So I've been playing around with DeFi with a small bit of some of my old ETH and I went to "stake" some coins and the gas fee was over $2k. I canceled the transaction but I don't see ETH lasting much longer as it is. I've warned people away from ETH due to how overloaded it has all become and it appears that it is unusable at this point.
ETH is dead on arrival because of the centralized development and decisions to observe the cult of Vitalik. ... fortunately it has spawned some good experimentation and the baby DeFi is something to behold, all of which can be replicated on the bitcoin network's Rootstock sidechain, some fortunes will be made here for sure |

On a side note. GameStop is not going anywhere. Bankruptcy is off the table. They have 60 million plus shares in their treasury that they bought back in 2019 for <$5 a share. Even if they just sold a portion at the recent prices, they can fund their operations for years.
If they sell all of them, it wouldn't help the shorts. It would still be the most heavily shorted stock in the market and it would have 18 billion plus in the bank to become a tech giant. The cash value alone of the company would be $150+ a share.
