361  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 18, 2015, 04:19:38 PM
For long term investment purpose I will surely go with gold because surely gold prices will go up over the time but its prices moves very slow. And also I buy BTC but not for long term because btc do not have any solid foundation that high prices may survive for long term so I usually buy at low and sell when I make some profits. Btc is good for making profits from trading instead invest and wait for long time.

That is good think to go with gold for long term investments because btc price no one can predict what will happen after few years.
So do you think gold price will up and never goes down, two year ago gold is coming strong and this years gold price drop 30-40%. i think still better bitcoin, you can take benefit because market is fast and active

I think people that think gold only goes up is delusional. The gold supply is not as scarce as people think.. and when technology increases, when we start sending mining machines into other planets and asteroids, we may discover a place that's full of gold. When that happens, a crash is guaranteed, because of bigger supply. On the other hand, Bitcoin will never suffer from that because it's just math.

Very good imagination. Never think in this way so you never buy gold until Mars Gold Come to market st cheap price.

You don't actually need to go to mars.. every X years we find new gold. People say "oh we are near exceeding earth's gold supply capacity", then we eventually find more and more gold... Bitcoin is the only thing that is exciting enough to invest long term knowing you can become really rich from it because it's not properly valued and understood by the masses yet. Gold is a boring asset to hold.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: Google Ad Revenue on: November 18, 2015, 04:16:54 PM
Last month I made 300 USD from blogs. It was a good month for me

Actually some people make few hundred dollars regularly from Adsense. It is good if one have a good blogs or sites and can get search engine traffic then one can make very good money from adsense. I used have a couple of moves blogs and made very good money but now no time and sites went down in google search engine.

I don't have any idea about google search engine, but i advertise my web on forums and bump that one time per week.. Last month will be worst for me because probably i will get only $50 - $100, but since seven months i always have around $200 - $300
Without any experience.. I don't even know how work google analytics Wink

So please tell me if there is some better advertise service than AdSense..?

I think AdSense is what pays better. If you don't use AdSense, you need a lot more traffic to get a similar result. My problem with AdSense is they are total jerks about the TOS and if you break it it's over. Sometimes you are breaking it and don't even know you are infringing some stupid copyright law.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Banking Industry kill Bitcoin and keep the Blockchain? on: November 18, 2015, 04:14:58 PM
The banking industry can't do nothing about Bitcoin. Think about it. If Bitcoin "died" (will not happen) then cryptocurrency dies too. Crypto = Bitcoin. It's like that. Everyone associates Bitcoin with cryptocurrency. If Bitcoin fails, the whole crypto industry fails. If Bitcoin does good, the whole crypto industry benefits from it.

I beg to differ... If Bitcoin dies... Crypto currencies will fight for the top spot and they will bend the knee to the will of any government or bank. It's all about the money and the

power. Bitcoin dies .... Government friendly coins steps in and replace it. The only thing keeping Bitcoin alive at this moment is it's decentralized network. This network are under

constant attack from trolls and shills trying to divide the development and progress. The banking sector are already working on several replacements and you will see some more

aggressive attacks coming, when they are done with these projects.     Sad

Yep the replacements will be absolute closed source trash, thats why it's very important for Bitcoin to remain open source and decentralized. And no I don't think the banking industry can do anything about it, even if they get the govs to pass a million laws, Bitcoin will always survive, there will always be nodes out there and there will always be people benefiting from mining somewhere around the planet.
364  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fiat funded world war 1 and 2 hundreds of millions died Ban Fiat !!!!!! on: November 18, 2015, 04:12:21 PM
Fiat will be banned, when banks and governments replace it with a Blockchain based private ledger they can control and manipulate, like they doing with fiat currencies now. In time

Bitcoin will either be banned or over-regulated in such a manner that it would become simply impossible to use it, without linking your full identity to it. They will do that, when they

want to push these private ledgers being created now. Fiat will go down, and it will be replaced by a greater evil.  Angry

Indeed, this is a really likely scenario to happen, that's why we must keep bitcoin decentralized over everything, and this involves being able to run nodes with a single computer, and big blocks aren't friendly with that. Bitcoin will be our only salvation in the Orwellian private blockchain future that awaits us.

They haven't presented any evidence that the terrorist were founded with Bitcoin, but I think they didn't really claim it, they just speculated with the idea, just to get some clickbait headlines for their website and whatnot. It's a business after all.
366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Paris Attacks will Affect Digital currencies in Europe on: November 18, 2015, 04:03:09 PM
http://www.bitcoinfuturesguide.com/bitcoin-blog/us-fincen-director-bitcoin-does-not-pose-higher-risk-of-terror-financing

Well I just saw this.

I don't think they will do anything about it, at least for now... Also before they get worried with Bitcoin they should ban cash. There were billions of dollars stolen for terrorism found in some bunker in

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/12/world/investigation-into-missing-iraqi-cash-ended-in-lebanon-bunker.html?_r=0

Bitcoin is not even 5 billion at current price.

Yes. But it can turn out to be an event that they can use to say that bitcoin is a potential method of anonymous terrorism financing... I guess the problem will be this.

They just use whatever they can to drop negative press on Bitcoin and make it look shady. I really doubt the terrorists are computer knowledgeable enough to correctly operate with Bitcoin, with fiat is way easier so they will keep dealing with it as long as they can. Of course its easier to transport value with Bitcoin but I dont think they know how to. Sadly I think this will eventually change and BTC will be used for that because BTC is not going anywhere, it will just keep getting more robust and more anonymity workarounds will arise, but with great technological innovations you always have to deal with this tradeoff.
367  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Leroy Fodor's StakeMiners funding ISIS? on: November 18, 2015, 03:59:15 PM
I have no idea who this is so I will not comment on it, but I find interesting that some people find it unfathomable that there are really crazy lunatics out there whose brains have been brainwashed with religion at the most dangerous levels and will do that kind of stuff. Why does it all have to be a false flag? sure the gov does stuff like that, but every time? cmon.
368  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do with BITCOIN ? on: November 18, 2015, 03:53:49 PM
What you do with BTC

Where you spend?

Where you sell BTC ?

Where you buy BTC ?

I only sell BTC when I think it is overvalued or if I'm going to buy something on Amazon through Purse.

I sell BTC through an exchange.

I buy it through the same exchange I sell.  I have accounts on multiple exchanges though for speculating and arbitrage.

I have started thinking about shorting Bitcoin when I feel its overvalued, the problem is knowing when it's really overvalued... in November 13, I thought 500 "was it". "This can't hold for longer, it's going to crash". And it went to 1.2K. This November with the 500 rally I thought, well, why should I think it's overvalued? It could perfectly continue going up. Therefore there is no way to know if it's overvalued. What I know is its insanely undervalued long term thats why I just buy and hold.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: November 16, 2015, 07:46:48 PM
Buying real state is a mistake unless you have a steady source of income to pay the expenses. So if you for example inherit a house from your parents or something, then I would buy another house and rent it and live on my old house (unfortunately if you buy a better house and you live on it, you will not be able to make as much money from it because the old house will be valued less)

Also taxes. I have no idea how much tax one would need to pay. Even if you buy it directly with Bitcoin, the IRS will know you bought a house, you can't get away from the goverment when it comes to real state because you may be able to hide something you bought with Bitcoin but good luck trying to hide a house from it.
370  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: November 16, 2015, 07:40:28 PM
USD is posed to continue its gain.

What gains? gaining debt? Cheesy

www.usdebtclock.com

Because it's the only thing that's going up, debt. The value of dollar going up due scammy intervention by the state which is all artificial means absolutely nothing in the long term to correct the devastating trend.
371  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm dying while waiting bank transfer... on: November 16, 2015, 07:39:13 PM
I just cant wait for the day where Bitcoin is globally accepted by everyone and I can forget about dealing with banks. I am so pissed off at banks too since I discovered Bitcoins. Everytime something happens I have to not only call but go there in person because they don't trust you and ask for IRL credentials.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: What plans do you have for your BTC stash? on: November 16, 2015, 07:20:02 PM
Im going to buy 2,100 BTC, so in the future, i have the knowledge that I own 0.1% of all the bitcoin in existence.

After that, I'm going to hodl until bitcoin hits $2100 and sell 21 BTC every 21 days at exactly $2100. Cheesy
That is a lot of money to invest at, if you can afford 2100 BTC you are already rich.

BTC will be way higher than $2100 in the future, 4 figures are nothing at all, once we break 1K again, we will not stop at 2K for long.
373  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: November 16, 2015, 07:11:27 PM
I have more than 1BTC although I have also been spending a lot lately ( 10BTC ) on a new computer.

Wow that is a lot of BTC, that computer must be like an alienware or something. In 10 years you may regret spending that much on a computer tho.. I think it's better to be frugal with BTC but maybe you have so many that 10 is nothing for you.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday - Episode 4: A New Hope on: November 16, 2015, 07:04:18 PM
I am doing everything I can to not give in to temptations of buying anything with my Bitcoin until I feel happy with my stash. If the offer is good enough I may reconsider this tho... but not until merchants stop dumping it for fiat.
375  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Are there any plans to release Core 0.10.4? on: November 16, 2015, 07:00:51 PM
Why? If a system runs 0.10, it can also run 0.11. I didn't even understand why was 0.10.3 released when we had 0.11 since July. Devs need to focus on updating the most recent version...
I also don't understand yet why this is the case, it's like they are developing 0.10 and 0.11 on the side. Why would you update something that is old? there must be a reasonable explanation because it feels pretty stupid to do so, and there shouldn't be any backwards compatibility thing.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 16, 2015, 06:59:08 PM
Which one are you Jbreher?  Were you able to hang on to some of your early purchased coins?  Do you have thousands of coins, as some of the posters here assume?

I believe that you are suggesting that your bitcoin holdings are much more modest than the assertion of "thousands."

Haha. I wish. I once had amassed 'almost thousands'. But I learned a hard lesson about greed -- both that of my fellow man, and of my own -- in the pirate@40 / Trendon Shavers / BTCST debacle. I was utterly wiped out in that one.

I've been able to accumulate a few more coins since. Enough that, in the case I believe to be the 80% scenario (bitcoin eventually becomes ubiquitous), by the time I reach retirement age*, I'll be able to do so in grand style. Of course, in that scenario, even a single full bitcoin will be vast riches.

*any young pups out there might note that I am already as old as dirt.

Do you think that a 30 year old will be able to retire in 10 years with about 20 BTC? I cannot stand a single day at work, too much stress, I just need more free time, I cannot develop my hobbies, I suffer from anxiety, please help me BTC Sad
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security risks with using Windows 10 on: November 16, 2015, 06:55:33 PM
Bwahahhahaa!!!

If you haven't figured it out by now:  don't use proprietary software ever again!!!!  Thank me later.

Yes that means any of these handcuff systems like windows or mac that are designed to make computers unusable.

Seriously, grace period is over.  Use a real general purpose computer -- today.
Yeah but the problem is if you work in the audiovisual industry.

All windows programs are simply superior... there isn't really any Sony Vegas substitute for linux unfortunately, same goes for Pro-Tools, so in that case you are stuck with Windows, no other way out.
378  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: November 04, 2015, 03:52:22 PM
Hi, it is great that it got resolved in a good way.

I don't understand what will happen with current term tho. Is the current term going to be paid in the old rate?
On what day does the new rate begin?
379  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 4̶5̶4̶$̶ 502$ on: November 04, 2015, 03:15:04 PM
Really nice OP, but you will run out of space if you keep putting predictions that get quickly crushed by new higher prices.
I think once we reach 1K again, everything is possible. Bitcoin will demonstrate to be able to recover from a terrible crash, this inside people's brain is a definitive signal of high trust. The psychology is "if it can recover, it can keep going up".
380  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Declared Illegal In Taiwan on: November 04, 2015, 02:58:44 PM
This is ironically always good news for Bitcoin. Everytime Bitcoin has been banned, we've seen more and more interested within people on that particular country, just look at Russia or China, they are becoming leaders in volume traded and will only keep increasing as their ridiculous governments keep screwing up with people's wallets.
