1221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ███ Why Bitcoin Exists ███ on: October 20, 2014, 08:30:46 PM
Bitcoin could very well be a test version for an up and coming currency (global one) in the future. Why Russia is the only country not accepting BTC?
1222  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC to the MOON!! on: October 20, 2014, 08:02:47 PM
Lol. This is kinda dumb to post in the main forum. You could ask for help in the marketplace forum.
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: October 20, 2014, 06:44:06 PM
As I cannot really mine BTC, I get BTC from where I can and I use those quite small amounts to buy altcoins.
Unfortunately I missed the BTC train, but maybe I get lucky with those ^^.. Does this count?

It doesn't. Using BTC = buying actual stuff, not other cryptos.
1224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebola's affect on Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2014, 06:13:55 PM
I don't think Bitcoin will become infected by ebola.
lol

on a serious note tho, it is memorable when the technology of Bitcoin actually serves a good purpose and can provide resources without the shitty bureocracy:

1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How IT people waste their time to making BTC sites, who do not have users on: October 20, 2014, 05:54:35 PM
It's not a demand NOW, in the future who knows? Thats why you register and make good sites now, before the crypto craze starts and everyone wants to get in.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin Andresen Proposes Bitcoin Hard Fork to Address Network Scalability on: October 20, 2014, 04:34:18 PM
Will this cause any disruptions to existing Joe users coins or transactions?
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity tips on: October 20, 2014, 03:34:07 PM
Just get some free proxy, there are lots. I use them to browse the internet at college, most websites are blocked for some reason.
1228  Other / Meta / Re: hacked account still banned. on: October 20, 2014, 03:10:09 PM
I've gotten strange emails before, specially "newsletter type" emails. I've decided to ignore all emails unless im really waiting for one.
1229  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Line of Death on: October 12, 2014, 11:12:40 PM
when it touches the line than will shoot up for good.

Im pretty certain we will never see double figures, and if we see double figures it will last secons. Im ready to go 50% BTC if it ever goes to double figures but so is a lot of people.
1230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price to hit 400 by 10/20/14 and never head back down on: October 12, 2014, 10:59:32 PM
I also have a lot of insider info I can't say here.  Huh

You have a lot of insider info.. with that nickname it doesnt sound very serious to me.
1231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin down then up? on: October 12, 2014, 06:27:15 PM
It doesn't matter how much people hold something if there isn't a demand for it. Demand is everything.
1232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to earn some quick btc on: October 12, 2014, 06:18:31 PM
Are there ANY real jobs where you get pay decent incomes in BTC? all these signature campaings and faucets seem all a joke to me. A real currency needs real jobs with real salaries..
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MOANERO SLUMPS UNDER 1$ - Get out while you can! on: October 06, 2014, 02:49:20 PM
This is just due to BTC price. The pother coins are tied to BTC at the moment, and when BTC moves big they freeze up momentarily as traders try to figure out the impact.

No, it's due to the recent Monero FUD, and Monero simply cannot maintain its high level of buy support any more to keep the price up. It's not that everyone's dumping, it's that nobody's buying. If no one's buying and Monero is still being mined, then there's too much downward pressure and very little upward pressure.

How, in that sense, do you think Monero will recover?

We need people to use Monero, thats the fundamental pillar of a coin' success. Why should people buy Monero? what does it do that other coins can't? Something has to solve problems to be valued or at least be seen as something cool (Justin Bieber doesn't solve shit, yet it is a money making machine). So good tech and good marketing wins. Maybe when we are knee deep in police state and everything we do is monitored, the real usefulness of Monero will be seen and it will skyrocket, because then you'll see why you want anon transactions.
1234  Other / Meta / Re: Searching too quickly on this site? on: October 06, 2014, 02:14:36 PM
Searching too quickly??  Seriously??

Can we cut that down to a reasonable level? Huh  And I can't post a image?

When you are new, I think it told me to wait 360 seconds to post and to do about anything. I don't know when does that end but I don't suffer from that anymore. Luckly because its a pain in the ass.
1235  Economy / Speculation / Re: 199 in the morning on: October 06, 2014, 01:57:45 PM
Me and a lot here have been saying it nonstop: BTC will hit on the floor lower than any of the regular posters here ever wanted to recognize.. no doubt it will sky rocket again eventually (or go up in a smooth way), it will go up anyway, but there is going to be a big fucking crash and a lot of Bitcoin ritchies of the early days are going to give their Bitcoins to newcomers that are willing to invest. A much needed redistribution of coins.
1236  Economy / Speculation / Re: 25k btc's are about to be dumped on just bitstamp on: October 06, 2014, 01:40:56 PM
How long do you think it will take to eat through the wall?

seller is hoping never, hoping he will cause a panic sell off

This. Do you think you if had 25 BTCS you would sell at the SAME price creating a ridiculous wall? this is all manipulation.
1237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will plummet to $10 by first half of 2014 on: October 06, 2014, 01:31:50 PM
Even knowing all the problems Bitcoin is facing and he is going to face, and even knowing it's very difficult for common folk to own Bitcoin.. he's not just being stubborn. He's losing the little credibility he has. He should just admit his mistake and admit that nothing like Bitcoin has appeared till today which would question Economy's theories.
I think some of these economists and Finance people are kind of like Butthurt because they were not the ones coming up with Bitcoin, solving some economic and finance problems.
So they are acting like "Know it all" people that dismiss Bitcoin as Nerd's money. Kind of like those who dismissed the internet, MP3, P2P, Facebook, you name it.
1238  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will bring BTC price back up? on: October 06, 2014, 12:45:54 PM
When merchants in eBay are actually able to use BTC to recieve payments. Then maybe people starts getting aware of what Bitcoin is and start using it, provided it has real benefits against good ol fiat.
1239  Economy / Economics / Re: IT'S OFFICIAL: Paypal/eBay ACCEPTING Bitcoin! on: October 06, 2014, 12:24:14 PM

Everyone is rambling about Paypal/eBay accepting Bitcoin for months now, while im yet to see a way to accept Bitcoin in my business which is run in Paypal. When we will be actually able to use it?
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we love the rich and hate the poor on: October 06, 2014, 12:11:44 PM
Because poor people want your money and you are naive enough to think rich people aren't greedy cunts.

Everyone wants money, both rich and the poor, and its never enough.
Make a poor man rich, and its most likely , he'll also want more.
The more u have, the more u crave for it.

Yeah, so how does that refute his argument anyway. Poor people think they are going to get money by being nice to rich people. Poor people hate each other because they are competing to do favors for rich people. It's a sad reality we live in.
