I had to rma a 5830 to XFX and I received a 6850. Didn't matter to me because I sold it for $110 on ebay.

Seems like an issue with their wallet service.... Is there any support for their service?
1845  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer tag: PatrickHarnett on: November 09, 2012, 05:12:15 PM
Yeah that's a whole lot of crazy if you ask me...

You really expect someone breaching a contract to get away with paying less than what they owed by contract? In what alternate universe is this ever the case?

No of course not.... BUT I would expect him to pay what he really owes not some made up amount counting words in a forum thread....
1846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: i somehow had a double spend on: November 09, 2012, 05:03:28 PM
when i refresh my wallet the balance switches between   72    15    and 18    this is crazy

I would get on them about it. Talk to a supervisor..... Say it performs like shit on the games you play.

Not sure why they would downgrade your card like that...

I just tried calling them.  They don't open for 10 more minutes.  Is that my strongest argument, that it is a low tier card and it doesn't perform on games the same way my 5830 did?

Yup... I wouldn't accept a downgrade like that...

I would msg them and say WTF?  Why did you send me a lower performance card?

you should have at least got a 6870...

1857  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colorado and Washington voters approve cannabis legalization (your move, feds) on: November 09, 2012, 09:24:51 AM
I have said it before and I will say it again. This is how it will play out. The states will legalize marijuana and individuals and groups will put millions of dollars of capitol into building businesses in various places. It will be in the form of land, vehicles, and other assets. The fed will stand by and let this industry grow. Then from time to time the federal government will swoop in and skim off some of the cream from these businesses via federal drug seizure laws, confiscating assets, cash, and property. They will treat it as their own little piggy bank based on ambiguity between state and federal law. This is already in progress to a certain extent.

A+

for cereal? If crackheads can afford a $100 a day crack habit by panhandling I think you can get 10 bucks worth of gas in your car.

geez my wife drives about 40 km every morning one way to work 5 days a week and we pay 5 fucking dollars a gallon here...

1859  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Guiminer .5 BTC Bounty for solution! :) on: November 09, 2012, 12:54:37 AM
It's rather simple... you run cgminer with a blank config on each rig.... once it's running stock save config file.. enter. Open cgminer.conf replace values with your overclocks voila... Smiley

You could set up 5 rigs with cgminer in under 20 minutes if you're already running windows.
1860  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ISP shut down my Intenet! on: November 09, 2012, 12:53:05 AM
Most internet in Canada sucks compared to the USA and Europe.

We are very limited on what we can get unless you live in a HUGE city...

In my area we have one cable internet provider and numerous DSL providers selling the same DSL service....

Question: Can you get Cogeco in your AREA? You're not in London are you?
