1823  Economy / Gambling / Re: OneHash || Dice & Sports Betting || No registration || on: September 28, 2018, 08:21:49 PM
hey , I noticed that I received the following email :
Quote
There hasn't been any activity on your account for 83 days.
If you remain inactive for another 7 days, you will be charged a maintenance fee.
As you know, the use of OneHash wallet is free of charge as long as the user remains active. Should a user become inactive (i.e. no mutual betting activity nor 'Live' section games activity in a period of at least 90 calendar days), a OneHash wallet maintenance fee shall be charged monthly in the amount of 0.005 BTC provided that the OneHash wallet balance is positive. Furthermore, once a user becomes inactive (same definition as above), all deposit bonus-related OneHash credits are taken away.

so I really don't get it , you really charge people money in case they are inactive ? and why to do so cause seriously you are the only site I know that does this
also I still don't get it , you deduct 5mbtc per month ? like if I have only 10K sats for example you will keep deducting btc monthly and once I decide to start playing again I have to pay you the 5mbtc for each month that I was away ?
1824  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker on blockchain and internet poker ban in USA on: September 28, 2018, 05:58:58 PM
If you didn't know the internet poker is banned in USA.
Now, can blockchain with its decentralization avoid these bans and can blockchain poker rooms operate in USA? Are there good operating blockchain poker room that accept USA players?

there are already sites that offer poker for US players like americascardroom , betonline , ignition ...etc
I don't know if blockchain has anything to do with the ban , the sites that already accept bitcoin also accept US players
so poker sites that takes bitcoin can already accept US players , but to be honest crypto poker is dead with very little volume so there is no point in even thinking about creating something new that mixes blockchain and poker
1825  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io - Now accepting Ethereum!⚽🏆 on: September 28, 2018, 12:13:23 PM
last time I asked in one of your twitch streams during world cup about if you are planning to add horse racing , and the chat mod said that yeah it's on the plans
so is there any progress with it or you haven't started preparing for it yet ?
would really love to see you adding races since only one site at the moment offers horse racing so another site would be really great

Hi SyGambler,

Yeah, the Horses have been pushed back a bit at this stage, but they are still in the plans for sure. Without knowing the exact date, Id probably has a guess at next year.

Im personally looking forward to the Horses ( and possible Greyhounds) as I love a bet on them myself. Ive actually been to a day at the Singapore track and those guys over there take betting seriously! I was a touch out of my depth to be honest, but it was good to see. Next on my list would have to be Sha-Tin, HKong on a Sunday afternoon.

Apologies for the delay, but I happy we have a 'coming later' rather than a 'No we can't get it'

Have a good afternoon,

Steve,
Sportsbet.io

oh glad that it's still on your plans , hope it won't take so long
it seems no single site in the bitcoin market is interested in offering races , there is only one site at the moment and it has no competitors so they aren't offering the greatest odds
hoping that sites will start considering races once you start having them , it seems bookies are afraid from adding horse racing since people can win big with it if they are good
1826  Economy / Gambling / Re: everybet.io, a new bitcoin-based sports betting website is now live! on: September 28, 2018, 12:08:05 PM
was going to check how your odds look like and if it's competitive with the other bitcoin sites or not , so hopefully you allow access for Syrians cause I won't risk it with VPN if a site doesn't accept my country

Odds aren't close to competitive. For EPL, seems to be around 5.6% for ML bets, Over/Under and Handicap bets. Compare with BetKing & BitcoinRush's margin of around 2%, or Nitrogen's of around 2.5%. There's literally zero reason to bet here, especially considering CryptoGamblingSites's findings.

thanks for the info mate , I couldn't check the site at all so couldn't check if they are good or not
anyways since the margin is already high for such popular competition like EPL then there is no point at all to risk it with a new site even if it allows people worldwide
1827  Economy / Gambling / Re: everybet.io, a new bitcoin-based sports betting website is now live! on: September 27, 2018, 10:22:24 PM
Hello all. So far, we do not see any errors on the website.

Unfortunately there are many reasons why we can not offer our services specific countries. That could be to do with local laws , license conditions from a supplier or a specific country could have banned gambling.

The full list can be seen here - https://everybet.io/en/amlpolicy under "Forbidden Countries".

Residents of the following countries are currently forbidden to use everybet.io: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Australia, Cambodia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Ecuador, Estonia, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, La Reunion, Laos PDR, Martinique, Myanmar, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sudan, Switzerland, Syria, UAE, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States of America, Yemen and Curacao

If your county is not seen in the list, but you are still unable to use the website in full, please let us know here, or contact us on support@everybet.io.

We apologize for any inconveniences caused by this.

oh wow , who did give you the list of these countries cause this totally doesn't make sense
first of all even most of the legit and regulated sites accept Syria since there is no rules at all regarding online gambling in Syria but I can tell about Arabic countries
all the laws regarding gambling are the same in Arab countries and yet you are not blocking them all , for example you seems to accept players from Jordan , Qatar , Bahrain , Libya , Morocco , Tunisia , Oman and Egypt

it just doesn't make sense to accept these countries and block the other Arab countries , I'm 100% sure rules are the same regarding online gambling so it's either not allowed or there are no rules against it in these countries

anyways good luck getting customers since you have such block list right after your launch
1828  Economy / Gambling / Re: everybet.io, a new bitcoin-based sports betting website is now live! on: September 27, 2018, 05:08:10 PM
What countries are allow? Can't view it even with a proxy from many different countries...

then for sure that's an error with the site , let's just wait for OP to come back and update us
1829  Economy / Gambling / Re: everybet.io, a new bitcoin-based sports betting website is now live! on: September 27, 2018, 04:51:57 PM

Seems like an error. I have the same problem

well it seems you were able to see the homepage at least , I'm not even getting this far
right after I enter the site link this error message appears  Grin
https://imgur.com/a/ufYrcHs

hoping this is an error , cause I have waited so long for a new site to launch
1830  Economy / Gambling / Re: VioPoker.com & Vio88.com Accept Bitcoin Now on: September 27, 2018, 04:43:25 PM
so it's a legit Indonesian site that started to take bitcoin ? will people who deposit bitcoin be allowed to wagered bitcoin or will the deposits be exchanged to other fiat currency ?
also is there some kind of KYC , I couldn't find TOS in the site so not sure if it's required

I'm interested in sportsbetting only and found that you offer SBO and ubobet , so in order to wager I have to open 2 accounts with you or is it just one and you show the best odds ?
I guess I still don't understand  how you offer 2 sites to bet with
1831  Economy / Gambling / Re: everybet.io, a new bitcoin-based sports betting website is now live! on: September 27, 2018, 04:34:22 PM
ouch , right after I clicked the link I found out that you don't take players from my country
is that an error or what ?? you are the first bitcoin casino that I know that don't take Syrians so something must be wrong

was going to check how your odds look like and if it's competitive with the other bitcoin sites or not , so hopefully you allow access for Syrians cause I won't risk it with VPN if a site doesn't accept my country
1832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Little Example How Matingale Doesn't Work Even In Sportsbetting and Trading on: September 27, 2018, 12:02:15 PM
the thing is it really doesn't worth it , why to risk your whole bankroll to chase winning back little amount that you lost previously
as I said martingale is a disaster , it makes even the good sportsbettor and trader lose money at some point
these losing streaks are unavoidable , so the only way is to have a good staking plan and keep betting regularly and if you have an edge then long run you will win without risking your whole bankroll
If it's for a short-term, I think it's okay; it can be worth it but not all the time. In a sense, it's true; it depends on the amount you have bet and towards the thought of having more and still winning. It is a disaster and scary to do but what it could do is save your previous bet. I agree with Hydrogen that it could be another way around, but I haven't tried that. Usually what I do is double my bet every time I lose then reset. It's something to be worried about when using a martingale, but overall, you are risking something when gambling. There's always pros and cons.

well yeah mate and I'm not talking about normal casino games like dice where you mathematically you will lose anyways
I'm talking about things that can generate you income if you are good , so if you are a successful sportsbettor or a good trader will you do your bets or trades only for few days ?
of course not since you are good you should be aiming to doing that as much as you can

and even in short term the bad variance may come at the very first try

so my point of this thread was just to prove than even if you are profitable with sportsbetting you will bust your whole bakroll with martinagle
as you can see the tipster I follow had a long losing period , but overall he is still profitable so imagine if he was martingaling how much money he would had lost
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Little Example How Matingale Doesn't Work Even In Sportsbetting and Trading on: September 27, 2018, 11:34:42 AM
I think it's a double-edged sword where you or the casino, in this case, the bookmaker, is at risk, of losing or winning. If you managed to try it, it's not always bad but having every bet losing? It's a low chance event, but it could happen still. As you said, it's a lesson that everyone should understand and not just try immediately. If someone is planning to do it, try doing a calculated martingale or somewhat modified to your liking, not only directly multiplying by two.

the thing is it really doesn't worth it , why to risk your whole bankroll to chase winning back little amount that you lost previously
as I said martingale is a disaster , it makes even the good sportsbettor and trader lose money at some point

1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: any good site to bet on snooker ? on: September 27, 2018, 11:28:02 AM
Most of the big sports betting sites take snooker bets. Depending on where you are located in the world, there's unibet, william hill, betfair, ladbrokes and many others.

no sadly I have no access to these fiat bookies , I have access to betfair exchange but it seems they only offer winner markets without betting on frames

I see snooker section at jetwin: https://www.jetwin.com/en-us/sports/snooker (current china champ. you can bet over/under and handicaps, deposits BTC, DASH, LTC)

totally forgot about jetwin , but opened now and saw that the margin is over 8% for snooker so the margin make it like impossible to profit long term with them

For crypto, I know Nitrogen Sports offers betting on snooker, but I've got no idea what the margin and such is on there. Seems like you can only bet on the winner there, though, and better alternatives with more bet options like handicaps and such likely only accept fiat.

Nitrogen uses pinnacle as odds provider , but they have higher margin and I already have access to pinnacle so it doesn't worth it betting there also as you stated they only offer winner markets and I want to bet on frames

2. Wait for 12 continuous losing spins for 8, 9, 11, 12 AND 26, 27, 29, 30 not to appear.

3. Then I start placing bets on 2 corners - 8, 9, 11, 12 corner and 26, 27, 29, 30.

this exactly what gambler's  fallacy is , and if that guy actually won then probably he didn't play long enough to see it fail ( must likely he just want to promote his book )
when I first saw the title I thought this guy discovered something that gave him an edge , like somehow he was able to analyze on what range of numbers the ball will land based on physics or something

but this is a typical example of gambler's fallacy , he is waiting for 12 losing bets on a row thinking that most likely the bets after will win like roulette has some kind of morals to bring a winner in case there were too many losers before  Smiley
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting events to bet on in September/October on: September 26, 2018, 06:19:19 PM
well to be honest I don't think it's good to ask people about events so you can bet , cause most of the times you end up betting on something that you have no idea about unless of course someone really experienced here told you the event and told you what to bet exactly
so not sure what's the point of people recommending events when you know nothing about events

in case you really want to gamble then follow one of the horse racing tipsters , there are races literally everyday so everyday will be an interesting day  Cheesy
1837  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice-Bet.com 🎲 0.7% House Edge | BTC, LTC, ETH | Play or Invest 🎲 on: September 26, 2018, 05:49:40 PM
grats on the launch , one of my friends recommended you and I just created my account
gonna move some coins and invest with you as well , BTW any chance you add some graphs for investments ?? I know the graph will show nothing now since the site is still new but for the coming months it would be really useful
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / any good site to bet on snooker ? on: September 26, 2018, 09:07:43 AM
so recently I was looking for a site to  bet on snooker
I saw both sportsbet and cloudbet offering what I'm looking for ( winner , frame handicap and over/under handicap ) but the margin there is so high making it almost impossible to profit
also saw that fairlay offers snooker but they have only winner market

so do you usually bet on any site that has reasonable margin ?? fiat sites are fine for me in case they take bitcoin
1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Juventus is Launching His Crypto Token on: September 25, 2018, 04:47:22 PM
well to be honest when I saw this topic in the gambling discussion I though that Juventus is gonna launch a casino or something , so can't see what this has to do with the gambling section
anyways I still don't get the point of this token , but I guess will we see on 2019

Have you ever played this? Is it a hoax?https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5033529.0

not sure why this site attracted your attention but anyways you should never risk it with a new site that has an owner who spams to advertise his site
there are literally tons of trusted alternatives for both playing and investing , so why bother with a new site with shady owner ?
