May miss out on this weeks airdrop, cryptopia placed me as manual withdrawal lol.
What does that mean? Why is that? Means they place you under manual review to make sure you aren't exploiting the exchange. how exactly does one " exploit the exchange " ?

Why after 2 november no more 3% airdrops?
Because after that day there is no more money left to burn. ... and everyone who believed in BTX is rich. indeed sir ,have to keep the faith

How much do you need to qualify as "a fucking rich gentleman" thesedays?

I'd been a bit worried about how much my overall crypto portfolio has actually been going "down" as measured in BTC value lately... even all the while it's continued to go UP quite a bit as measured in DOLLAR value terms. In previous months I'd gotten used to seeing BOTH measures going steadily UP: so this was a concerning change, something I felt I needed to pay attention to, figure out what's up... Looking into it, I could only conclude that maybe I'm too heavily exposed to XMR...? In other words, Monero "lagging" and lately "only holding" it's recent steady $45-$50 range is perhaps solely responsible for this "actually going down in bitcoin value" total portfolio, all the while BTC itself has been mini-mooning after the successful hard fork? Uh oh...! Then, believe it or not I was actually considering 'cutting my losses' (or more accurately cutting lack-of-gainers?) I started thinking about moving some of the XMR back into BTC/BCH... Sacrilege!! BUT THEN, I came here to this trusty good ol' Monero Speculation thread and saw ALL the TROLLS had come BACK trying to PLY their TRADE! LOL SO? Crisis averted. Leaving everything alone. This Is Fine... HoneyPony? Carry on... P.S. I estimated that -- for me, and for my current overall portfolio balance -- XMR would *only* need to achieve about $66 price in dollar value to re-gain ALL the "lagging losses" that it's responsible for, in my whole portfolio... i.e. for the BTC measure to return at least to where it was previously and the "dollar value" number to go still higher. That seems more than easy enough to achieve, to me... never mind when XMR actually finally gets to three-figures $100+ ...it'll be Party Time, indeed in my opinion xmr should be worth 300 ish the zcash scam is finding gullible new investors daily and i just cringe when they tell me how great it is ........

I see reducing btc holders rewards is good. Reducing peoples byteball rewards from 20% to 10% per round is not good. They bought byteballs on the understanding they would get 20% per round. I don't think changing the rules is the thing to do regardless of the theories of how it will be better for them eventually.
You simply can not change the rules a once person buys on the understanding of an already stipulated set of rules. This is regarless of whether you feel it will be beneficial for them in the long run.
i think the byteball reward should stay at 20% because of a few reasons firstly ,i sold the idea to people as a good investment opportunity and now they feel like theyve been scammed secondly ,we want people to hodl the bytes and with the tanking price 10% aint shit anymore thirdly ,before the reduction byteball was the most lucrative and best airdrop ever ,at 10% monthly it falls behind the gains from other competing airdrops such as bitcore (BTX) paying 3% weekly compounded although ,i do think the reward for btc whales was much too generous and tony was right to cut them off ,smaller ones who didnt make much differnce have been hurt unnecessarily but the ones who were making tens of millions a month should have been disqualified earlier imo ...... anyone with $289mm worth of btc doesnt need an airdrop and are a risk to the health of the overall project

Hi everyone,
I have recently sold a large part of my BTC portfolio as I was spooked by a various sources telling me that BTC was heading for plummeting prices following 1st Aug and hard fork. They have also said that July will be incredibly unstable in terms of price as we approach the deadline. I a now sitting on cash and waiting for the best time t go back into BTC
Given that the price of BTC has risen every day this week and feeling that I sold unnecessarily and am considering buying back in. can you feedback to me.
1) Is the 1st Aug really going to be that bad and should we expect volatility in July as we approach the date? 2) Would you buy back in now or wait sitting on cash for a better price entry point in the coming weeks?
Thanks all
Matt
Many people did the foolish act of selling their bitcoins at the bottom price of $1800 due to the fear of hardfork. It was a lucky chance for big whales who were awaiting for that situation eagerly. They just grabbed those BTCs at very cheap price. Those who have sold BTC at that time are now regretting for their decision. We told them not to panic sell but they were greedy and expected to buy back moar btc..... Now it's the time to get back in before 10k and then 100k..... Don't let one bad call ruin your moonshine Gentlemen

Received, smooth as always.
Indeed, airdrop was very gentlemen!

This thread is getting spammed with "why dump, why no moon yet" and it's getting impossible to get info out of it, should we make another thread ? One that is moderated for actual information, updates, news and delete all these useless posts about the price or would that look bad ?
They'll cry SCAM! on a self-moderated thread, "censorship" of information and what have you, you know. No idea why people complain about it, got it all for free, if you like the project keep the coins and don't look at the price, if you just want some btc sell them at whatever market price and be happy with your free money. I like byteballs, my favorite free thing at the moment, running a full wallet and a relay node just for the hell of it. should also moderate the deeponion signature spammers too imo

Now that every single person here is quite stunningly rich, at least for tonight, has your level of engagement with crypto land plateaued a little or are you as turned on as ever?
Are you increasing your portfolios with wonderful shitcoins, staying put completely, selling like mad or too busy with ladyboys wiping their posteriors on your faces?
Speaking for myself the prices are now so far beyond where I began and there are now so many projects that I'm just sitting there and observing more than anything. The social science side of it is more interesting than ever, but the market bit feels a tad surreal now.
I'm in ballsdeep, just the way I likes it! Feeling quite gentlemenly indeed $13,800 in February is getting closer to reality but don't forget to hodl because the real moon will be in 2020 around the next halving... Not less than 50k, I'm calling it now boys!

I think it is working now. I got free byteballs sold them after my first airdrop at 0.23 and now I rebought at 0.11. now I am holding more byteballs as btc is only giving almost 0 byteballs in the next drop.
I used byteballs to pay money to some friends (which I owed them for travel or drinks etc.) works fine and they are happy with 10% + per month.
seriously this is better than mining...
Keep up the good work Soldier!

Im going to try for the first time ever getting some Byteball in the airdrop and I have a question: What happens if you do the transition bot thing and send the address before the actual airdrop starts? Is there a queue and I can send it already before it begins, or if I try to do it now before it starts it will get rejected and prompt you an error like "wait for the airdrop period to start".
I just watn to be sure that I dont lose my BTC. I will try to send it as soon as the countdown on the website goes to 0 but just in case I send it 1 second earlier, I want to know what would happen.
you need to do it ASAP

Perhaps next time, an innovative airdrop coin can relatively inverse credit BTC balances, giving an edge to smaller players.
that would make for an interesting distribution model lol i heard if all the worlds wealth were redistributed equally in a short few years the rich would own it all again anyway and the poor would have managed to make themselves poor again something about poor people not having the mentality to stay rich etc

there are a few whales with an ungodly amount of tokens only because of their btc balance 66k btc 54k btc 2500x10 btc are some i have noticed
whales of this size are a risk to the project and they make people afraid to invest because they could dump and send the price/liquidity to zero in a 1 click market order
we expect crypto to be volatile but thats just ridiculous it would be beneficvial if the small new users with no balance got a bigger incentive than btc whales who dont need it anyway
