can we have some pics of your forge? I tried my hand at knife smithing a few years back. lots of burns and swear words whats your price for a high carbon Straight Razor? I wont be able to buy because it needs to be blunt to make it through customs (bastards) but I'd like to know anyway. I've never made one before would have to think about it. Currently I dont have a shop setup. I do my work out of a gas forge in my mobile farrier rig. I'll study up the razors and get back to you guys soon.

These are some I made from Chainsaw Chain.
Wow, that is some beautiful work! I'm not even going to ask how much something like that would cost. I just know that I can't afford it. This isn't some cheap, mass produced junk from china. Work like that takes hours of blood, sweat and tears to produce (and probably some curse words too when things go wrong). I have never done any blacksmithing, but I do some welding and brazing. My welds are not pretty, but they are good enough to fix my own farm machinery. And a few years back, I even managed to braze together a frame for my recumbent bicycle. Thanks. I do my own welding as well. I have recently been welding a bit better with an arc welder. I found you need to make sure the electrode rod is pressing against your weld at all times, made a big difference for me. I haven't done brazing in a while.

I know a couple of audio producers myself and if your friend is like them (They all seem to have the same personality I find) I can't see him been too interested in them. They tend to only use headphones when speakers are not permitted (Say in a home studio late at night): Most listeners of music use speakers, so creating music on speakers is usually the best way to get a good sound. As I said though, I am open to offers so tell him to feel free to make one One of the biggest reasons not to use headphones when mixing a recording is that you can not accurately and properly hear phase cancellation with headphones. You need speakers and the ability to put them into 'mono' mode helps tremendously. good luck selling the cans snedie.

Pocketknives should not be given to guys under 18 and girls under 15~16 (they are more responsible lol). I have a pocket knife and it replaces times when I need scissors or instead o struggling with keys I got my knife, but no kid should have that. Even worse with little innocent children
I think thats ridiculous. Giving children responsibility at a young age is the way to get them to respect these things. I had a knife when I was about 10. Thats a good age. Its a very useful tool.

I have a small collection of custom knives, and would be very interested in what you have to offer. Are single piece knives all that you make, or do you make folders? Right now, I'm looking for a small folding pocket knife for my daughter's 11th birthday.
She got her Marlin rifle at eight, which really got a rise out of my mother, but that stays in the gunsafe. I think that she's ready for some real responsibility. Any recommendations from the forum? What kind of pocketknife would you buy for an 11 year old girl?
Unfortunately I do not currently make any folders. Does she do outdoors stuff right now?

I do blacksmith work. I can make cooking knives, or low carbon steel knives or letter openers, or maybe anything you want made from a horseshoe. Let me know. These are some I made from Chainsaw Chain. Knives like these would be fairly expensive as they are very labor intensive to make. But a plain knife made from a single piece of steel would be less expensive.

The block you generated contains/encodes/verifies the transactions that occurred on the network during the time it took you to solve the block. Some of those transactions included a fee so that they would get to the head of the transaction queue and get into the block you solved first. Those fees go to the miner who solves the block and encodes the transactions. There is a wiki, although no great detail about fees. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Blocks"Bitcoin transactions are broadcast to the network by the sender, and all peers generating coins collect them and add them to the block they're working on." Thanks moa: this one paragraph I think made everything make sense. Thank you. Yes thank you, I have been very confused about the fees, where they go and where they come from this makes total sense and is a fantastic idea!! THANK YOU.

most likely, his keys are russian cd keys. that's why they're so cheap (it's to compete with the pirates, or something like that, not sure though). also, his prices are wayyy too high. most cd key stores sell for $20-30 for major games, and you can get them for even cheaper ($15) if you deal directly with the russians over at plati.ru.
Shoot wish I could figure out how to speak russian. I want cod mw2, but they dont appear to take bitcoin.

I have 8 5970's and am mildly considering doing this just for the novelty of having done so.
I have 3 mining machines that have 3, 3, and 2 5970's respectively.
I'd probably only peel off one mining machine, so I only have to put Windows on one hard drive. I just put LogMeIn on or something, and you just remote control the whole machine(s), rent the machine by the day, download and install whatever you want, and you have 100% assurance that you're getting what you pay for. Since I would reformat when you're done, I'd be mostly unconcerned what you install on it.
cool idea. PS teamviewer is really good for remote control app. I just moved my 2x5970 miner to the basement (so much noise) no keyboard/mouse/monitor, just a dummy vga plug and Teamviewer. I can even use my android phone to remote it. Very sweet. Also windows 7 doesnt want to see all 4 cores unless you have crossfire bridge on and crossfire enabled.
