201  Economy / Services / Re: [SELL] [TOP QUALITY] Every Graphics Do You Want on: January 04, 2014, 12:59:30 PM
I'd need to see more (and better) work to consider it. I need a logo doing but 0.1149 is a lot unless the logo is decent. Do you have any more samples?

The prices are temporarily low because i need to get first customers. Smiley

Anyway i can do a preview and after u can choice to give me this work or not. Ok? I'm sure of my quality works. Cheesy

I think it would help if you uploaded a portfolio of your past works. Even stuff you didn't get paid for.

Some of the $5 logos being done on fiverr.com are of very good quality. Granted, you only usually get a low-res JPG for that price.

also it's a plus if hosted in north America rather than in Vlads basement in Russia.

Oh yeah, that ought to help you avoid being spied on or flagged as a money launderer.

Stay away from the evil Russians or anything outside the safety and security of the United States.

thanks again to all of you guys. isnt BTC-E in russian hands?

Please note that my post was 100% sarcasm, and that BTC-e is by far my favourite and most recommended exchange. I will update my post.

Personally, I recommend actively avoiding wallets or exchanges hosted inside the US.

Nevermind, coin still not launched yet?

205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your next trading move! Mine is... on: January 04, 2014, 11:32:13 AM
Psychological barriers really only count much first time around, they're very weak when crossed previously, next biggie is $2000, but $1500 could be significant.

Also it's very different from when we basically only had one big dominant exchange (Mt Gox). Nowadays it's less significant if only ONE exchange reaches a breakthrough price. It's not really that significant unless 2 or 3 of them do.
206  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Domain] High-value XBT domain names on: January 04, 2014, 11:26:40 AM
I guess I should hurry and offload all my worthless btc*.com domains.

I hope that's sarcasm lol if not you can give them to me Grin

Yes, sarcasm. Although I only have 4 or 5 of them anyway.

Interesting.

I guess XBT does have a certain aura about it.

All part of the move towards wider adoption.

The ironic thing ofcourse is that OP himself failed to use the newer term:

Payment accepted either in fiat or (and preferably) BTC and will be routed through a trusted escrow.

So if I bring my coding skills for my 50%, what do you bring, for your 50%?
211  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] bitcoin.com.au (Domain) on: January 02, 2014, 02:30:29 PM
Hi. Why are you selling it?

What happened to the site that used to be hosted on it?

Please go to the post you linked, and read it again, then come back here and see if your thread still makes sense.

I sell tiny fractions at many different points on the way up, and buy tiny fractions at many different points on the way down. As I read elsewhere recently: Biggest noob mistake is putting everything on one (or two) trades.

I also keep a spreadsheet of all my trades, to keep very close eye on my average buy-in price over set periods. So I know at a glance if I'm 14% up, or 82% down.

I use the same strategy on LTC/BTC, LTC/USD, NMC/BTC, NVC/USD, XPM/BTC.

The same thing might happen, if there is ever a transition into mB.  Psychologically, this might act as a 'reset' where Bitcoin is viewed as Cheap by the general public.

Everyone can transit to mBTC if he feel the need. Should people know about Satoshi unit ? Definitively

but now most of peoples going to move in mBTC and its better then Satochi unit and most of seniors peoples now about Saotshi but new don't no too much about this Grin

Later there will be the same problem with mBTC. Satoshi unit can solve this problem once and forever

Except the stuposhi is awkward in relation to S.I. units so people will probably still be debating this in 30 years. Just like people still argue over metric vs imperial after all these decades.

the new 'Franklin' note is just a synonym for a hundred-dollar bill.

They could call the new currency 'Franks', and just to be different, they could spell it with a 'c'.

If you need more pics next time, please, open a new thread because I want to post my proposals.

Thanks very much, I'll keep that in mind.

Do you have any of your pics posted online?
219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens to Bitcoin value when block reward drops? on: December 06, 2013, 05:27:57 PM
The block reward will be halving ad infinitum? 1BTC -> 0.5 BTC -> 0.25 and so on?

Correction, the block reward will be halving ad 1/infinitum Smiley

my father has been working all his life and could not save anything

I just want to focus and comment on this part specifically, because it instantly reminds me of the book "Richest Man in Babylon" and specifically, the part about investing 10% of all you earn.

I personally believe pretty much anyone on the planet can invest a tiny % of their income, even if it's not 10%.

Even the poor Indian child who earns $2 per day sewing clothes... if she can survive on $2 a day, she can survive on $1.98 a day, and invest 1% of her income. That % put away builds exponentially, and always ends up significant if you only have the discipline to stick to the plan.

Bottom line, I believe anyone on any income can save if they choose to.
