if no exchange in there sending BTC is useless
Not if they can spend it there as currency. If the people from Somalia agree that bitcoin is their currency then they can, it just sucks internet access is a luxury there. The people there are too illiterate. I dont see how they'll get their heads around the concept of bitcoin anytime soon.

Make of this what you will.• By 2016, the top 1% of the world’s population will have more wealth than the other 99% • 80 richest people on the planet have the same wealth as the poorest 50% (3.5 billion) • The poorest 80% own just 5.5% of the world's wealth • The richest 80 doubled their worth in cash terms between 2009 and 2014 • More than a third of the 1,645 billionaires listed by Forbes inherited some or all of their riches • Britain’s 100 richest had the same wealth as 30% of UK households • The financial sector contributed $571 million to various campaigns during 2012 U.S. presidential elections • In 2013, financial and insurance lobbies gave $550 million to policymakers in Washington and Brussels ps: Before anyone blindly starts proselytizing about Bitoin, keep in mind the same pattern has/is emerging in crypto as well. Less it be forgotten, the top 100 addresses own 20% (2,875,298 BTCs) of all BTCs mined thus far (13,736,250, as of block #339,450). This is a very big problem indeed, but bitcoin won't resolve it at all. but it may help in some way for sure, by spreading it in the right way, some poor people would have a better living, if they took the bitcoin train Most people cant take the Bitcoin train because they dont have the money and resources to risk on it anyway. And to pick a good spot in the train to become rich, you need a lot of money to buy at least 100 coins. Well I personally know people, who only started with the clothing on their backs and through hard work are millionaires today. Money gives you the edge, but it's not the alpha and omega to becoming rich in Bitcoin or any other currency. I will respect you more, if you become successful, from starting with faucets. It's impossible to become rich from faucets unless you have tremendous amounts of luck. Yes LUCK. Because there isn't enough time to become a millonaire if you start from the bottom. To defeat that time/gains balance, you need luck. An insane investment like buying tons of cheap AUR and selling at the top at 0.1, or a lucky bet in a coin casino.

All hope is now on the finances minister Varoufakis, if he can't solve this situation he promised that he would retire from politics.

Just buy Monero. It will be real cash and a nightmare trying to legalize it. At the same time, if we want a coin to be 100% mainstream success i think regularization is unavoidable.

Merkel can kick Greece out of the Euro, not Spain, but Greece? for sure, its not that important, same for the other low tier countries.
It's not Merkel that would do that. At least not officially. Then, there are no mechanisms to actually do it. And Spain is a large country with close to 50 million people. Kicking it out would not be an option. Theres no other option. If Greece gov make a deal with Troika they will commit suicide with their own voters, if they do not do what Troika says, Greece has to go. Someone will lose big time. I don't believe Greece will get kicked out. They will just find a way to renegotiate the debt. The Troika and Germany have been under a lot of pressure to ease the austerity measures. Not only from other EU countries but from outside also. They know they can't keep it up forever. I thought they would kicked, but damn, Varufakis is alfa as fuck. He might as well get away with intimidating the Troika.

No need to withdraw on sites or to dispute post counts.
I love it
Same. All the other people running sig campaings should learn. Trying to get along with the campaing runners and all these silly rules they have (register here, play a bet here, post this here, count your own posts...) Fuck, might as well go to Mturk for that.

The problem is there are no jobs being paid with bitcoin, serious ones at least (sigs dont count lol). If there isn't bitcoin comming in with work, to get them you'll always need go to through fees and banks which defeats the purpose.

Yes, I'm in the US. Will any of these put the bitcoins directly in my wallet? I don't want to use paypal because I've been screwed by them before.
You have to give them your wallet address (the long string of random characters, begining by 1) Buy a very small quantity for testing purposes and see if it arrives good. Someone mentioned Virwox as a fast way to get BTC but the fees are shit.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin and Altcoin price related?
|
on: February 04, 2015, 01:22:21 AM

I don't think they're much related as there BTC owners like me who don't have any interest in any altcoins.
Well hero member you need to look abit harder lmao Well hes kinda right, alts aren't powerful enough to distort the bitcoin price, unless in rare occasion when something huge happens (like the insane AUR pump)
