201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BASH] LuckChain, Blockchain Bet Platform, YoBit C-CEX ICO Escrow on: November 03, 2016, 03:21:06 PM
I'm curious why you need an ICO at all for this coin, let alone ~$87,000 when all it takes is a few PCs and maybe a server to keep things running...? With that much bitcoin from ICO, you could basically control the value until you kill your own coin...
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (PREANN) PURE VIDZ Crowdfunding Campaign Starts Soon! on: November 03, 2016, 03:07:22 PM
Don't take my money...

...how many 'youtube' altcoins are going to rise and fall before we accept the fact that YouTube isn't going anywhere?  There are too many hurdles at this point to achieve mainstream adoption.  LBRY almost had it, until their reddit AMA (which blew up in their face with one question  Cheesy )

Good luck regardless  Smiley
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tubecoin (Tube) Low Coin Supply 125% POS on: November 03, 2016, 02:48:42 PM

Your name rolls off the tongue quite nicely in regards to this coin...

...shitcoind....what a nice daemon to be had Smiley

Somebody already checked wallet? It is safe?

safe or not, this standard of using mega.co.nz to host binary distributions for wallets is pathetic. Mega links are generally not permanent, and there has been a long history of malicious link manipulation. TBH, if these coin "devs" cannot spend the extra 2 minutes to host/distribute binaries in a sensible manner, what does that say about their ability to actually provide a solid/stable long-term cryptocurrency?

Here's the standard code/compliance review for this coin
Code:
     ___      _         ___ _               _
    / __\___ (_)_ __   / __\ |__   ___  ___| | _____ _ __
   / /  / _ \| | '_ \ / /  | '_ \ / _ \/ __| |/ / _ \ '__|

* At least one DNS seeder addresses is improperly formatted.
* DNS Seeders should be full hostnames and not IP addresses.

* IRC based peer fetching has long since been depreciated!
* Developer should remove it and use DNS Seeding instead.

* Windows deployment sript is using an incorrect version!
* Deployment build won't have the correct metadata!

Results should be manually verified and you should NOT rely
on any automated scripts (including this one) before running
or compiling any crypto wallet.
============================================================

ocminer has stated that the single IP address used as a seed node has been used in numerous other coins in the past (referenced from his google search link).

I'll add that IRC based peer discovery was disabled by default in the 0.6.x version of Bitcoin, and removed entirely as of Bitcoin version 0.8.2. The removal of IRC peer discovery is not a "recent" thing by any means (disabled mid 2012 and removed May 2013), and there really is NO excuse to have any new coin launch include such an antiquated and insecure peer discovery method here in 2016

Very important to note, on top of notsofast's advice.

Anyone who dares mess with this coin, I wish you the best...RIP...
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 03, 2016, 02:26:32 AM
Gambling is just so addicting because its so fun to do and you can also fun, these two factors are making it so enjoying and nice.
I really think 80% percent of the addicts is addicted because of this.

Bro....I hope you aren't gambling any time soon, because if you're gonna propose two factors....I think you should come up with another one.  I'm not sure if this affects your '80%' of addicts statistic though...do you have a source on that?  Wink
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DIMEcoin l community take over l updated everyday on: November 02, 2016, 10:19:16 PM

Last one I used was on Cryptopia, but since that's been removed I can't find a working pool, any help?  Thanks in advance!

Wow, my condolences with Catlin. Can't believe you were just dropped like that....wtf Did he have to lose?

How about we just set up a similar service, and show him what he's missing out on Wink

209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZCashDarkCoin - Scrypt - No ICO - No premine - Ninja launch on: November 01, 2016, 02:14:05 AM
They are on a bad start, eventhough the dev made it a no ico no premine plan, this is what happen if you attach your project to a scam project, there are better ways to launch a coin, better think of your option.

ZEC isn't scam you know... if there are investors too stupid to pay 3299 BTC for a coin then they deserve to lose all their money... were are their brains? ZEC is worth 0.01 BTC max... people are still paying too much for ZEC... ok, it was pumped from 0.60 BTC to 3.60BTC and already falling back to 1.8BTC but that doesn't make ZEC a scam.... investors shouldn't pay 3299 BTC for it in the first place.

And yet poloniex trollbox is full of shills shouting how ZEC has 'the best tech' when it's NOTHING NEW and MORE OF THE SAME.  There are literally too many spammers, Polo can't ban them quick enough...something very suspicious going on with this one.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BRK] Breakout Chain | Coin Sale Complete | Multicurrencies | Gaming + eSports on: October 31, 2016, 09:14:26 PM

Big deal, price moved. Still below ico and site is useless being banned in my region.

Soooo it doesn't work for you.......waaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!!  Cry Cry Cry

And I'll take not accessing a video game and waking up here over gaming and your geolocation anyday. Lol

I don't understand what you're trying to say...where do you live?  And where does he live?  And why would you rather wake up over there - it's not like that other guy isn't going to wake up...  Huh
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nodio. A blockchain-powered router that serves as a platform for DApps. on: October 31, 2016, 08:44:40 PM
Are you looking for any help with this project?

I could assist you with writing - your ANN description could use some improvements Smiley I'd be more than willing to help out with future articles/social media/editing/etc. as well.

Shoot me a PM or reply here if you would be interested.

Thanks in advance!
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BRK] Breakout Chain | Coin Sale Complete | Multicurrencies | Gaming + eSports on: October 31, 2016, 07:54:57 PM

213  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bitcoin mining farm for sale on: October 31, 2016, 02:57:33 AM
Can you post some pictures of these rigs?

And who is this escrow you talk of, can you give us a link to his/her profile....is this OG Nasty trusted by others, or is this one of your alternate accounts?  Tongue
214  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Video Guide: How to make your own bitcoin mining pool on: October 31, 2016, 01:47:33 AM
uNOMP's github says this:
Quote
Development stopped and is now unsupported. The node.js version is being deprecated in October 2016.

link

If uNOMP is now unsupported, what is the de-facto software for pool development nowadays?

Props to OP for these video tutorials by the way, excellent step-by-step process Smiley
215  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] AWS EC2 Credits Twitchcon/Educate Q4 Event 100$ [Autobuy] on: October 29, 2016, 09:33:18 PM
Are there any limitations on what these credits can be used for in AWS?

Thanks in advance Smiley
216  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 29, 2016, 04:41:31 PM
I was PMed asking if there was an update. This is what happened...

We spoke on the phone the next day. (20th?)
I increased my offer.
He said he would talk to his partner.

No communication since.

I'd just give up dude, sorry...

How long will you allow yourself to be put on hold like this? It's quite obvious he's just delaying until you get sick of asking.

What I don't understand is why OP did all this in the first time, no profit from scamming anyone, and nothing but a waste of time for everyone else...Huh
217  Economy / Services / Re: Earn $1000s PLUS a month on FOREX on: October 29, 2016, 06:18:35 AM
I am really interested but I need proof that I can make $1000.well if I can make $1000 I dont have any problem to give $100.send me pm with details Smiley
lol, read what you just said.  Do you think that the OP is offering a foolproof method to convert $100 into $1000 consistently?
The OP has contacted me and I'll test out his services.

lol asking "vouch" service and now come to teach me.
you better learn first what is Forex.
Am not new on Forex.I have 5 years experience on Forex and am not looser on Forex.why I share my strategy only for 100 bucks if I can make huge profit with my strategy? I understand what op intention.

Ok, but why share a strategy for a small amount (100 in comparison with 1000) when eventually you will have so many people using the same strategy as you....that will only hurt you in the end, and eventually you will lose more than that 100 bucks you've gained from each person....that's just if OP is legit (which I highly doubt)
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash Mining for Linux and Windows users on: October 29, 2016, 12:49:41 AM
These are all just cloud mining, no GPS required, high risk of losing your money in a clever scam Smiley
219  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITCUREX.COM - new official thread on: October 28, 2016, 02:25:56 AM
Hey guys,

Can I be a part of the new team?

I'd like to make a few million once we get enough investors.  Once a few thousand bitcoin come our way, a nice little 'hack' (i mean...oops oh no, we got hacked guys, sorry, peace out) will happen and the btc lost disappears into our pockets the hacker's pockets.  Can't wait until the next launch!  Glad to see your user's lost funds going into a new development of the site  Grin
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another exchange goes bust. Bitcurrex loses ~2300 BTC on: October 28, 2016, 02:23:28 AM
Highly doubtful they actually got hacked.  I'd be willing to bet they took the 2300 btc and ran, just like every other exchange has done in the past.  Who's gonna hold them accountable?  No-one.  Another millionaire borne, from the rest of us losing out.

Never keep your funds on exchanges.
