1  Other / Meta / Re: My account was stolen on: May 20, 2021, 07:36:15 PM
I am the legitimate owner of the account Razick.

1. It was legitimately given as collateral after a 0.16 BTC loan was defaulted on by the original owner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059435.msg20576006#msg20576006

2. The original owner is being intentionally deceptive by trying to trick the mods into thinking i asked to delete an old post from 2015 with their public key, because "hacking".

Yes, i beat around the bush as to why i asked the post to be removed. I wasn't being maliciously deceptive, i was simply trying to protect the account as i foresaw something like this potentially happening where the old owner would attempt to "recover" the account, claiming it had been hacked. "White lies"

Please recover my account back from that scammer.
In retrieving your account you need to show a clear proof that you are the real owner of the account.

A defaulted loan with proof of the transaction is clear enough proof. It's obvious the account is mine, but also obvious the admin &/ mods don't care, so nothing we can do. What goes around comes around.

Did you recover the skyline247 account recently? It seems like it belonged to an absolute shitposter from 2017-2020. It's really weird that the shitposter also controlled the Razick account. Your story doesn't make a whole lot of sense given that it appears your account was also recently recovered.

Did you see the proof that the account is mine, and think about how it felt last time somebody stole something from you?

Did you ask yourself why you are promoting theft, scams & other degenerative behavior on this forum while trying to act like a hero?

I guess these are the reasons why people stopped taking accounts as collateral, after all, an account is just an identity on the forum, and its "monetary" value exists only as long as there are the sig campaigns and bounties... It's useless else (for the account buyer). It's like giving bank my passport as security for loan Grin collaterals should be those whose value exist for as long as human beings live! A better move for you would have been, had you made the account seller sign a message with the same btc address which you told to remove and make him sign that "this account is being given as collateral and is *insert your name's*" then they couldn't even recover it with the staked address had they defaulted the loan.

Regardless of could have, should have, we have proof. The fact we have proof the account is mine negates that he signed the message.

The real question is, why doesn't a mod simply transfer ownership back? Or message the person recovers accounts.

Right, they successfully tricked the mods. What's your point?

I don't expect the mods to read every post to see if the account was used as collateral. All i'm asking is to get my account back.
Good luck recovering it minus the original email address.

Its within your legitimate right to ask mod to delete old posts from the account  because you  are the new owner of the account and to prevent future dreamers such as this you need to take the percussion which you did by trying to delete stake wallet for recovery.  If you channel your complaint to the mod I believe you should be able to reclaim the account back.
Or he should just create a thread in the reputations board showing that the original owner of the account defaulted a loan and therefore the account should be tagged because I don't think he will get the account back.

He's too stubborn to accept the fact, but time will tell.

Or you could keep ignoring the fact that the account is clearly mine, there is proof that it is mine, and therefore it should be returned to me.

Thanks. Emailed and they didn't give a clear answer. There is no debate about this - it is my account.

I think the answer was clear enough. Our aim is to always provide the accounts back to their original owners. So if a user goes through the recovery process successfully and proves that he is the account creator, the account is returned to them.

It's my account, it doesn't belong to the original owner, they tricked the mods. You have no point.

What does it matter?
It matters because while you were absent. He easily managed to recover the account minus any objection from you.

It was when i obtained it.
The time you obtained the account doesn't really matter. The recovery procedure is pretty much strict and one of the most important requirements is writing to them using an original email the account was used for registration.

It's been almost over a year since the TheRealRazick came here to claim ownership of the account. Where were you for all that long?

What does it matter?

As of today accounts are not considered as collateral which means you might be granted the rights of ownership of the account

It was when i obtained it.

The 1st step is to have your account back.

Here you go, follow this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0

Thanks. Emailed and they didn't give a clear answer. There is no debate about this - it is my account.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any successful bounty projects since 2018? on: October 01, 2019, 09:50:40 PM
maybe this wasn't about me project in 2018, but recently the project called chain link has been extremely successful. Has gained many percentage points in the past few months. While other coins all stagnate at the same price, chain link continues to rise at an exponential rate.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: October 01, 2019, 09:49:35 PM
what makes Bitcoin valuable is the inherent technology that it is developed with, call the blockchain. With blockchain technology, there are many revolutions that can take place. thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin, we have access to this beautiful technology. 11  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: October 01, 2019, 09:42:19 PM
I agree that fiat currency can be okay for a temporary time. However, all things come to an end and I replaced by better means. therefore, we should embrace Bitcoin and understand that it is the future and continue working with it instead of against it.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be going up rapidly this morning on: October 01, 2019, 09:40:03 PM

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt disappointment on: October 01, 2019, 09:37:22 PM
Bakkt only just started. Let's give them time to girl the infrastructure for trading cryptocurrencies, and hopefully it will proliferate into something much bigger as such that we hoped. Well even if it doesn't, then maybe it will eventually after some years. We should look at the long-term, instead of looking at the short-term. The future of Bitcoin is bright!
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a search term, ranked by countries. Nigeria, South Africa, Austria on: October 01, 2019, 09:35:03 PM
It is normal to see Nigeria on the top of this list. Bitcoin is legal in Nigeria. Nigeria government also has plans to adopt Blockchain technology and they are working on implementing Blockchain into governmental insurance and financial services.

could for governments around the world deciding to adopt Bitcoin. It's a smart move, and they will benefit greatly from doing so. Their economies will thrive, their citizens will become rich, and they will be much happier on an everyday basis.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future on: October 01, 2019, 09:32:57 PM

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: October 01, 2019, 09:31:20 PM
Every altcoin brings down Bitcoins dominance to some extent. It's inevitable, because their founders will promote their coin and some people will invest their money into that instead of Bitcoin. However, we must remember that the cryptocurrency space is still relatively unknown, so we must propagate it to all of the people and all coins are an important part of the infrastructure. Bitcoin is King and will always be king.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: October 01, 2019, 09:29:36 PM
all coins have been suffering a lot in the recent days, however there is still hope for them. We need all coins and Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency infrastructure to make it worldwide popular on a higher level on an everyday basis.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: October 01, 2019, 09:29:02 PM
You should invest your $1,000 into Bitcoin. After a few years, your BTC will be worth much more and you may even make it to the Moon.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look For In A Bounty Campaign on: October 01, 2019, 09:28:28 PM
the most important factor in dealing with bounty campaigns is that the founders and owners are transparent and open with the public about the project. If there shady and hiding behind the scenes, well it doesn't mean that it will be a scam, but it's much higher probability. Therefore do your research to invest your time wisely.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Propagating bitcoin among indigenous populace on: October 01, 2019, 09:26:25 PM
propagating Bitcoin amongst indigenous populations is a very difficult task indeed. The reason being, that it's hard when they do not have cell phones or smartphones to give them Bitcoin wallets. Also, there may be language barriers in dealing with such peoples. Therefore, much effort must be taken to ensure that they understand the blockchain technology.
