207  Economy / Goods / Re: Any interest in hand forged items? Bottle openers, knives, tools ect... on: January 06, 2013, 09:28:37 PM
All of the things you've made look really neat. Do you work with high-carbon steel, say 1095? Do you have any pictures of machettes? Do you have a sheath to go with one? What kind of price would you charge for a machette?

Thanks,
Teran

Teren, Sorry i did not reply sooner. Anything forged with a cutting edge will be high carbon steel. 1070-1095 or quality scrap steel. If the blade edge has an issue with hardness I will replace it.

I have not made any Machette's lately and do not have any photos. What style are you looking for?
208  Economy / Goods / Re: Any interest in hand forged items? Bottle openers, knives, tools ect... on: January 06, 2013, 09:25:38 PM
Do you offer forged $20 bills?

You'll have to talk to the Federal Reserve about that. Last I checked they are counterfitting bills at a very high rate.
209  Economy / Goods / Re: Any interest in hand forged items? Bottle openers, knives, tools ect... on: January 06, 2013, 08:57:29 PM

Your stuff is amazing. I deal a bit with silver, so I can really appreciate your work. How much for a wrench bottle opener?

Thank you very much!

Curious about the wrench bottle opener too. Would you be able to inscribe custom text on it by any chance?

Around 1.5 BTC (about $20) if its a cheap wrench. If you want a craftsman or snap on the price goes up by the cost of the wrench.

I can punch text into it. Not a ton, depends on space available. Initials (two/3 letters) could be included. Beyond 3 letters would be an extra charge.

I'm a blacksmith by trade. Looking to make some more bitcoin since I have not been mining lately.

Types of things I make;

Knives (Fixed blade)
 - Cook
 - Hunting
 - Patterned Damascus Steel / regular
Machetes
Bottle openers
Blacksmithing Tongs
Grill forks/Knives
Hookeroon (tool for moving firewood)
Froe (tool for splitting wood into planks/shingles)
Other things.

I like to re-purpose objects. Wrenches, machine parts, other interesting things. For knives anything from a tool steel is great. For other items as long as I can forge it. You can send me an item and I can make into a bottle opener or somthing neat.

Here are a couple of things I've made.

Wrenches...
From top BBQ fork, BBQ Knife (razor sharp), Bottle opener, Cheese Fork, Cheese Knife

Knives made from chainsaw chains

I do not make swords.

If you are seriously interested, let me know.

Oder of the words is semi know, the first two are known adnt the last word is known how it all fits together is not. nothing is actually missing, just the possible combinations.

5 phrases. they are numbers followed by a word.
214  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cracking 7zip file you have the pass to.. Almost.? on: October 19, 2012, 08:37:40 PM
Well, if capitalization is completely unknown and potentially truly random, that's 2^40 of entropy right there.  Even if you're doing 1 billion attempts a second (no idea if that's possible), you'd still have 2^31 seconds to complete it, or about 68 years.

Actually the capitalization is somewhat known. there are several words in the passphrase. The first letter in each word is either capitalized or not.

Hey guys Im trying to unzip a file with a 40char password. I have the password but the capitalization and possily order of the phrasing is unknown all manual entry tries have failed. Would it even be possible to crack this file under 256it encryption? Even with 99.9% of the passphrase is known?

Cool man sounds good! You should consider using the hobby king kk2 board though. It has auto level which will be required by the newbies.

220  Economy / Goods / Re: Feeler: Quad copters (Semi-assembled kits) on: August 23, 2012, 05:32:43 AM
I haven't quite decided on a battery yet, but I think it'll be a 11V ~2500mAh battery which will provide about 10-20 minutes flight time depending on how hard you drive it.

Try 8 minutes. MAYBE. No way you will be getting 20 minutes on a quad with a 2500mah lipo.

Here are the questions that need answering

What do you plan on using for an Flight Control Board?
Which esc, motors and prop sizes?
Will rc control tx/rx be included?
What frame will you be using?

I think you are new to building multi rotors.. There is a lot more to it. You need to get the correct ESC (electronic speed controllers) for multirotors and repflash them if necessary , the correct motors for the application and the correct prop size for the motor/frame. Under propping or over propping will cook the motors. the you need to know how to program the ESC's so when they hit the low voltage setting they wont kill the motors and drop your quad out of the sky..
