1821  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a micro loan for 4-5 days on: November 10, 2012, 02:19:54 PM
Looks like he seems to have lost all interest in posting when it became apparent he wasn't getting a loan.  That's often a fairly accurate indicator it was a scam to begin with.

or he just waited and mined his .2

1822  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ISP shut down my Intenet! on: November 10, 2012, 02:18:09 PM
I guess it depends what you are doing. But the average end user does not want to spend over $100 per month on internet service....

1823  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ISP shut down my Intenet! on: November 10, 2012, 02:00:11 PM
Well the Pro Internet plan here is about 90 a month...

Basic business plan which is slower than the Pro Residential with less of a cap is like $250 a month.......

1825  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ISP shut down my Intenet! on: November 10, 2012, 01:41:43 PM
^ LOL they're a pain in the ass to deal with but 90% of the time you'll get what you want if you fuss enough.

1826  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Two HIS 6990 on: November 10, 2012, 01:39:54 PM
What's wrong with escrow and protecting the buyer?  Even a 50% payment prior to ship would be reasonable...

I have done the second option every time I purchased or sold something here.

1827  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colorado and Washington voters approve cannabis legalization (your move, feds) on: November 10, 2012, 01:36:33 PM
I disagree, tecshare, they may try to.  I think weed will be legal all over, within the next year.

It'll be legalized by the states. Not by the federal government.... The federal government will keep the black market alive and thriving...
1828  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Two HIS 6990 on: November 09, 2012, 08:39:42 PM
I dont think i deserved all the heat and grief in my last thread. But i guess thats difference of opinion. You wanna start shit with me and derail my threads? Bring it jerkoff. Im not gonna lock it this time. Lets see how stupid we can make this post and how long we can keep it going.

You made it to 100 posts.. Good job....

Lock the thread. someone can PM you if they're interested...
1829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Visual presentation of transactions path? on: November 09, 2012, 08:35:14 PM
Is there something like http://blockchain.info/tree/32288753 but not just for single transaction but following the path of a coin?
Something where you can click on each recepient to see it's tree would be great...... kinda like what google wonder wheel used to be Smiley

It's probably a long shot, but someone made something pretty cool a while back. I don't remember the name or url, but I think it was in a thread about coin taint. Oh, man, no idea how to find it. I'm not sure it does what you want either, but it displayed a pretty nice clickable wobbly graph of some sort of abstraction on the transactions (money flow?, I'm not sure). I remember being impressed.

That sounds pretty cool.... Link please Cheesy

1831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: i somehow had a double spend on: November 09, 2012, 08:31:50 PM
I'm not sure if this was a double spend received from btcjam or a double spend caused by sending from the wallet. But if this occurs again normally you just have to wait an hour or so for one of the transactions to confirm and things resolve themselves.

Good to hear.
1832  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I RMA'd a 5830 and got back a 6790 on: November 09, 2012, 08:30:16 PM
I had to rma a 5830 to XFX and I received a 6850.
how could I look if it is still under warranty and is it able to RMA if the fan ist broken?
TIA

I just created a support ticket on their website, and asked based on the serial number of the card.  They just immediately responded with an RMA number and told me to send it in.

I would get them to set in stone what you'll be getting back.. .Say something like, will my new card be worth the expense of shipping this unit back to you?

Usually after the first RMA... I would get them to pay return shipping since it's a newly received RMA'd card... But that might be pushing it Tongue
