The officially accepted definition of a liquid market is one in which 1% of the coins/tokens/porkbellies are traded per day

okay we've got a classical-official-formal definition ... 1%/day
$ 311,982    or $3110/day
196,231 or 1961 un/day

so if the UNOverse can muster 100 heavy traders to buy/sell 20kg/day each then we achieve 'a liquid market'

FINE PRINT
and only in these numbers, +100 traders flipping 20kg each, wow big money $50 dolla, some.win/some.lose, but that's the market, kicker it gets tighter every halving!
NOTE: we are looking to distribute this high volume figure across 7-10 markets ... so if you can handle $5/day you're a heavy hitter ... welcome to the big leagues!

John did say when the time is right and the coin is mature he will dox himself, and that he is a P2P and Crypto veteran of over 20 years. So I hope that helps Pablo.
This is a rumor. Besides it's too risky without regulation in place for crypto-currency developers, pools, etc. I have to support my family and I am working in a gray area. I am the biggest risk taker amongst all VNL investors @ 200K USD invested so far in it's development so there is no room for additional risk. Additionally I see this as no more than a publicity stunt. Not a single coin that DOX'd itself has made a positive difference. For Dash I feel it's making things worse for Evan and the coin as a whole. Cool

Thank you for your support.

i don't think anyone disagrees with this position.
DOX'n a dev ... an anon dev is rather pointless.
also as mentioned the State awaits with fanged teeth.
(crime coding code that they can't decode)

but keeping an active anon avatar is another thing.
just be safe about method of access.
5123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BARR] The Price of Bitcoin Jumps on News of BARR Launch on: November 04, 2015, 06:13:16 PM
the "we" refered to in price support references a specific group of people or all people participating in this thread who decide to help support the price? im guessing any coins acquired through dumps on buywalls will be burned for BARR.

Jase Money what bag are you holding?

Barr did an pretty damn good review of qualified candidates ... did it miss your coin of choice?

It was a test run.  More to follow.  Make your case for the coin you're wishing to burn.

XAI and FRAC have had positive results ... but both were fair coins (relatively) and suffered from dev abandonment yet still had solid market performances ...  not the hot for a week then dumped.  KEY the same history too, and this weeks numbers show 3 of 3, not a bad program!

This, i hope, is a long term project so may the cream rise to the top of the list.  So far 3/3.  Why the whine?

5127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FractalCoin community takeover and new website FractalCoin.us on: November 04, 2015, 02:03:16 PM
Runpaint your getting desparate now buddy. Rofl the barr.me devs should considor putting you as far away as possible from that project because you are bad news pal. Unless you are one of the devs in this case i would avoid barr.me like the plague

Runpaint this isnt a thread for discussing banx is it you have your own thread for that and we know how well that went for you. Im here because i just caught you lying to other community members and thats what im highlighting. So stop changing the subject.

Timmy,

Save some face mate.

1.  FRAC was a coin in trouble, so far the BARR involvement has brought attention to the coin, a price increase (rise in BTC value), and the network has improved.  A good thing. And Runpaint gets some credit there.

2.  Who's desparate? Check the mirror ... your mirror.  And that is a reflection upon Banx as you are a rep. of Banx.  This is PR 101 stuff.

3.   Is the banx network working?  The FRAC network works ... reflect up that too ... the little unknown coin called FRAC is a healthier network than BANX worth millions.

4.  Your concern should be proving any critism of BANX wrong by getting the product to work as claimed and prove it's value by having it traded on multiple markets.

Regards,
BN

5128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TGC][ANN] Relaunch Tigercoin - Official thread on: November 04, 2015, 11:44:17 AM
Bitnodes actually seems to be lagging behind at the moment.
The best thing to do is to use:
Code:
addnodes=108.61.10.90

When I cut and paste that into the console I get this:
Method not found (code -32601).

What am I doing wrong? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

using console try
Code:
addnodes=108.61.10.90 add

do you know how to do config files Klaus?
might be easier.
5129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TGC][ANN] Relaunch Tigercoin - Official thread on: November 04, 2015, 11:42:47 AM
wallet up to date
could some one pls send me 0.0001 tigers to make sure will send back if you need
PM for addie since it is 'not kosher' to post in the thread Wink

i'd withdraw from cryptsy to test ... but ... yah next order of business get that wallet unlocked Cheesy

Thanks a lot for the wallet version and the node... i was tired, 3 days deleting all, adding nodes and down again, trying to sincronyze my wallet.
the version 1.2.0.3 Works fine, the TGC i mined at iSpace at oct 29 and 30 (i stop mining, wallet problem = no transfer) was credited in my account normally when sync.
i will send you some tigers, in recognition for this work. Just a simbolic gesture, i not have a powerfull hash.

thanks Wagner!
We are on the same chain Smiley

i'm getting payments from iSpace without issue for several days ... so the network looks solid and stabilizing.

need to notify coinwarz/cryptsy

5130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All altcoins need this formula on: November 04, 2015, 11:05:53 AM
x=k*p*y   k=1/v

x = total coins
v = coins/sec
p = average value of the transactions
y = total number of transactions
To alter blockreward amounts.

interesting no coin has tried to use # of transactions / ave value :/

is this a sited economic theory?
5131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [RIP] Altcoins - "It was a thing" on: November 03, 2015, 04:50:21 PM
hey what doesn't kill ya ... makes ya yadda yadda.

i know a fat lady and she's not singing ... but the field is tighter.

wanting to launch a new coin ... best of luck ... better to bring something new to the table ... kinda tough since the ETH theme basically means the NXT level is both a network and operating system all wrapped in a blockchain.

but why bother with creating a new network when you can just pump an asset?
5132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update to 0.10 Wallet - Merge Mine w/BTC! on: November 03, 2015, 04:18:52 PM
I know this is off topic, but I really haven't been having the best luck with syncing a full node for XMR(Monero) I bootstrapped the blockchain, and then there are still ~130 days behind left to sync. Every time I try to let it sync the daemon eventually becomes non-responsive and I've still not had access to my 2 coins I bought. Other than that, it looks like a great thing, overall.

not off topic.

at this very moment btc has a market cap of $5.8 Billion (funny i remember it being under $4B not but a minute ago) ... let btc deal with the constant inflation issue amongst themselves.

now the hot items of this Fall seem to be ETH, before that dash, or even LTC, etc ... the NXT new thing ... well what about the tech that has the most real world field testing, and the most capital, and most adoption, hence the very best R&D lab ... wouldn't that be the safer investment?

so what you are encountering with Monero is typical of what the Neo-Scrypts / Bleeding Edge Code Bases will cause.

yes cool ideas, cool new tech, but what bumps in the road will there be for their code, and even more importantly their networks?

UNO is basically bitcoin with rapid acceleration to maturity (or low inflation now) plus fair launch and fair market trade exposure (which the other 2 contenders failed to achieve).
5133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitBean | Innovative PoS | Scalability | No IPO | No premine -New Dev Team on: November 03, 2015, 04:04:03 PM
"50 Billion BitBeans. That cap will not be reached for another 95+ years"

"Blocks which are found through staking are static blocks similar to PoW. Each PoS block found will provide a reward of 1,000 BitBean."
block target time is 1 min ... and 1440 min/day.

so around 400M new beans per year. (rough math)

problem:  lots of inflation in the first years
benefit: after the initial years BITB becomes rather low inflationary yet allots for growth.

so it is a case of take your medicine early ... have a health coin later.

so this is not a quick road to riches but a smart/wise path to long term wealth.

Looking forward to seeing you at the NOTE/UNO market.

5135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update to 0.10 Wallet - Merge Mine w/BTC! on: November 03, 2015, 06:32:03 AM
here's an interesting article, although I don't agree with it of course.
http://bitcoinhivemind.com/blog/chance-of-success/

http://bitcoinhivemind.com

1 min reading brief:

1. future event determined contracts, aka 'bets', aka derivatives.
2. some new wikipedia where edits either (cost you money or make you money)
3. bitcoin

combine all 3

so it is a cool idea if you ignore the assumption that BTC is the only form of digital money, it looks like any crypto asset can be assigned as settlement in the concept this one project just deals in BTC.

=========

speaking of shorting or futures
yeah RUBY is in a classical to hot for reality up tick

the above 'hivemind' differs very little in concept from ETH or EXP ... the benefit with these 2.0 are that the 'protocol code' is embedded in the blockchain and not some 'wiki' server

it is wise to keep abreast with the 2.0 sector, because UNO is an excellent type of token to act as the 'locked-in' escrow asset

==========

"Bitcoin has gone wild today"

yes it has gone a bit looney ... +$100M ... my favorite stat of the day was seeing stellar trade volume shrink to nearly nothing compared to the field it ranks with ... why?  Because it is an asset 96% controlled by a classic corporate structure (likely has +$1M payroll expense also) ... the numbers telegraph that they are responsible for most of the volume and when BTC is up they can not afford to float their BTC in wash trades less someone take it off the table ... so it looks like they just dryout the market and halt their normal routine.

right now btc is up 30% 7days ... and UNO is tagging along up 23% ... my guess is that once this very long run of green weeks is topped off you'll see a jump into the reserve/low inflation assets ... so BTC up UNO up ... BTC down UNO up ... not bad Cheesy

==========
7 exchanges trading UNO ... Cheesy ... i'm already looking to see if the UNO base pair market might expand out too ... say to a reputable fiat exchange in Asia or Brazil or Argentina or we make one in NZ Wink
5136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update to 0.10 Wallet - Merge Mine w/BTC! on: November 03, 2015, 12:09:54 AM
data is beautiful!
look at all those lovely itty bitty dots

"such small community" they say .... LOL!
checkout coins like RUBY ... trying to hit $2M and was just recently worth less than UNO ... last i looked it was under 1800 total addresses.

NOTE: the gif is only the top 1000 ... uno has in all 13306 funded accounts
5137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NYC] New York Coin FORUM on: November 02, 2015, 03:58:31 PM
Is there any dev interested on takeover NYC?

People can become confused available supply is: 108,847,792,659 NYC and specifications are:

SPECIFICATIONS

    Algorithm: Scrypt
    Block Time: 30 seconds
    Difficulty Refactor: KGW
    Max Coins: 100 Billion                    <---- overwhelmed

BLOCK REWARDS

    2 test blocks (block 0: 88 NYC and block 1: 907,477 NYC)
    Block 2-100,000: 1-1,000,000 NYC
    Block 100,001-200,000: 1-500,000 NYC
    Block 200,001-300,000: 1-250,000 NYC
    Block 300,001-400,000: 1-125,000 NYC
    Block 400,001-500,000: 1-62,500 NYC
    Block 500,001-600,000: 1-31,250 NYC
    Block 600,001+: 10,000 NYC                       <-------current  1632000 block aprox.

From my point of view, This coin need a New Dev that can do the next things:

1.- Cut supply.
2.- Do a decrease on ratio.
3.- Add POS
4.- Increase block time of 30 sec. to 1 min or 2 min.

These 4 things at least

Does  has any suggestions anyone?

NYC needs TrollProof Devs
Im behind any dev or devs that are interested. A team would be great. Its a long shot but could say, The Netcoin Team, or the trustedcryptoteam or another group or team be petitioned to take it on?

BTW thanks for all the cheap NYC lately.

Wait till btc ATH and you will have some people interested in being NYC dev.

Timing is all...

1. keep the network alive.
2. this is a smaller cap dust value coin +100Billion is actually a good thing
3. once the core community shows up then flipping to POS (say 10-18 months out)
5138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitBean | Innovative PoS | Scalability | No IPO | No premine -New Dev Team on: November 02, 2015, 03:35:29 PM
well the give away can't hurt ... much.
roll with it.

but in general 'give-aways' haven't shown much return on cost
so it is a well tested idea, that does not work well
but if you put the right spin on it it can work

again
hope for the best but expect little

Hope this 0.42 premine brought hendo joy. Anyway life of 42coin goes on but hendo is not amymore a part of it - i think all agree with me! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=399658.msg7021190#msg7021190) :Note locked thread can't quote the normal way:

mind you there was no block explorer prior to discovery:

Block 2 goes to 0.00000010, not sure when 00004200 reward kicked in, but pretty sure who mined block one Grin

remind me the highest price reached by 42 coin, it was something like hundreds of btc for 1 42 coin, am I wrong?
