681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: April 08, 2020, 10:25:37 AM
Tokoin and Taychon are good projects, they have huge volumes and are listed at major exchanges, so the price of tokens don't fall after the distribution of bounty. But there are so many bullshit projects listed on exchanges that don't have volumes, so prices often fall after bounty is distributed. I totally agree with you, bad projects will lead to bad results
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: April 07, 2020, 02:46:30 PM
There are many great and promising projects out there if you DYOR!

I agree. There are still some airdrops that will follow through with their promises. Not every project wishes to sacrifice their reputation by not paying out an airdrop.
I have not seen a project that fulfilled their promise in 2020, most of them have failed to start the project. And some projects continually delay distribution for a variety of reasons. If this situation continues, I believe that airdrop and bounty will die this year
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 07, 2020, 02:21:15 PM
You need to always set stop loss when trading altcoin. Do not rely on it and hope for it because if altcoin collapses, its price will surely fall deeply and it is difficult to recover in a short time. I always set a stop loss 5-10% depending on the altcoins I buy
Absolutely agree with you, if the altcoin we buy collapses then we should sell them as soon as possible and wait for the better opportunity to make a profit. Never try to hold it because its price will go down even lower, I've had this case a few times in the past and it helped me gain more experience in this market.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will grow in price faster if the market recovers? on: April 05, 2020, 12:58:18 PM
The list is unlimited, there are many good altcoins that have lose value and I expect smart investors to take advantage of the price loss, coins like BNB, OKB, Cosmos, atoms, Tezos etc can't go wrong
We do not know the bottom of these altcoins, even the price will continue to go down if Bitcoin continues to collapse in the future. Many investors took advantage of the opportunity to buy altcoins in March and now they are hoping altcoins can go up and help them not to make a loss. But if we invest in the long term, I think this is not a big deal. Price is still too cheap compared to the future
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: April 05, 2020, 11:59:13 AM
Tip to those who join lots of bounties and bounty group - remember from time to time clean telegram cache if you are using your mobile for promoting (writing/chatting) there. All the media (sticker, video, gifs, picture or any kind of crap) "eats" a lot of free space on your mobile. Specially dead/abandoned groups, where bots and spammers post their wall of text.

I've checked my cache and it turned out that telegram took 11gb out of my 64 disk memory...
You are right, I did checked mine and I see a whopping 9gb gone, wow why did telegram eat that much space? I think it's better to leave groups that aren't useful or any project groups that are dead

If you are finish following the project you should leave now. because it will take all the memories in your mobile or pc and there is also chances that you will add to other group from those people who make a mass adding they are looking for larges group that they can take members.
If all the bounty hunters follow what you say then I think the projects will not really be interesting, their telegrams will become empty and there will be no more active members. I agree that we will be added to some other groups in telegram but we can out them in the future
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: April 04, 2020, 01:03:07 PM
Since I've ranked up to junior member I decide to start my bounty hunting journey and after spending hours on bounty section on this forum I was shocked that no single bounty is of high quality and worth my time, all I see is projects going for crap exchanges like ChainX and another one called leadwallet that wants to raise fund using ChainX and all team members are Nigerians, really? And many members are promoting such project? The good projects are over or I'm missing something?

Aren't there bounty projects that list on gate.io, binance, okex, huobi ? ChainX, p2pb2b, exmarket and others like these exchanges will only drag the project down, are bounty hunters blind or just too stupid to do research?

Some of the members lack the option to choose from, they promote projects hoping that the project will turn out to be good after the market gets better, and on leadwallet, good projects have no nationality, even if they are all coming from one country, as long as their project is not on the scam thread they are still ok to run crowdfunding, it's still in the hands of the investors.

In promoting a project, those who like to work understands already the status of the market now, majority of the project will fail so majority of the bounty hunters will not be able to get a good reward, they are promoting hoping they will be lucky being able to promote a successful project and they don't actually risk money like investors, so at the end of the day, they don't lose anything, except for the little effort.
They will take time when participating in the campaigns here. They work for months and wait months to get those tokens, but ultimately. Those projects fail and investors are unable to sell those tokens, it is better to give up the bounty and look for a better job.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks on: April 04, 2020, 12:36:40 PM
If we store money in exchanges then we should be prepared for a mentality, because the entire exchange in this market can be hacked at any time. Even the best exchange like Binance is still hacked in 2019. It is best to store all altcoins and bitcoin in a cold wallet.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The One Coin That Can Compete with Bitcoin and Ethereum on: April 04, 2020, 12:12:14 PM
No coin can compete with bitcoin, not even contemplating outperforming bitcoin. Cardano is good but still belong to an altcoin category. I really doubt if it can defeat eth in the market.
ADA cannot beat ETH, I agree with you that ADA is a good altcoin but it cannot afford to beat ETH and surpass ETH. And I believe that no altcoins will ever surpass ETH and BTC, which will be the 2 biggest cryptocurrencies in this market.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: April 01, 2020, 01:13:12 PM
Bounty is only one of the way to create awareness about crypto projects, there are many other ways.
The promotions and marketing alone is not enough to make investors come to the project,
the team of the project must have some actions like controlling the price of the token, exchange listing, token burning, etc.
As far as I know, the project team is not allowed to control the price of the token. If they did that, they might be breaking the law because they manipulated the price. The price of the token must depend on the market and outside investors
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store theta token? on: April 01, 2020, 12:34:10 PM
I wanted to buy some theta token but I am confused about whether I should store it in my paper wallet or some specific wallets supported by this token. Please suggest.
Why don't you use their wallet. I don't hold this altcoin, but when I went through their website and checked, I saw that they had a wallet like myetherwallet, so I think it's best to use their wallet to store theta.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: April fools! Buy Toilet Paper Token! on: April 01, 2020, 12:04:51 PM
Lol, if it wasn't for the rank "0" there might be a lot of people being fooled. As I was trying to sell the april fools joke as well, but It was too obvious.
I think N95 face mask token is more appropriate than the toilet paper token (sold out from all drugstores nationwide in my country, not sure about the others though).
I'm glad that people still have time to be positive and celebrate with the april fools gimmick amidst these hard times.

People will know they are fooled until visiting its link. They will not find any news and it will not be listed on any exchange in this market. Also I saw this was a joke when I saw the "out of stock" title was really funny for me
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MESSAGE TO BOUNTY MANAGERS on: March 31, 2020, 09:05:33 AM
No matter how pro a bounty manager is they will sometimes promote bad projects, that's not entirely their fault because projects can fail anytime and few can even turn to scam, not all scam projects can be easily detected
Exactly like that, they cannot avoid scam projects because they are not part of the project. They don't know what the true purpose of those projects is, I've been following a lot of bounty from him, but it seems he met a lot of scam projects in the last few years.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 31, 2020, 07:30:13 AM
In that situation I better hodl. I don't get panicked because I know whether I get panicked or not this won't give me a solution. So I hodl. Sometimes it's better to believe in future and also believe in luck.
Hold is always a good choice, if the market collapses and we can't get out in time then it's best to keep calm and hold them for a while. If we are holding good altcoins, they will surely recover soon, this market will not be able to die easily.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 29, 2020, 01:41:25 PM
Well, the truth is the team seek for investors, here I mean their marketing team, they should have their own procedures of getting investors, but then the bounty hunter also creates awareness which cuts across crypto users and non crypto users, their hype sometimes is just too much not to attract investors,so I think both the team marketing team and the bounty hunters are very important to marketing a project.
If a project has no angel investors and no sponsors, I believe they will fail in the future. A big project will never depend too much on bounty, because bounty only helps their project become more popular. If they wanted to find investors through bounty, their strategy was wrong
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 29, 2020, 01:19:21 PM
I don't currently hold any altcoins. I moved it all to USDT and waited for another better opportunity to continue re-investing in this market. And if you haven't sold altcoins since the market collapsed, it's better to keep holding them, if you sell them, you'll lose out in this market.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: March 29, 2020, 01:00:31 PM
KYC is bad for the sake of exposure but that is what price we have to pay if we must achieve regulation for this industry. There are instances where I submitted my KYC documents only for those projects to scam. I believe such scam projects are likely to sell customers' data in their possession on the darknet and thereby endangering the identities of their customers. If we can achieve regulation without exchanges demanding KYC documents, that would be fine and great.
I don't understand why KYC is used for bounty and airdrop, they don't need to collect our personal information if they're a legit project. Over the past 2 years I have seen thousands of airdrops and bounty asking KYC participants, and thankfully I have never participated in such campaigns. And just as you said, our material can be sold and used for malicious purposes
It is very suspicious, if airdrops and bounties are requested for KYC, especially for inappropriate gifts. but I used to do it to send kyc, because the prize I got was satisfying. but worry still exists, because it involves our personal data, but until now there are no problems, hopefully the project will develop in a healthy manner
Sure, if the rewards are too low and they ask for KYC then we can skip it. If the reward is good enough, we can go through KYC with a bit of worry. Once our information is exposed, there will certainly be consequences in the future
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 29, 2020, 12:42:32 PM
Not getting paid from airdrop shouldn't hurt you because you lost no money, i haven't seen a Airdrop that takes more than a minute of your time unlike bounties that takes hours and up to months and in the end you get nothing
Exactly, we don't lose money when participating in those airdrops. If the airdrops are scam and do not pay, we only take 1 minute of life for wasting time with them. And if we are lucky, we will be able to participate in an airdrop of great value
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is altcoin season??? on: March 29, 2020, 12:23:05 PM
There won't be a particular time for altcoin season so to say some tokens will get pumped by whales from time to time be on alert should your bags get pumped.
You are right, we will not be able to determine when the altcoin season will begin. It can start whenever whales want it because they control the market. A lot of people have been buying altcoins since 2018 and waiting for the altcoin season but I think it will not come too soon, this market will continue to collapse and discourage all investors
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where ETH will go if it breaks down $80? on: March 28, 2020, 12:19:49 PM
Until now, ETH has not been broken at $ 80. This is the last support zone of ETH and if it collapses, it is certain that ETH will return to its original state. Maybe its price will go below $ 10 and it is difficult to recover. By the way, if ETH were to break down at $ 80, I would put all my assets in it to bet and seek profit in the future.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 28, 2020, 11:55:49 AM
Airdrops do not waste too much of your time, so you will not waste time with it. As long as you know how to choose the airdrop to join, it is best to choose the airdrop of the altcoins listed at coinmarketcap. Because the airdrops will pay you tokens and you can sell them immediately without having to wait
