1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: December 23, 2015, 07:25:43 AM
I see a possibility of Bitcoins reaching back to $350 if it goes according to the lines I have drawn in my charts based on what the markets are trying to cough out themselves this winter...

I don't see that possibility to be honest
I think sub $400 coins are probably gone 4ever
A lot of people will see News like this :
http://uk.mobile.reuters.com/article/idUKKBN0U60GQ20151223?irpc=932

I predict they will either hold what they have and maybe even buy more.......

1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: December 22, 2015, 06:10:01 AM
Drop to 350 and below is possible but I don't think we will see prices in the 200 range anymore.

With the upcomming block halving people must forget about $200 range prices. There is a fairly good chance that we'll see the price drop to below $400 for a short time, but it won't go much deeper than that.

I get the feeling sub $400 btc is gone, we are creeping closer to the halving every week and the price isn't really falling.... There maybe a slight dip in January sales spending and then I presume upwards or at least sidewards until the halving...
I can't see any reason for a big drop between now and the June halving, a lot of the coins are owned by whales who might be under no pressure to cash out ever so they're not going anywhere this side of the halving....
Time will tell... Smiley
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: Capacity increases for the Bitcoin system on: December 22, 2015, 06:03:22 AM
Wow really? I follow Bitcoin news pretty much 24/7 and didn't see this. Extremely bullish as hell now that the blocksize drama is clear and we have reached a consensus. Im happy to finally see progress. I think the option chosen is the best compromise.

how much blocksize?

How much would you like?
1025  Economy / Speculation / Re: drop it like it's hot. on: December 21, 2015, 12:52:45 AM
Dumps dont phase me at all anymore, Im in for the long run so it doesnt matter, Price will rise and drop but its still early days for btc. Too many people are easily scared into dumping.

Generally, those are known as weak hands, btc passes from weak hands to strong hands, just like everything else Smiley
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 20, 2015, 08:55:10 AM
I am pretty excited about where btc's are going, it's crazy how fast it was fluctuated over the years. Just a few years ago when the silk road was around they were worth 1 usd. Then when that crashed it soared up to 1200$, but quickly went back down to 300$. I wonder if people sold off there btc's when they reached there peak and actually found buyers, because for a buyer that seems like a bad investment considering how fast it lost that high value. It's not like gold where the price just goes up and stays up. It's still an amazing currency that can't be effected by government inflation, it's a currency for the people, so i would gladly turn my usd into btc because it feels safer then usd which is always printing new money via the federal reserve. Evil bank cartels can't be in control of it, the control is spread out amongst all of us. Pretty awesome.

Gold did what? Smiley
1027  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will it take? on: December 19, 2015, 01:04:06 PM
I think crypto will not take fully currencies in the world. but only as a currency for conversion. perhaps the next 10 years digital currency will have a portion of which is comparable with the currency in the real world.

There isn't any digital currency that will take over or even replace fiat currencies. It will be a great alternative for people who are open to work with it. The majority of the people will stick to fiat, because they don't know better.

credit cards beat cash already but that took a long time if the credit card was invented in the 1950's
crypto will beat them both, give it time ........
1028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during december? on: December 19, 2015, 05:29:49 AM
If price stabilize it might go ever 500
but i dont know for sure
I think it need time for a coin to be stable, but since there are less than two weeks left until New year i think that it will reach $500.
Yah maybe we are not sure that it will go to 500 dollars, for a little stable around 450 dollars that is fine with me.
In another side is also kinda expensive to buy a whole coin.

Its expensive to buy a whole kilo of silver or a whole Oz of gold or platinum etc

You can't blame the price of bitcoin on your not having enough money to buy one

If I didn't have enough money to buy a whole loaf of bread I can't blame anyone else so why should I  complain about whole btc being expensive but not every thing else?

I saw some nice gold 1kilo bars in a shop recently, around $36,000 each, but I didn't have enough cash on me so I couldn't buy one

Fuck that expensive goldshop for selling expensive gold bla bla...

1031  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will it take? on: December 18, 2015, 01:43:55 PM
In my opinion Bitcoin damages the profits of the central banks of the world. Especially the FED.
This in turn damages the profits of the 1% of people that use this system to make billions of dollars. This is definitely not good because those are the people that damage the economic system for the benefit of a few. When they realize that they can no longer continue their ways, they will most certainly ban Bitcoin.
This is the most probable scenario.

Can the network survive on 6.25btc as a reward + fees after 2020 is the big question

I think it can, the transaction fees will make up the difference and if a btc is 10k then it will not be going away after 2020....Smiley
1032  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will it take? on: December 18, 2015, 01:35:35 PM
i hope not too much, because there are chances that another thing in the meantime will be created and can be better than bitcoin

50 years like it was said seems too much, when the climbing for the adoption begins it will be spread in the world in no time, adoption at present should be much faster than in the past, info spread very fast nowadays

50 years is way too long, we'll know within 10-15 years if bitcoin has been a massive success or not.
Keep HODLING until then & you might be a very rich man.

You will know by 2020 halving whether the network is sustainable or not....
If tx fees won't cover the costs the miners will quit at that halving because there will be no reason to continue at a loss

Either the coins+ tx fees is enough or it isn't and they switch off... Smiley
1033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big Rally In Progress! on: December 18, 2015, 01:30:29 PM
We just hit a new 24 hour high with solid momentum and are getting much closer to the monthly high.
Big Rally In Progress!
How much higher can we go?

24 hour high does not tell us anything. We have many 24 hour high before, the price dropped from $1200 to $200.

What happened your old account?
You made a new account just to post negative comments lol
1034  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would happen if a group/person bought all the bitcoin in circulation. on: December 18, 2015, 08:15:45 AM
This hypothetical scenario would represent a massive transfer of wealth from the person buying the bitcoins to the people selling them.

Unless they are the same person, aka an exchange or massive pool
1035  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2k in january on: December 18, 2015, 07:59:51 AM
why do you think that the block reward halving will have this kind of effect on price?

We have the previous block halving to go by and we also have other alt coins to go by.  People are invested in the network before halving and after halving they change nothing, so the price goes up since the supply is less.

Market prices incorporate information as soon as this information is available. The future supply of Bitcoin is completely transparent. All market participants are able to react now.
A price movement only happens when new information enters the market place. The halving is not new information and should therefore be reflected in the price already.

Generally, the supply of anything being cut by 50% will spike the price

I drink beer so if I am told by the brewery there will be 50% less supply of beer in the world every day after next June..... I will buy a pile of it before that...... But maybe not yet

A month or two before June I would buy it....

500 shouldn't be too hard!
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] How long until $1000 per 1 Bitcoin? on: December 18, 2015, 01:25:06 AM
I voted Within 51-112 years.

Although I'm probably wrong. Perhaps it could be sooner. Just perhaps.

I think it can go sooner that much year it will go to 5000 dollars is we are lucky that bitcoin will grow.
I think in 2 years we will just reach 1000 dollars and perhaps it will just be stable around it.
If you said price will touch $1000, okay it's not big enough but you said we can touch $5000. Pretty sure it's too high. We will not touch $5000

Guaranteed to definitely touch $5000
Only question is when
Even if bitcoin becomes  a relic in the future 200 years from now
Many people would like to have one for sentimental reasons if it even reminded them if the past etc
You should see some of the worthless garbage that get traded in auctions for lots of money
1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My Dogs & My Car! on: December 17, 2015, 04:53:27 PM
Not sure if this troll or real. But selling your belongings to buy bitcoins - unless you are in a pinch and desperately need money to survive is never good sign. You should never do that.
Buy bitcoins with your savings alone, if you don't have any then wait or abandon thought about investing in BTC...

Lol, Clearly troll. Do you actually beleive he sold his car and dogs and spent it all on btc? I dont think so.

A lot of people are already  in much deeper than $18,000
I remember people taking bank loans out and they were buying up btc or putting funds into what later turned out to be ponzis and scams to make a profit way back when...

I'm sure many are still deep in the red and some will have given up on bitcoin altogether, others will hodl their last few coins for years getting to recoup losses in btcst and of  course a lot lost everything in gox, bitcoinica and several other expensive gambles....

1039  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My Dogs & My Car! on: December 17, 2015, 04:10:10 PM
I think this topic is a joke can't imagine hey sold such beautiful dogs.

There are no pictures, they might have been mangy mutts....
1040  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much will it go down? on: December 17, 2015, 01:49:28 PM
I think it will not go below 400 even when big sharp drop occur like last time when it drop from 470 within 1 hour to 400 around. 400 seems to be new buttom now.

I think your more than right
I guess when they break 500 they will stay above 500+ until the halving, or likely more than 500
