Can Trezor-Suite be directed to be connected only to a local (or specified) bitcoin (core) full node? Trezor seems quite intent on keeping connections back to the mothership locked down ... if you know what I mean. Edit: ooops, may have spoke too soon. I found this issue on github https://github.com/trezor/trezor-suite/issues/2737 ... seems like Bitcoin Full Node will be connecting to a Full Node is on the road map. Well done with the Tor support upgrade in Trezor Suite ... not sure about node.js as language choice. |

USA has 330,000,000 people about 200,000,000 are old enough to vote. https://www.highiqpro.com/iq-tests/what-does-my-iq-score-mean has the chart below  14% are at 70 to 85 34% are at 85 to 100 translation 48% are below average or 48% or 200 million = 96 million old enough to vote and affect America elections. So if passing an iq test was used and 100 was the pass we would reduce 200mill -96mill =104 million can vote. If people with a IQ under 100 weren't allowed to vote there wouldn't be any Dem. votes. Microstrategy is putting reserves into BTC precisely for these stated reasons, and they are the in the vanguard. Hyperbitcoinisation is now becoming a distinct possibility. I am a bit upset that gold is spiking too.

I cannot imagine a scenario where gold, stocks and bitcoin go up simultaneously, apart from high inflation.

The monetary base is expanding far beyond GDP usage so we have an economy with inflation likely to register but the actual event is deflationary in value terms. Then you have case for Bitcoin use itself both as an asset held, transactions globally and speculative trades and all of that is up recently I presume. Gold is just retracing its previous pricing, it was never going to fall below 1750 from what I could see as its been trading down for most of the last ten years it has entered recovery and is gaining year to year in a way thats seperate to BTC growth. If gold gains past its prices of September its probably doing something new then. Inverse to that Dollar index was at a range high its had for months and its now flipped to near to the bottom of that range, nothing new happening there for now. Its now about mid way in the 2017 Dollar fall peak to trough. I hope you're right and I'm wrong. I haven't made a huge research about the price. I just don't want to happen what happened back in 2017. Try convincing people to believe in bitcoin after that.

Coindesk article says the BTC was originally stolen from Silk Road by an unnamed hacker who handed over his keys to the authorities on Tuesday (presumably as part of some plea bargain?) ... quite likely the "unnamed hacker" will be one of the many federal agents working undercover on Silk Road who went rogue. ... there was so much malfeasance, agency illegalities and double-crossing going on there that most of the investigation evidence was inadmissible, except the corrupt Judge who was trying Ullbricht never allowed the full story of the rogue agents to see the light of day or the government case would have collapsed ... essentially they've probably just given it time to cool off and then handed the loot over to the biggest crooks in town |

Use whatever resources you have to build up the network and ecosystem, for some people that's leveraging cheap utility costs and creating mining farms, others that it is offering custody solutions or ETFs, etc etc. He doesn't see himself as being able to do these things better than others, so he sticks with what he has the most efficiency at doing - a vocal shout of "HODL!" to lead the way for those who don't have the platform to express it themselves. I've probably summed it up badly, but that's the general gist of it! Good find and your summary is about right. Also confirms what I was supposing about his strategy, (more macro than micro  ) ... ... for all the hype about paypal (it's a big nothing-burger), the Microstrategy move is orders of magnitude more important, quantifiably more significant (poor people don't have money to move around, bitcoin adoption comes about through money not users, etc, etc)).
