The stop sign was out.. It's against the law to pass a bus when the stop sign is Flashing....

Driving on the sidewalk is just a stupid thing to do in the first place, but to pass a bus with a flashing stop sign.... Seems the lady did this on a regular basis and they had the cops and videocamera set up to catch her.

Peltier coolers are best case approximately 60% efficient, its hard to find good numbers as there are so many variables involved. So you would need at least a 230 watt one to cool a gpu at all and almost tripling power usage and heat output. I tried to cool a 45 watt low power cpu with a 73 watt peltier and it failed to do so at full power.

Has anyone ever done a mini fridge rig, or an old school locker with air conditioning?  Maybe reading up on Peltier coolers would help a bit.

The amount of power required to cool a GPU with a TEC cooler would not be worth it in the long run unless you didn't pay for power.... But I think putting that money towards more GPU's would be more logical..

I had a few of the Coolit Freezone's..... I had two of them in 1 loop..... I was running gas lines to help keep the condensation down...... My idle temps were like 5'C with a max of about 20'C @ 100% load.... .
1927  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: GUI mining - updated Feb 19 with poclbm bugfix on: November 06, 2012, 02:39:58 PM
why not just run cgminer? Is pushing a key really that different from clicking a button with your mouse?
I run CGminer by GUIminer normaly(3 GPUs) for several months, but if run 3 CGminers(one GPU corresponds to one worker), it will dead in several days.

Why would you run more than one instance of cgminer? That makes no sense to me.

Especially since you'll be shipping product in about 4 weeks.
Correction: 4-6 weeks.

Did I miss this announcement, or does ckolivas know something that we don't?

I guess he would have a better idea than most, since he will/has receive a dev unit.

Could you elaborate on how you know BFL won't be shipping for 4-6 weeks?

Common sense?
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vote Smoothie for Alternate Crypto Subforum Mod on: November 06, 2012, 01:23:32 PM
smoothie,

Atlas is cooler than you. That's saying something. At least he occasionally has interesting and/or philosophical posts. But you... you are far worse. Your asinine trolling garbage turns every thread into a shitfest. Your 12 year old "Hurr durr I tr0lled you, U mad bro? rofl xDDD" mentality has permanently scared the internet for generations to come. You are like the Midas of shit.

haha this guy said what most people think Cheesy

how many nmc do you have?

I'm surprised you managed to miss that info, so I adjusted it a bit - check my first post on this thread.

You're not even the OP..... The op offered to sell some NMC and you came along trying to sell your pennies worth.

1938  Other / Off-topic / Re: Already delays in BFL shipment plans? on: November 05, 2012, 09:38:43 PM
Right but when you pre order a videogame it's already created/packaged/shipped to distributors until release day.

None of this Monthly update of a new ship date..... or when they might be able to assemble their first unit....... 1 small hiccup could cause additional months of waiting.
