That's exactly what they did for me..

I had a 5770 fan die out on me... They were more than happy to send me out a replacement fan only...

I am currently using that replacement fan on a 5850 Tongue

I would call the local Sheriff's office....

Tell him the story........ Maybe get the sheriff to pay him a visit.

Do you have much info on this guy?...

He lives in a very small town with a population of just 17,186 people. He also lists interest/membership to several smaller circles of interest groups within that town community.

Dropping info about this thread strategically with these groups as well as community heads in a town that small will have the whole town discussing that in a miniscule timeframe. These communities are usually starved for fresh juicy news to blabber about.

Little bit of work, but I bet it will be well worth it in the long run....

1726  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Seagate Hard Drives for BTC |50%+ Off Retail | on: November 14, 2012, 04:10:22 PM
Anything posted by a new member is a scam around here... at such low cost and him willing to ship first for some members... If I don't get the cops at my door for receiving a drive.. I'm happy Smiley

nice beginners setup - just a bit late to the party  Wink
unfortunately miners earnings will halve in just over 2 weeks
soon after that ASIC hardware will be arriving that will make difficulty skyrocket and gpus be worse than useless to mine on unless you want to mine for fun and dont have any power costs Wink

Do you think difficulty is going to cut in half in 1 day when the first 25 btc block is mined?

1730  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2000 GH/s] EMC: No Fee/PPS/DGM/Dwolla/SMS/2FA/GBT/Stratum/Vardiff on: November 14, 2012, 01:04:45 PM
so for stratum, I should enter:

http://us2.eclipsemc.com:3333
No, stratum isn't http. stratum+tcp://us2.eclipsemc.com

Cgminer doesn't seem to like that. coming up as dead.
cgminer's stratum implementation is broken. I've got some fixes in BFGMiner git, but I hear Con's making excuses.

last few versions of cgminer have worked perfect with stratum mining on btcguild...

What's this crap about Luke?

Dude, You've even had a global moderator come in here and threaten to ban your ass for being such a douche bag...

not sure what thread you've been reading but you clearly have not sold your cards due to your incompetence as a decent human being...

1734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Silk road down for second day, what's going on? on: November 13, 2012, 08:34:29 PM
Someone on the SR forum started a thread wanting Silkroad to add member ship fee's for buyers... something small 2-3 BTC for new account

It would get rid of the kids that are buying next to nothing, or just showing all their friends
1735  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a micro loan for 4-5 days on: November 13, 2012, 07:43:30 PM
We gotta be nicer around here... Not everyone is a scam.... This guy just wanted to bum .2 btc... And he paid back.....
1736  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I RMA'd a 5830 and got back a 6790 on: November 13, 2012, 07:35:46 PM
Glad you're going to get the proper card for your RMA....

I nominate you switch to shaw, You get free "COME THE FAWK TO MY HOUSE AND FIX MY INTERNET" service.

I thought Shaw and Rogers were in the same company? I'm probably wrong though Tongue
1740  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [708 Gh] MtRed (PPS, LP+, API, 0 FEE) Merged Mining Test LIVE on: November 13, 2012, 03:39:30 PM
Exactly ^ ......

If I wanted to pay 5% of my earnings I would go with BTCguild which I use as a backup pool.

The stats I meant are my shares counted...... I have noticed the actual site (portal) goes down on a regular basis.... miners seem fine! Once and a while they kick off..
