From the Coinad thread ( Carlos L. runs the site ). some one saying site is up but I try all day but its not working for me whats happening any here for comments
Just checked.. appears up... but no new ads, seems logical for the moment... It goes down for 7 minutes every 3 minutes. Does he mean every 10 minutes, or is he sarcastically saying it's down permanently?

So, you are selling domain + logo + idea?
What is the idea?

Why does 'alt-ernative' have a dash in it? Is it some other pun I'm not seeing, or did you really just expand 'alt' which is already short for 'alternative'?
In my mind, this seems similar to writing 'math-ematics'.
The dash is intentional it's an ambiguous title Intentionally what though? Ambiguously ambiguous... if there's some deeper meaning, I'm not seeing it. "Alt" refers to altcoin Which is short for "alternative coin". Sorry, I just personally find this strange, how you've expanded a contraction back to it's original word, but put a hyphen in it. Again, I say 'math-ematics'

Okay thanks.
I'm confident that in 2024, it won't really matter much either way.

How long do the various methods take
If you hurry and deposit now, your great grandchildren might be able to do some trading before 2062. No guarantees though.

Personally i don't buy the whole "GOX WILL DIE" scenario, i'll tell you what, Gox will NOT die. Yes they are incompetent and have hurt the bitcoin community and themselves but one thing that's clear is they made ALOT of money and they are survivors.
Today there was a video released of Mark Karpeles, he was walking outside the office holding a frapaccino and an umbrella, without a care in the world not giving a shit. The guy is a fucking survivor like it or not and Gox will be back.
If you have Fiat in GOX, i would buy the shit out of bitcoin and make 50%-100% instantly once withdrawals resume. The withdrawals will RESUME for sure it's just a matter of time. So far news in reddit hint for the withdrawals to resume within this week
Nobody will use gox even if they recover. The trust has been lost forever. I doubt that is true. They'll continue to hook new people, who haven't even discovered bitcoin yet.

Count me in, 0.001 BTC.
Does this count as a valid bid (auction was listed in XBT)? I'm not sure if this a serious question, but... XBT = BTC BTC = XBT Also, the auction is not really official anymore, since as you'll notice, the end date was passed a long time ago. Make me an offer though and I can put your ads up since no one has taken the spots yet. I guess I'll call an end to this auction in 2 more days from now.

I basically got my money out months ago, but I decided to log in to Mt Gox today just to double check, and found I had $1 USD in there. So I put an order in for a bitcent at the $95 level

I wish microwallet.org would just let me deposit more than 0.025 at a time.
I would caution anyone against using sites like this for anything other than a temporary storage of the small amount of BTC one gets from these faucets. Look at what happened with Inputs.io, which is just the latest of many examples of this... If you are unfamiliar with this do a search for "inputs.io" on this forum. Yes, your advice is sound for the average visitor to faucets. But for an administrator who pays out FROM microwallet, it is a bit tedious to fill it up every day, given that they only let you send small amounts. I'll put it on a timer

unless they sell services but they have no experince in most things sorry for the rant but its annoying when people claim to be young and have enough experince to make well over 50 Bitcoin in such a short period of time without buying from a exchange.
This is most perplexing. There are so many teens with entrepreneurial spirit, most definitely capable of putting together a website or 3. Just one example: Zhou Tong. Made truckloads out of Bitcoinica, and has moved on to domain registration and other businesses. Some people may hate him, but you can't deny he made tons of money before his 18th birthday.
