601  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for investors on: July 05, 2016, 04:55:07 AM
So...no videos, screenshots, code, or estimated release...all you can provide is a paragraph's worth of some thirteen year old's dream game? Yep, definitely legit...

What does 10,000,000 DOGE (why DOGE?) help - will free money just magically produce this product?  Why are you only sending info in PMs to those whom volunteered to invest?  Too many red flags.  Next time, at least have something to bring to the table, so that we know you're actually serious :/

(btw, I'll be watching this thread - if you do provide enough evidence this is a serious project, I'd have no problem helping out)
602  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AntShares is to launch ICO soon… on: July 05, 2016, 04:48:18 AM
Interesting to say the least.  Needs some translation work Smiley  Will be watching this for sure, thanks for the heads up!
603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: July 05, 2016, 02:59:50 AM
Trading multiple coins does have a downside - waiting. Sometimes it'll take a very long time before you see the chance to profit emerge, especially if you bought in at the top  Shocked

Then youre tempted to sell a slow moving coin because another is spiking....
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FLT] Fluttercoin Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ | Proof of Transaction 3.0 | Update v0.7.5.18 on: July 05, 2016, 02:53:50 AM
Looking to invest in FLT - where would a newcomer start off? After buying in, of course...looks like there's some activity now...

Who's in control now? Links? White paper? Road map (current)? Slack channel? I'm on mobile, don't have the ability to do a lot of sleuthing at the moment Tongue

Thanks in advance for any help, it's greatly appreciated. If any help is needed with development/marketing/etc.  shoot me a PM Smiley

Cheers!
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BLITZ] BLITZCASH | A brand new face for BlitzCoin | FITALIZE | TVE on: July 04, 2016, 08:58:57 PM
Wait, so do I have to buy a fitbit?

This would be a better project if there were a smartphone app that utilized phone's sensors (make sure it cannot be abused by shaking the phone though Tongue ) then synchronized with a user's BLITZ wallet

So I can just mine this with

Code:
setgenerate true x

x=cores

?

If not - I saw OP said it can be mined with CPU/GPU, but are there any pools yet?
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOD] Bloodcoin|End the Bloodshed|0.11.2.29| POW|Quark|NO ICO|Masternodes on: July 03, 2016, 11:51:36 PM
OMG...yobit was sync'd with BOD three hours ago, but I wasn't at home to withdraw.  Now I'm home and it's delayed again....why??!  Would me simply  connecting help speed that up?
609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: July 03, 2016, 11:42:04 PM
I think a common mistake is not protecting the private keys. If you lose the private keys or they are not secure, you will lose your bitcoins.
i think that is the appropriat answer for the question. i think th most common mistake the newbie often made is that they do not care for their account security. they some time do not know about the private keys which often put them in trouble.

This isn't really a newbie mistake, but more of an overall stupidity issue...My first time using bitcoin, I printed a paper wallet and kept it all there.  Only way I'd lose the keys was if I lost the paper - not that difficult.  With digital wallets, the same mentality applies...  Smiley
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL! Whales need cheap Coins! on: July 03, 2016, 11:32:19 PM
What price crash?

Today's price crash, didn't you read my post?
I only invested in this game-changing technology of the future yesterday, and already down about a thousand unsound American dollars. The missus doesn't even know what I gone and done yet, and I can't figure what to tell her.
You suppose I should tell her now, finance visionary, talented video producer, MTV-caliber guitarist and all around Renaissance [Florida] Man Jarred Boyce? Or break it to her easy, sorta ready her for the shock, maybe candlelight dinner, over a glass of vine? Drop it on her just before the roofies kick in?

Or just "hodl" and hope she don't find out?

Just wait a few weeks, the price will rise again and you'll have not only the ~$1,000, but a little profit as well.  You know DAMN WELL that telling her would be a horrible mistake in more than one way Tongue

612  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Maybe] Selling v. trusted Legendary account on: July 03, 2016, 08:20:32 PM
Still looking to sell. I would like to draw your attentions to the reasons stated previously in this thread as to why this is a great purchase.

Please ignore gwapo. He is mad I didn't sell him the account for $100 so he can use bitmixer on it, and is trying to now prevent me from making a sale.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what does a bitcointalk account have to do with bitmixer?  Just curious, and thanks in advance...
613  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL! Whales need cheap Coins! on: July 03, 2016, 03:38:35 PM
I don't think the halving will do much more than it already has....but definitely hold, price will at least double in the next year or two. Just keep putting in spare change and watch it grow Smiley buy in the dips (like right now)
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 03, 2016, 02:59:22 PM
The smart way to gamble is just don't..

This is the smartest thing to do... In a best case scenario, you have a 50/50 chance. That's not taking into effect the fact that most btc gambling sites lie about being fair.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make a 100,000$ with an ICO on: July 03, 2016, 01:04:36 PM
This is the greatest post I've read this year - most relevant to the times right now as well. More people need to read this!
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 03, 2016, 01:14:29 AM
Gambling is a dopamine-fueled risk; obviously it's going to be fun when you might profit...OP, what nonsensical thread topic is this?

620  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: PC Gaming Raffle - Win $100 worth of Origin games! on: July 01, 2016, 07:51:59 PM
Shooting this to the top; I'm still looking for more ideas on how to best reorganize this raffle (if needed).  Anyone have advice on how to create the most trustworthy raffle in a similar manner as the one I have?
