This thread has made it through many price milestones from the single digits all the way up to $3,000+ this year.
I remember a few years back I think it was Stunna from primedice who was going to wager that a certain amount of BTC would be worth more than Berkshire Hathaway Class A shares. I think this is the year it actually would have passed that price
in the next stock market correction/crash/recession btc will be 1:1 with BRKA shares and go on to surpass them ......... Buy a bitcoin now if you are still thinking about it by 2030 it will be worth more than the average house Well, I'm was hoping that bitcoin become more valuable on that year but still I've little fear that bitcoin able to reach that point. But at the end , investing is just like gambling yet bitcoin is unique investment that able to prove it's existency over 7-8 years and their popularity is getting bigger since the value keep increase exponentially the important thing is not to panic ,everyday there is people spreading FUD to get you to dump your bitcoins just so they can can get them from you cheaply like everything else of value in this world, btc will move from weak hands to strong ones ..... keep this in mind and dont listen to the idiots

Monero wouldn't exist unless Risto funded it all along. You guys forever down play his involvement and his forum game employee he hired David Latapie.
It's Risto's coin guys. So yeah.. this does relate to Monero big time.
Hell he said explicitly he created it as a Monero Adoption Asset on the MEW topic. This forum game *IS* Monero Advertising by the very same people behind Monero.
All this does matter and we all know it. The only people waffling around bullshitting are the Monero shills in damage control mode.
Honestly i think all the little fish are scared shitless he will take his ball & go home. If Risto decides to dump all his XMR it's gonna get ugly and stain the reputation of the coin badly forever.
And he might. He's a mentally ill asshole.
Look at this topic he rips you off then says you don't "Deserve" your money. What is there to defend ?
You guys if you had half a brain would have severed your ties from him LONG AGO !
let him dump ,XMR is bigger than risto

We should really do something about the synch time though. Would it make synch faster if there were more hubs and relays? Do hubs and relays have to have public/static IP addresses?
If you figure out how to run one, let me know I can donate an i7 and Samsung 850 ssd to help the network (on 24/7 and connected to gigabit Fibre line)

What damage? Look at the marketcap, it is gigantic
nah. check the average forum. the one attraction alts have for people is that they're 'cheaper'. i've heard this directly out of people's mouths. i'll bet that's one of the main reasons for the alt bubble. if bitcoin was priced in mbtc, bits, or whatever someone going on coinbase wouldn't even give ltc a second glance. it's stupid, but people are stupid. they can't even be bothered to figure out the total supply of coins so they're more attracted to something priced at $1 with 50 trillion supply than one priced at $10 with a 1 million supply. i see it on here often enough. i think that's one of satoshi's biggest mistakes and it required zero effort on his, or anyone else's, part. Cant really blame Satoshi when btc were basically free for the first year or two, there was no reason to make the unit smaller and complicate things further...

I am very surprised that the coin which is distributed free has such high price at the exchange How so. People believe in the project, so they buy more than what's being sold. So, the supply is less than the demand. Just think, if you could buy $100 from a bank knowing you would get a 20% gain = $120. Wouldn't you be buying the special $100 bill from the bank? So, people are buying for the purpose of getting even a bigger bonus each distribution. It's also the reason most people hold the byteballs instead of dumping. Of course, people that just want to get free money dump them causing the price to sink right after the distribution which means I get more for a cheaper price right after the distribution. The problem is that you get 20% more, but the total amount in circulation is also much higher. That means that the price could easily fall by 20% or more, so you actually end up with a lower Bitcoin value by holding, than if you sold at a higher price. Right now the price is holding up quite nicely, it remains to be seen how long that lasts though. You still get the next air drop either way, if you sell or don't sell, the difference is just 20% vs price volatility risk. Who knows the price might rise, then the holders will get a double whammy! sell if you want to sell ,i would say byteball is in the top 10 within 90 days .... you might feel like all those potential millionaires who cashed out of bitcoin @ $10 and thought they were really smart ......

Once segwit is locked in, the price will double faster than you can get money sent to an exchange... Uncertainty is the enemy of all investments, take away the uncertainty and the whales will come back in, half the people that got bored and bought eth will come back to daddy If you are low on btc buy them now! In two weeks you will have to pay 5k+ if you don't buy now

Ethereum now is like bitcoin back in 2013. A huge speculation bubble is going to burst and some people are going to cry Anyway the crypto world is full of speculators who are waiting for such bubbles. $340 is still far away from $2600. We have 21 million coins, they have uncapped ~100mil or roughly 5x so 340x5 and your looking at 1700 Eth is still a scam though, nothing rises 4000%+ that isn't in a crazy speculative bubble But then the music stops, they're won't be enough chairs for everyone so make sure you get one and don't be too greedy because the crash will happen faster than you can react to it... Mark my words "nothing rises 4000%+ that isn't in a crazy speculative bubble"....BTC has done way more than that. And subsequently crashed hard....

I thought the dump after airdrop would be deeper.
Only a fool who doesn't understand the concept of compound interest would dump now...

btc's real utility atm is a store of value, settlement layer and trading pair.
"at the moment"... but that is a dangerous place to be in... if there's not something else creating demand (payment system functionality), then store of value can start looking like tulips anytime. Bitcoin isn't the only large public ledger. We need to get back to a useable payment system. Most people don't own lots of gold or diamonds or property either, btc will still be used for all the same advantages for the people who can afford it but unfortunately that will rule out the third world nations and probably coffee payments... To move x million dollars from around the world will always be worth the fee to some people..... litecoin would be more suited to the micro txs like buying coffee.... BlockChains will be linked eventually anyway so I think it will be possible to do atomic swaps without the need of an exchange...

The BTC/GBYTE exchange bot shows quite a spread between buy and sell buy bytes at 0.3669 BTC/GB sell bytes at 0.00984 BTC/GB
Massive dumpage on Bittrex already always better to hodl imo dont underestimate the power of compound interest and appreciation over time

they already did ........there is one account with circa 54k btc in it ......

Looks like 50 minutes left for snapshot Are you readdy to dump? you can dump immediately if you like ,but if you do you dont understand the power of compound interest ..... let the dumpers dump imo just means more for the rest of us
