29:31 AM
Is username for real? You write like a bot, plus it doesnt make sense, Eamorr is completely right. Distribute everything equally, then after a while those that are more genetically gifted/lucky will be above the rest and create new monopolies.
Might as well have our beloved friend satoshi as the rothchild (in terms of wealth) of bitcoin.

Your deficiencies do not dictate the general intelligibility of a statement.

The deficiencies of Bitcoin are not strong enough for any other alt(shit)coin to replace it anytime soon(ever).
1100  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or stockmarket? on: January 28, 2015, 01:11:20 AM
Well you also can count on stocks like CocaCola, Apple or Microsoft to continue gaining strenght over years.

Why would you assume that? What percentage of fortune 500 companies maintain dominance today vs 50 years ago?

Most People would laugh at you if you suggested Kodak would need to file for bankruptcy 20 years ago.
Look how quickly history has unfolded though and how a small finish company out of nowhere was able to outsell cameras within 1 year.
Yup, but we are talking at least 10 years in time and monopolies of CocaCola as king of drinks and Apple and Microsoft as king of computers have 0, 0, absolutely 0 real competence. Pepsi? Linux? Lol, not gonna happen. These are safe.
