2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win on Horse Racing on: July 05, 2018, 09:02:34 PM
does this have a risk level? if yes how many % risk we may face? you can give me pm related twitter account that I should follow. because I am interested in this

of course there is risk and if you are not willing to take any risk then gambling and trading isn't for you
the thing in these that some people are able to profit them from them long term , but that doesn't mean that it's a risk free business
Every gambling I risky even if you gamble with very small money in your locality. I have never bet on horse racing but I heard that the net price is very high and only rich people can take part in such betting. Big gambling with high risks. No one can say that he will win the bet because everyone wants the same results. Horse betting doesn’t depend only luck.
I never really been into horse racing but i really find it hard to believe that it needs some sort of skill, because all you are doing is picking a horse that you think it is going to win and nothing else, it all depends on the luck, unlike other sports betting where picking the teams actually depends on how strong the players are, i mean if it was some sort of skill into it why is it not popular as the other ones or why rich people are only the ones that are always involved in it.

Clearly, there is not just a matter of choosing the horse you think will win... there is way more to this, and it does quite heavily rely on you having knowledge of the sport because its not just about the horse's skills its the combination of that and the rider too

I'm still new to horse racing but I know many good tipsters that are able to profit longterm from horse racing , so data is main part to choose the horse
while I don't still understand how to do that I can confirm that some punters are beating the hell out of bookies with horse racing and the returns are way more lucrative than the other types of sports

Pab sent me the data but still not able to understand it haha , guess will stick to my tipsters and then try to learn more about it after I finish my exams
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much bankroll do I need to start a dice site? on: July 05, 2018, 08:56:01 PM
How much BTC do I need as a bankroll to start a dice site? (Excluding development)

there is no perfect answer the more you have compared to the max win the safer you will be , but as devans stated 1% max win should be fine
it doesn't necessarily means that you should offer 0.5 BTC max profit , some sites offer lower than that like 0.1 or even lower

and you can of course run an investor based site when you basically take no risk at all but you will profit way less

URU v FRA - FRA WIN
BRA v BEL - BRA WIN
RUS v CRO - CRO WIN
ENG v SWE - ENG WIN
2164  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: July 05, 2018, 07:24:52 PM
Any problems or reviews?

I still don't get how these ratings work , like why Betcoin and Nitrogen are considered better than bitconrush while bitcoinrush has higher odds like all of the time
also you need to add Betking since it's also better than both Betcoin and Nitrgoen and with lower margin
2165  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - SPORTS BETTING for experts - highest liquidity, provably best odds on: July 05, 2018, 06:07:08 PM
is it me or fairlay don't have many odds. i mean always half of them is blank. is it the bots that doing the fast betting, making the option sold out? or something else?

I guess it depends on the game that you want to bet on , cause the games I play usually have good liquidity so can bet that without having a problem
but when I used to bet on horses with fairlay this used to happen a lot , some horses used to be blank since the liquidity wan't stable so some mbtcs going in and out
if that's the case you just need to keep an eye on the line and bet when the market is available
2166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: July 05, 2018, 06:01:04 PM
The worst bookmaker I ever seen! I’ve requested a withdraw last Friday and before to request it I verified my phone number with the sms code which I received!  ! After 4 days of waiting my withdraw request was rejected by someone of their team and I received a email where they asked me to verify my phone number 😂, but I don’t know why. I tried several times to verify it again but I didn’t received the sms code so I requested again new withdraw. 4 days since the second request I did not receive my money! Can you tell me what a bookmaker is it?

was your withdrawal big ? it may be just a technical error but personally never waited for over 2 hours to get my withdrawals with cloudbet but max I did was 0.2 BTC
have no idea about the phone verification tho , do they have it beside google 2FA ?
2167  Economy / Gambling / Re: >> BuySportsPicks.net | PROFESSIONAL SPORTS BETTING PREDICTIONS < on: July 05, 2018, 05:52:55 PM

guess it's better to not  count live picks for the results , most of people don't have time to keep up with live picks and mostly goes only pre live
or maybe do separate results , one for pre live and the other for live picks
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deposit Altcoins and withdraw bitcoin? on: July 04, 2018, 10:03:19 PM
Are there any sportsbooks that allow you to deposit ETH or Litecoin and withdraw in bitcoin?

Trying to figure out if any sites offer that with out having to withdraw/convert or trade, drawing fees in the process.

Not only sportsbooks but as far as I know none casino/dice will allow you it in reality. It will make doubts that you launder money and possibly won't let you to withdraw funds, your account will be blocked and they'll ask you to provide KYC documents (Know Your Customer) which includes ID scans and a lot. Also they aren't exchangers and their exchange fee will be much higher than others.

hmmm as I know you can deposit some alts to Betcoin and they will convert them to chips depending on the trading price , so you can deposit altcoins and they will credit your balance as btc then you can withdraw whatever coin they have after that
2169  Economy / Gambling / Re: MBET.IO RISK FREE FIRST BET. MORE THAN 100K RACES PER YEAR on: July 04, 2018, 07:32:48 PM

We have included radio for Australian horse racing as a trial.  We will have video for south american racing in very soon, with the USA not far behind.

EDIT:  Valparaiso has video in for the next meeting later today.

great , hope you add UK and IRE as well cause these what I only bet
btw can you add more sports as well or are you limited to the ones that you already offer , was thinking if you can add esports since no many sites offer it and it would be nice to bet with you on them

We will have main eSport events, like finals and some of the major LAN's but we keep clear of bedroom leagues.

We create all of our own pricing unlike the other bookies (when I say others I mean all other books in the crypto space) that buy in a feed from a third party data company.  So we tend to stick with markets that we have sufficient knowledge.  In saying that one of our traders is a pro eSports player and has pointed out to us that most books are taking down eSports markets rather than adding them.  With the roster shuffles as crazy as they are, we struggle to get solid data points.

oh thought you have some data providers , well that makes sense then why sometimes you have some good prices for some selections
I'm still new to esports so don't know much , but if you at least use a data provider for these then this may be awesome

I keep reading threads here about people betting on esports , they are more than the ones interested in horse racing here
2170  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ World Cup 2018 🏆 Free Bets, Price Boosts, Free Spins! 🎉 on: July 04, 2018, 06:42:58 PM

He said shoo away the player from claiming his profit and not shoo away players from betting.

If according to your theories, the only reason to have KYC is for legal reasons, then this is not what sportsbet is doing because otherwise they would need to do it in case of deposits as well. Wink

actually most of the fiat sites I know allow players to deposit then ask for KYC only when the players want to withdraw , at least that's my experience so all are the same
but still don't know why KYC in sportsbet only if players want to bet big , other sites have KYC no matter how big or small player's balance is

We have lowered our fees down to 200 bits.

how is your shop working out for you?

Good, sold one gift card so far.

Btw can you add steam gift cards to the shop ? cause these are the only I'm interested in buying since all the other services aren't available for my country
currently I'm buying with bitrefill , but will shift to MP if you add them

sorry but here you are totally wrong. this user is spot on!!!

this user created his account two months ago , made only 4 posts trolling and attacking moneypot and monsterbyte !! how can I take him seriously ?
unless he is posting some facts or posting if he was affected by moneypot loss then he doesn't add any thing useful

check out nessie exchange , it's a new exchange launched by monsterbyte https://www.nessie.io/info
also once it's added there you can add the coin to the gambling sites in moneypot.com , so people can trade there and gamble as well

would love to see BIS listed there

Thanks for the tip @SyGambler! We will take a look at the nessie exchange and contact them if they list custom blockchain.

Anyway I have a feeling that when people ask for new exchanges, they expect that that we hit a major one, one of the top 10.

Being a Python blockchain, can I develop applications in Python and also sync or use this blockchain in this application to be developed?

For this kind of question I think the best answer you'll get from one of the core devs.
For a faster (and complete) answer you can come to our Discord or you can wait a bit longer until I ask the devs since I am not a core dev.

yeah it's still new exchange , but listing the coin there will have benefits like people being able to play gambling games with BIS so it's not only about the exchange part

I would love to gamble some BIS there

guess the best thing to do is to post the plan now or later but not too late , like saying that you will giveback X% back to the investors from what MP or MB makes
the good thing is that you aren't denying that there are plans to pay the people , and can't see anyone else beside JPR speaking so can't tell what the original investors think

I wasn't an investor in moneypot but I'm an investor in MBI with more than 7K$ which I want to see going up not down , hope to see a good statement in the coming days like a full plan or something similar

I believe an announcement is coming shortly after stabilizing the exchange.  Right now the focus is the launch of Nessie.  Next is full Waves integration (which is semi-completed atm).  The waves integration sets up both MBI and for the investor compensation tokens to distribute.

Seems legit.  He'll get back to you after the unsuccessful launch of a new exchange.   Then, you will get your money back thats owed to you.
Does anyone believe a word that comes out of this liar's mouth?

looking at your post history it seems you just created this account to attack moneypot and monsterbyte , so unless you are saying something useful or you used to be an investor then nobody here cares !!

Good to see another betting site option. At first I thought this is all about animal racing only so I just bypassed this before. I am currently using sportsbet only so hopefully I can see better odds here.

Thanks for the feedback. If you haven't bet on horse or greyhound racing you should give it a try, its very engaging.  Keep an eye out in the near future we plan to offer streaming for some events.

actually if you can offer streams for the races only that would be great , cause I blindly follow punters and never seen a  race before lol
so that would be great or even just offering radio as you stated before , that would be good as well

I was able to get the spins early today and support responded to me earlier that I can benefit from the freebet as well
The free bet won since I had both teams to score last game , so thanks a lot sportsbet  Cheesy
