881  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a game developers on: May 17, 2016, 09:39:02 PM
I'm not a game developer or anything so I'd like to start this post by apologizing to you.
However, I'd like to be a 'beta tester' if there's a possibility that you'd need some honest reviews.
Goodluck to your friend's game Smiley

Pal,the game is not even in its beta releases now and you already want to be a beta tester .You can't be for real ? Tell me more about game testing, everyone loves game testing.

What's wrong with what he said?  I think he is 'for real', the game creators can always send him a message asking to test when the game does reach beta.

"Tell you more about game testing, everyone loves game testing"

I'm just guessing here, but I don't think everyone loves game testing.  Being a tester isn't as glamorous as it sounds, and repeatedly bumping into random walls or picking up and dropping an item 100 times gets old fast.  The reality of game testing isn't just playing through the game, but rather trying to break it - which usually involves hundreds of hours of boring, repetitive actions.

Why someone would wager $20,000 on a basketball game is beyond me...

...seriously I'm in awe right now, what a dumbass  Shocked  Hope he wasn't married or with kids...
883  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to [Suspicious link removed]? on: May 17, 2016, 08:57:47 PM
What sort of website was in the title, that got removed?

If you aren't a newbie, why would you post a 'suspicious link' in the title of a thread about how to 'double a few BTC's'?

The only legitimate way to 'double your BTC' is through smart trading/investing.  You can instantly double your btc through gambling, but most sites aren't really fair, despite their claims of 'provably fair! we swear!'

My advice:  if you're creating a website (it seems like you need developers), make something good and profit that way (through ads or service fees).  Create a site that offers something in need, so people use it Smiley
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: May 17, 2016, 08:32:53 PM
gambling = instant results

investing = might take years for results

gambling = win or lose a set amount (for example, if you bet 1 BTC you could either lose & have 0 BTC, or win and have 2 BTC)

investing = lose everything, or win unknown amounts (for example, a 1 BTC investment into altcoins could leave you with 0 BTC of scamcoins, or 100 BTC years down the road if said altcoins explode in popularity)

In conclusion, I would almost always recommend investing (once you've done enough research into what your investing in).

But sometimes we just feel like living dangerously  Cool ...I almost always lose when gambling though, so stick with investing now.
885  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: May 17, 2016, 07:39:49 PM
the price of one BTC breached $100k

Damn...so you wouldn't even sell your bitcoin if 1BTC=$50,000?

You must not have much...or already lost a LOT  Shocked
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ETH holders sell? on: May 17, 2016, 07:28:30 PM

Millions of dollars worth ETH is waiting for the dump, be careful.

...and millions of dollars worth of BTC is waiting to dump, too...I don't understand what that statement is implying?

^^That's exactly how you miss the boat. Fortune favors the brave!!

...double up or quit The only card I need is the Ace of Spades Ace of Spades Ace of Spades!!

"double up or quit"...so you're saying you missed the boat too, and now you're trying to get him to bail you out?  Tongue
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (ANN) Netcoin has gone POS! With PIR & OWI on: May 17, 2016, 01:36:32 AM
LOL, malware on Cryptopia?  What would someone gain from making such claims...regardless of the fact that every exchange poses risk of losing one's funds (from poor trading), cryptopia has been around longer than many of the exchanges you see nowadays, has a tight-knit userbase, and most importantly doesn't succumb to hosting half the shitcoins you see pop up, explode, then die out on other sites like yobit and their ICOs.

Cryptopia FTW  Wink

PS. that quttera site is 100% BS
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BOMBCOIN BOMB PoW/PoS on: May 17, 2016, 01:17:48 AM
Watch this coin pump at a percentage in the hundreds or thousands, in a few weeks or months...typical scam coin Smiley  I'd say I'm sorry to those who invested heavily, but you really should have seen this coming from a mile away...horrible coin with a horrible ANN; literally nothing special about this.  Hopefully the dev didn't make off with TOO much, though  Undecided

@EVERYONE

New Team Members

I would like to announce that we have New members of CryptoCoderz Has accepted a few new Members.
Welcome aboard CryptoDigger, m33lucky, and Monoxide.

Client Control System

The CCS is coming along very well, and is nearly finished. It will need to be tested before official release. However we do not foresee any problems with it.

Cryptopia

ESP is first in free voting and if we stay in first we will be added next month. However we are number 9 in paid votes that takes place every week. We might be able to get on sometime this month if the community all votes with DOT. We hope to see ESP on cryptopia soon so more people can get ESP.

Just added 50 votes to the free vote section.  Will save a few hundred karma votes for later, seeing as how we still have nearly a month to go...

Btw, thanks for the guide.  Will be working on that tonight!

893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: May 16, 2016, 04:25:46 AM
Only 5 hours left for paid voting - I spent 50,000 DOT already :\

anyone else wanna go in? That'd clinch a listing for sure, and a lot quicker than waiting 30 days  Tongue

Already did 66 times we are first now!!

Awesome - wish I hadn't done paid voting now (which was closer to 40,000 DOT, not 50,000 i lied) since you can only choose one coinvote a day.  Spending some karma would have been easier, but oh well Smiley

No problem...I personally just spent 163,000 DOT and we are now in first place by 1 DOT.  It is up to the community to keep us there for the next 4 hours.

Yowza!  Looks like I'll have to throw in some more Wink

...but I wonder what the difference between 'round votes' and 'total votes' is...hope this doesn't mean we have to start a whole new round again, seeing as this 'casinocoin' has 100,000 more  Shocked
894  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟 VegasCasino.io 🌟 Viva Las Vegas Baby! 🌟 on: May 16, 2016, 04:07:54 AM
Are you going to offer risk free bet again? The last one was quite good and with the final of the champions and european league coming soon perhaps that could be a good moment for you to put up such promotions again

What's 'risk-free' betting?  I didn't think betting was risk-free...or we'd all be winning Tongue

Cryptopia seems to be the only exchange still trading UIS...why did all the other exchanges take it down?

low volume i guess, this coin was in clinical death
now with great dev (nzsquirrell) and new community grow... all is changing

luckily Cryptopia works well, addition to other is goal to work for

Cool, thanks for the reply.  Looking forward to where this coin goes, now that a new community is being established.

It's not just in my head. Mind you, isn't everything in our heads?

Some people are able to say (seemingly) "negative" things which are actually useful to know, constructive.

Some people have nothing to say except "scam", "garza" or "xpy".

There's different value in those statements and some have no value at all.

And you will ignore them all again, and miss the fact that you are investing in a coin lead by a guy who "innocently" robbed by garza, yet still managed to work with the guy who "ran" the data center that didn't have miners or pay the electric bill, and then be shocked when we have the same result.

I'd like to correct you on a couple of points...

1) I didn't hear them the first time around in order to ignore them - I simply wasn't listening at all (my bad).
2) I am listening now, but I am being selective.

All of what you have said, I hear. As soon as I see the word garza/scam I kinda switch off.

Did you notice how some can get their point/questions across without using these stop words? THESE are those worth listening to, their questions, their points. Some of them are very good and have caused me to research those areas myself.

Are you guys even arguing over anything or just addressing various hypotheticals in what seems like an endless pit of pointless semantic nit-picking?  Where is this conversation even going, LOL
