Interesting artwork. The buyer should understand that's all it is, and it isn't described here, that the steel used in railroad spikes makes for a poor knife, as far as a quality tool is concerned.
Depends what you are using it for. Some spikes are actually high carbon steel but those are very few. Most are low carbon, mild steel. These knives wont keep an edge under any hard use, normal use will require frequent sharpening. You could cut in and weld in a piece of high carbon steel like a bandsaw or sawzall bade to make this a more resilient knife that will hold its edge.

Just a note, I've seen reports of highest megahashes per second from people using the latest stream SDK (2.4 I believe) + the latest PhatK kernel for phoenix. Also lowering your memory to 300 MHz and then playing with bumping it up random amounts to find the sweet spot works well too, and cuts heat output (compared to 1000 MHz memory)
If I touch the mem on my 5830's they lock up.

Alright, I went to use the site but there is a problem.
I dont have an amazon account. And to share your wish list you must have made a purchase first through amazon then wait 24 hours before sharing (so it tells me when I try to share).
But amazon does give you a permalink for your wishlist. So on your site perhaps you should have an optional form to fill out with Shipping info, and wishlist permalink. The site could then return a page that has the bitcoin amount, email and send address as well as a transaction number for referencing the transaction.
Also will you be providing tacking numbers?
I'd like to buy with your site asap.
thanks.

As the subject suggests, if you restore blades and accept BTC, let me know. I just bought a razor with a pretty cruddy blade. The edge seems fine, but there is some surface rust. I would like to use it, and would greatly appreciate your services.
post a pic of the blade. each side.

I just got an open box one of those on the way. I'm hoping it's not the one he's talking about. No thats not the card. I dont think thats the best bang for your buck either. The one I sent back was an asus open box. It never worked right had all kinds of bios issues right out of the (open) box. I ordered an msi board today, but not that one. Im going to use pcie2.0 slots on the baord and 1x risers on the 1x slots.

Im sending back another Mobo to new egg today. This was an open box that just died. My hash rates were halfed on one of my cards so I rebooted and nothing.
I am in need of a good board that wont break the bank. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Combo of pcie 16x and 1x would be just fine as long as all slots are accessible.
Thank you!

Anyone have any idea where I can get a pci-e 1x extender cable that does not stick out of the top of the slot much at all? Kind like right angled? This would be wonderful as on my board one of the 1x slots is blocked by another card over top of it.

Once again there is no such thing as a free lunch...unless you live in your parent's basement..then you're living like a king..lol mine away!
No but seriously yeah I bet most smart landlords do include a small clause or disclaimer that will prevent you from consuming the Gigawatts of electricity your dream mining farm would require. So I'm afraid with all things you gotta pay if you wanna play. Thankfully mining is still profitable - for some people - so the electricity costs can be covered and justified.
If its an apartment building without meters for each unit, it would be sorta hard to tell who's using all the electricity. I guess you could just start shutting down breakers and see when the meter slows down a bunch.

Would it be possible to create a secure client, to have the bitcoin client keep the wallet encrypted even while its active? A password protected client i guess. The client could be configured to show status of wallet but require a pass-phrase when sending a payment or something. I dont know just an idea, with the value stored in wallets going up this only seems like a logical solution. Forgive me if this has been discussed.
