1041  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: December 17, 2015, 01:27:05 PM
I think it is possible to get rise and fall down.
We don't know when will this happen.
All we need to do is enjoy the price of bitcoin now.

Might never see 400 again...
Very much wow wow ballooning up from big investment
I would get some when they're still in the 4xx in case we hit 5xx and keep going moonwards....
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Christmas Call: $700 on: December 17, 2015, 12:37:22 PM
I don't think we'll see a higher price then $500 by the end of the year. $700 is a too big of a reach for now.
I can see bitcoin reaching this price somewhere around 2016.

Nope. $700 or even higher than that are possible this month. It's just that today's volume showing us that this won't be happen. Let's see in the upcoming days. There is so called a sudden pump.

There are millions of coins in storage of wealthy people we can't control, they will probably buy more rather than panic sell anytime soon because they likely don't need the money.... But it would be relatively easy for the price to double in a flash or vice versa

The issue is, if it doubles when you have already dumped, you can't buy back in, so trade carefully

This is a marathon, don't sprint
1043  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My Dogs & My Car! on: December 17, 2015, 12:04:52 PM
Sold my 1 labrador, 3 huskies and 2 shepherds for $4000 usd and my Audi for $14000 bought at $350 doller wish my luck!!!!!

Where did you buy for $350?  Smiley
1044  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: December 17, 2015, 12:02:21 PM
I would sell all of my bitcoin If the price is 1000 and i need to spend it immediately

Many people said that here, and I think it's one of the reason why Bitcoin wouldn't stay above $1000 for a long time, if at all.

They can only dump all  coins once, after that they are out of the game and won't ever see 5k or 10k

This is not a game for everyone so as usual, the weak will get bought out early

Like the 10k pizza and everything since.....
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during december? on: December 17, 2015, 11:56:46 AM
of course we will reach $500 at the end of this year Smiley
may be we will reach $600 at this week and $1000 at the end of this year

to optimistic but i cant say we can break 1000 to big i dont even think we can break 500 seem close but far
i sure hope that if we cant break this week we wont this year for sure

Could break $500 within a good couple of hours trading in China

It will happen sooner or later, the problem is when we break 500+ I think we  might never see 450 again

It might only take days to get there
1046  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: December 17, 2015, 02:35:22 AM
Well, well, well... I am back for an update.

Originally (in Post #1) sold my house for approximately $400,000 Canadian, and got approximately 648 BTC in the transaction. BTC is currently at approximately $450 US each. This makes my investment worth $291,600 in U.S. Dollars. Now also note that the Canadian Dollar has tanked really hard in the last year and is now at a 12 year low, around .72c US. That makes my Bitcoin currently worth $405,000 Canadian!. I am currently up on my initial investment! I did weather the storm when it sat at $200 for a long time (and crapped my pants from time to time and did a lot of drinking), but now my time has come. For all those that laughed, we will see who is laughing in 2016!

Yet you are greedy, and therefore you will loose your assets in the future. Diversify your investment, and trade antizyclic! Do it with rebalancing your assets! And stop drinking!

Bitcoin are not lotto tickets, if they were we would all be on  the lottery forum figuring out how to win it....

Lottery is like a tax for stupid people, statistics prove  you are more likely to be struck by lightening TWICE Than win the lottery ONCE........

The odds of 650 odd bitcoin being worth a princely sum are very high by comparison
If you don't believe me, give me 650btc and I'll buy you 650lottery tickets
Wink

Would love to see the calculation behind your odds. Roll Eyes

Can't waste time on someone who didn't even take the time to learn the fundamentals
If you think the lottery is so great, why don't you swap your btc for lottery tickets?

You don't even believe your own bulls hit... Lol

Had you just done *nothing*,
The MLS® Home Price Index (HPI) rose 7.1% year-over-year in November.
The national average sale price rose 10.2% on a year-over-year basis

So yeah, horrible, still in the red, roughly $60k (not including the tax you paid on the sale), unless you're comparing what you did to selling your house for cash & stuffing that cash in a mattress (banks pay interest).

P.S. Please check in this time next year Smiley

Some people have stones and some people don't
Generally you won't get filthy rich by doing *nothing *
He might have gained 6% from *nothing* but will you say the same in a year if his gains are 600% or 6000%?

That house will still appreciate, albeit slowly
But it certainly doesn't have the potential of 650 odd btc
1049  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: December 07, 2015, 11:40:19 PM
if with just 10BTC can make you become a millionaire , what about people who own 1000BTC? i think they'll be a quillionaire  Grin

Yes, they will
But like any other tech... The people who were first to realise the potential are going to gain the most.... But btc is still relatively cheap and undervalued at this time

The only comparison I can make is the people who invested in apple  /Microsoft etc  or similar before it took off

There is still a huge advantage at this price but the price is being watched by the big dogs, rest assured, the price will  still rise exponentially

If you don't use or hold any btc, you will miss out but I don't need to say this to the people who already know, just the people who say they  "missed the train " etc

Imo the train is still here and anyone who doesn't acquire a %  if their classic asset will lose big.... The only difference is in 2013 max.... Was unexpected

The next rise will still make millionaires, they're is more important things at play now

Don't believe then don't buy..... Up2u

But plz don't cry of this is the last time we see $400§ for a full btc and you didn't buy any....

....
1050  Economy / Speculation / Re: 232 days before bitcoin block reward halving on: December 06, 2015, 08:13:00 AM
I believe the price will rise well before the halving
I think a lot of people are aware of it and indeed probably a lot of coins are being bought up now

I think this will continue more and more the closer we get to the halving

I expect strong buying in January when people figure out how much cash they have left after Xmas bonuses and gifts are all done

Also in March/April I think people will buy a lot because it's very close then and if they have spare cash end of  the tax year.... They might Park it in btc to get some coins before the supply dwindles...

Good things in store I reckon for those who haven't given away their btc as of yet  Smiley
1051  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if it's just one guy...? on: November 04, 2015, 08:38:05 PM
They need to lock 1 and 2 star account posters in a noob zone and make them post to each other for a while since 99% of them are just FUD spam disguised as rhetorical questions.  Of course one guy can move markets, have you ever heard of George Soros?  There's plenty of billionaires who can double the price of Bitcoin overnight if they want to.  It's actually surprising that it HASN'T happened in Bitcoin yet.  Whether it's one guy or a billion doesn't matter, it's the market, only money matters.

but what would he gain by dumping all his coins ?
if hes already a billlionaire he could easily afford to buy + hodl
without risking now and sell high later
1052  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if it's just one guy...? on: November 04, 2015, 07:25:19 PM
One guy would need to have more coins available than had already been sold this week to profit from a move like that

How is he going to buy his coins back?  If he dumps a million btc they will get swallowed up by the market and he has no chance to buy back in
1053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during november? on: November 04, 2015, 06:07:54 PM
Earlier today we had increased by almost $100 in a day.

Come on, guys. This isn't sustainable. We shouldn't have hit $500 this early into november when people were barely predicting we'd hit $300 by the end of october!

We can hit Any number mainly because supply is so limited and  the world is so populated

China alone has enough population without the rest of the world could send btc to the moon......
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 04, 2015, 12:55:06 PM
I believe he will wait for the prices to get lower down, and yes the people who are using bitcoins since long time they can still afford to buy as they have already made profits out of it, but for the newbie I don't think its a right time to buy.

I was a n00b the first time the price hit $400. Your advice would have been bad then and I think it's probably bad now.

I agree, this may be the last time to get coins sub 500
The next ATH will make the last one look like peanuts
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 04, 2015, 02:48:04 AM
This is too early to call ourselves rich and upper class. But I'm sure our bitcoin will be more valuable in next years.

I wonder what people will call upperclass in bitcoins in a couple years.

1-10 btc will be upper class?Cheesy

10-100 will likely be bitcoin elite very soon
100+ will be the Warren buffets  of the crypto world...
1056  Economy / Speculation / Re: All-in, bulltard, this is Gentleman, HODLER ONLY Thread on: November 04, 2015, 02:40:24 AM
I've been all in since 2013.... will this be another huge bubble that will lead to a ATH? I hope so but who knows

I am also  sunk to the nutz lol
This is the last chance to get sub 500 coins i think
The  demand is going to eat the supply and there will be no time to get on the moonrocket after it blasts off
1057  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 454$ on: November 03, 2015, 12:24:31 AM
The important thing is that the rise is steady. It could get to $450 within 48 hours, but it's totally useless if it goes down to $300 by the end of the week!

ppl are buying btc ,probably quietly and slowly
mt gox aint responsible this time Wink

wait til we get nearer the halving and they start getting desperate to get on the train
1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: November 02, 2015, 08:42:58 PM
could be a new ATH before the end of THIS year  Wink
like 2013 all over again ......
1059  Economy / Speculation / Re: $340 wot the hell is going on ? on: November 02, 2015, 08:31:48 PM
It is the end of the bear market, at least for now. If it is a surprise for you, I think you must be new to bitcoin

In the past bubbles $100 rises in one day(or que equivalent given the past value) were common

(and right now the price is touching 360 and increasing)

In 2013 I remember going to bed and the next morning calculating how much money my husband and I made while sleeping!  Smiley  Those were the days.  It looks like we are back to that kind of fun again!  LOL

You only make money if you sell. So the question is will you and hubby sell some this time to lock in profits? If so at what level does the selling start? I myself only held through the prior runs to watch a large pile turn into a smaller pile. I believe it can go higher this time, but also want to balance that view with locking in some well needed gains.

you can bail out anytime ,even now  Smiley
but i wouldnt
you might think your rich if we go to the moon in 2016 you should liquidate the lot maybe around $5000 each

but what if we go to the mars on the halving after that in 2020 ?

would you not keep a couple until 2025 to see if we go to the nebula ?

i will.............
1060  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: October 30, 2015, 08:58:22 PM

I'm thinking too that the price will be around $320-350 in the next few months, followed by a steady rise as we near the block halving and a steep rise just before a week or two before it. Of course, there'll be corrections but overall it'll be an uptrend.

I would've thought the excitement around the halving would happen long before that. Unlike regular news it's an event verifiable to within a few minutes known years in advance.

Not everyone has cash lying around years in advance so there will always be last minute shoppers hoarding all the way right up to the halving and maybe even after it

A lot of people can only buy a coin every month or whatever they can afford so the rich will buy in large chunks when they feel like it  and I think the poorer will buy bit by bit....
