321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buying and Selling of Casino Accounts (Discussion thread) on: February 18, 2024, 09:11:14 AM
This is too risky and will end up with the account holder in trouble. Those who are selling their accounts may have just stolen the identity they use to verify their account. If it is really them, they would not try to sell it since it's too risky. Just imagine what would happen if that account were used for money laundering; the owner of that account would be in big trouble.

Although the idea is understandable that some may choose to buy an account since they can't pass the KYC and want to gamble on a certain site, that comes with the risk, and it's not advisable. There's a legal risk that's too high; one could end up in jail. It's better not to try it than be sorry.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 18, 2024, 08:15:51 AM
That's why it has become a mega thread because we are in the "gambling discussion" board. Some threads may have become pointless, but it's up to the mods to decide what to do with them. There are mega threads here that, despite being tagged as "mega thread," are very beneficial to the posters. For example, the NBA, Football, and Soccer threads remain open and mega since there are games or events on a regular basis, and people love to discuss the teams that are playing. We also get some information that we can use for betting.

Additionally, haven't you forgotten that most of the signature participants are advertising a casino? They are required to post on this section to gain popularity in the crowd. Even if mods close or lock a thread, there are still mega threads that will continue to exist.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Reymart Gaballo WBO Bantamweight Title (May 12) on: February 18, 2024, 07:21:55 AM
As a Filipino I will support Reymart Gaballo here, so I voted for "Reymart Gaballo by knockout".
Same here. But even if I'm not a Filipino, I might still bet on him as he has an impressive record. He's the underdog with very attractive odds, that's another thing.

Reymart is still very young, so there's a lot of promise for his career. Yes, that lost to another Filipino is a learning experience for him during that time. He was fighting one of the legends of Filipino boxing in Nonito and he is just unlucky that during that time, Donaire still can still pull the trigger. But Reymart has bounce back already from that L and now this year will have a great chance again to become a champion. Although every time you go to the champion's backyard and fight, you really need to win impressively and knock him out so that there will be no "home cooking" just like what happen to Manny in Australia against Jeff Horn.
That was two years ago, I'm sure he learn his lesson and as we can see on his fights after that, he had 3 straight wins, 2 are in KO and one is Split decision against his fellow Filipino Boxer. The last one is something very impressive, it's probably the reason why he was given a break on becoming a top contender against Jason Moloney. I believe it's a 50/50 fight but we are lucky that we can get an odds of an underdog.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hold in patience, nothing can stop the raging bull when it comes on: February 17, 2024, 11:45:41 PM
There are no more appropriate words than to be patient and continue to wait until that time comes because in the end when the bullish trend begins as it is happening now and makes some gaps to continue to be able to get even better things in the future then everything will feel very beautiful including with the portopolio that we have today.

Many people always say when in Investment actually buying and selling is an easy step but holding in the end is always the main problem and that is the truth because holding will be very hard to do especially when bitcoin experiences corrections and declines that take a lot of victims like what happened in 2020-2022 but in the end we must also realize it is a process that must be lived and we must remain confident in the process because no matter what when we make it through that phase and stay with hodling and trust for bitcoin then in the end the benefits will be obtained as we expected before.
With bitcoin, knowing it’s highly volatile, the biggest challenge actually is how to hold your coins patiently without resorting into panic selling due to sudden market corrections. Because admit it or not, our main goal here is to make continuous profits, so if we start seeing that the market suddenly changes its position and price decline will eventually happen, we tend to overreact and become emotionally bothered. That’s why some resort into wrong decision making and sell their coins earlier than their target selling price. Well, as long as they sell in profits, that’s still good enough but if only they were never distracted with its price correction and just continue to hold longer, they might have gained bigger profits when they decide to sell.
325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which sort of investor are you? on: February 17, 2024, 10:59:58 PM
There's no easy money in the world. All must come from hard work.
For me, as a trade, you need to surpass all the trials along the road because it's difficult to trade. All successful traders right now have a lot of experienced, ups and downs.
This is something that we cannot avoid when we are pursuing a career in trading and yes, it’s not all about profit.
Trading is very risky, one wrong trade can lose more money so make sure you do analyze and you know how to be more safe when placing your trade. Taking profit and cutting losses should always be your priority, know how to timing the market and be more patience with your trades, it will take time before you become a good trader but its worth it.
The safest option is not to trade when you think you’re not prepared for it. Don’t risk your funds by trying to trade when you know you are not that good enough. There’s still a lot of options left to be profitable, or just settle with bitcoin hodling, wherein there is less preparation and is less risky. In the end, you will gain the same  amount of profits if you just hold patiently a good amount of bitcoin.

However, if you have passion in trading, then take some risk. But always remember that trading is hard and tough most particularly for beginners. You cannot trade and expect immediate profits, that is now how trading works. You need to analyze first the market well and know when to trade and when not to, and most importantly, have sufficient amount of knowledge and skills when you decide to trade. Experience is the best teacher so always make time to trade not only to make profits, but to widen your experience as well.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: February 17, 2024, 05:17:47 PM
When you bet, you are already risking your money since the outcome is not under your control. It's a guessing game; when you are correct, you'll make money, and if you are wrong, you'll lose money. I don't think we are talking about profit here since that word is typically used by serious gamblers who take a long-term approach. The appropriate term for what we practice is to win, and most of those are just short-term wins. Regardless, we are still happy when we win, and we don't account for our previous losses anymore since we are just gambling for fun, at least for most of us.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Reymart Gaballo WBO Bantamweight Title (May 12) on: February 17, 2024, 01:19:16 PM
Gaballo's only loss came from Donaire, resulting in a KO. If he avoided Donaire, he could've kept his undefeated record. But nope, he went for the higher risk. With 22 KOs out of 27 fights, he's a tough dude for Jason Moloney, who hasn't won a KO victory since 2022.

The fight got announced recently, so we're waiting for the betting odds as it gets closer. Lesser-known fights don't attract bookies early, so it's tough to bet ahead. Both fighters got time to prep, and fingers crossed, no more delays. Can't wait for Gaballo to win this one!

Imagine both Gaballo and Ancajas winning, giving us two Filipino champs in the division. That'd be pretty cool, right?
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 17, 2024, 11:55:14 AM
I heard rumors about this but it seems like the PBA are not interested with it. Although I believe they already know that the league  is losing popularity, they still keep the current set up of teams, and worst it looks like one farm team is confirm added.
They will loss control if they will allow that. And in most industry, they already have business. If they will open for more teams, maybe other liquor businesses will also join and create their team, that would be competiting on their business. Ginebra and SMB are very popular in the Philippines, they own majority of the market so why would they allow their competitors to be popular?

If the PBA would like a change, they need to replace the higher management as I believe they are working just like a puppet, it's still MVP and SMB who are controlling the league, so they have the final say.  If there's TNT, will they allow globe? I doubt.
That is what competition is for, they can't monopolize it because this league is for everyone. If there's a lot of politics within the league, we won't be able to get talented players that will represent our country in the international competition. So if these two big team owners will not influence the decision of those who run the league, they can choose the best players to represent our country, regardless on what team he is playing.

Have you observe that when coach Chot was still in charge on Gilas, most of the players are from TNT, now that Tim Cone is the coach, he's also getting the SMB players, but the good thing is they won a championship, so people did not complain on that.

That's given I guess because it's not the league that are supporting our national team since they cannot afford it. As we can see on the international games, they are wearing the company name of either TNT or SMB, depending who help them in that competition. So yes, there's a big influence by these giant owners to dictate the officials of the league, and that influence will continue as long as there's no changes on the current rules and set up.

Without MVP and SMB, this league might also not be able to give a decent salary to its players, because I believe that once a player sign with the SMB or MVP team, they are given bigger salalry compared to other teams. They say there's a salary cap but it was only on paper, it was not implemented.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Step up your game before the game steps you down. on: February 16, 2024, 11:57:40 PM
As adults, we are already force to face the real battles in life. If you are weak, you will never see progressive changes in your life, but if you are brave enough, you will always have an edge over the others. Now, seeing the economy in a negative position, it's the best time that we have to establish our own source of income. Most especially if we are breadwinners, then we should always be resourceful and should not focus only on a single job.

Investing is the key. Have an investment that gives high probability of profits, rather than taking some risk and yet you will never have the chance to gain and benefit. Don't gamble on your investment, but always be creative to promote your business or investment so that if ever you prosper and achieve you desired profits, at least there are also high chances that you can share your investments to those people who are also interested to learn and be in profits in the future.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 16, 2024, 11:44:20 AM

Then the next game Klay would struggle? I hope he is fine and that gets his confidence back. That was a good win, twice in a row in Utah, that game was close but they still win in the end. Both teams are dying and living beyond the arc, good thing the Warriors shots with better percentage, so they won.

He might, that's why people call him incosistent now. However, we are not wishing it will happen, we want to see him back on his game like taking big shots as the playoffs is nearing and they need to come back to a good standing to qualify, and at least not to have a first round exit.

Wariors now is at .509... That's a start as their ranking now has already improve to number 10. They could qualify in the play-in with this ranking but it's not safe, as the last time I remember they are in the play-in, they loss to the Memphis. I hope it will continue to rise since they have a lot of role players now that could contribute, and overall, their 3 point shooting as improve as well.

332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make everybody to win in their crypto trading? on: February 16, 2024, 08:38:45 AM
No one trades to lose, but everyone is up for profits. However, the trading market itself is unpredictable, one might trade and end with profits while others might lose the process. But this is normal in trading since no one can assure trading profitability most especially that the market itself suddenly changes its position from time to time, making the price more incalculable. Still, a lot of aspirant traders rise everyday because of the promising profits one can experience in trading.

While traders can be in profits or at loss, this is because not all traders have the potentials to trade. Some are just trying hard pretending to be good traders just to satisfy their greed for money, and yet still end up losing their funds. However, others may have been really good in trading not only because they have the knowledge and skills, but most likely they have great experiences in trading that even if a market is unfavorable to trade, they can still find some positive ways to trade just to end their trades successful.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP telling people how much Bitcoin you have on: February 15, 2024, 11:59:54 PM
Bitcoin is designed to promote privacy and financial freedom, and sharing your investment details to others would mean breaking its purpose. You will not gain privacy anymore as a lot of the people around will surely monitor your investment outcome. It’s either to imitate you in the future or worst, set some plans of scamming you so they can steal your bitcoin, that is indeed very threatening for us. This is the reason why as much as possible, invest bitcoin on your own. Do not tell other people that you are currently working on your bitcoin investment, it would mean a success to you but for them, it would create a distraction on their part. Know what and when to share, and know when not to.

Bitcoin is a highly precious investment, and that you are responsible to keep its safety and security at all times. Telling other people that you have bitcoin will compromise your own safety, as well as the security of your coins.
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 15, 2024, 11:36:34 PM
$60k is actually very possible for bitcoin to reach before the month ends since the price seems increasing every day. However, due to bitcoin’s high volatility, I cannot give my 100% assurance knowing bitcoin is capable to move into its opposite direction surprisingly. Even if the market is very positive, that won’t be enough guarantee that bitcoin price will consistently experience a price increase. There are still unpredicted market crash or price correction that will suddenly appear when we least expect it, so always be open for that possibility.

For now, let’s not focus on how high its price will be in the coming days, but focus more on your bitcoin halving’s preparation. If you can purchase more bitcoin and store sufficient amount of bitcoin in your portfolio before halving comes, that would mean a very smart move while the market is still capable to provide daily opportunity.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving the economy with creative thinking. on: February 15, 2024, 10:48:25 PM
In a country where economy is being compromised and at risk, having the potential of a creative thinker will save them and will help them lessen their struggles in uplifting their own economy. So I really believe that with creative thinking and with good application skills, everything will perform just right. Although we can’t expect that every citizen will act as a responsible and a resourceful one, but if majority will adopt creativity and resourcefulness, I guess it’s highly possible to see a country turns into progressive and highly profitable one.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need more influencial women in crypto to help the gender embrace it? on: February 14, 2024, 11:59:29 PM
I don’t think it is. Women can already compete with men and there can be no more gender inequality as there are already equal opportunities and chances provided regardless of its gender. But maybe, if there are also good count of women crypto influencers, that will also motivate other women to explore the crypto market and experience the good side of it. While it can be more risky for majority, but it will serve as a bigger challenge for those who are into more passionate of taking risks and chances.

But passion and motivation is not enough. There should also be stable amount of finances or stable source of income so that if one decides to trade or invest and then lose eventually, he/she will not resort into quitting but will try harder to improve his/her performance in the crypto market.
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: February 14, 2024, 10:58:45 PM
First and foremost, they don’t have reliable skills and strategies that will make them profit from trading. So most likely they don’t want to take the risk and see their funds consistently losing. Second, most of their friends are losing from trading, so the eagerness to trade might be lessened. And lastly, they don’t have sufficient funds to start trading, and if ever they have, they are not brave enough to risk their hard-earned funds.

However, we can’t really push someone to trade just because we want them to trade. And it won’t give assurance that while others are profitable in trading, the rest of the traders will be profitable as well. Of course, our perspective in trading differs as well as our knowledge and skills, so it’s normal to see different outcomes when trading.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do cryptocurrency increase the standard of living on: February 12, 2024, 03:55:22 PM
Knowing fully well that there is so many uneducated people around the world, how can cryptocurrency increase the standard of living
Cryptocurrency won’t guarantee to increase your standard of living, but with the opportunities around you can have all the chances to do it as long as you invest and trade on the right coins in the crypto market. But always know that cryptocurrency will never be a get rich quick tool, and those who have made fortune have made extra efforts and even experienced sleepless nights just to gain higher probability of success.

However, while cryptocurrency can possibly increase the standard of living, it can also make you homeless and ruin all your funds if you invest without prior studies and research, and if you rely on social media influencers wherein majority of them are just doing it to create some hype, but in reality they don’t know that much about cryptocurrency matters.

It could have been fun if Butler was playing, and if he played, heat might have a chance of winning, or could be the opposite the celtics will dominate.
Buttler knows how to beat the shit out of Celtics for sure hehe.
Yes, that's why I was anticipating that Miami could give the Celtics a good competition in that game, but I was surprise when he didn't play. I was an early game so I wasn't able to monitor it completely, and just found the reason that he was absent due to personal reason, can't believe they allowed him.
And there's timetable of his come back yet. .. would it be another Wiggins?

Miami Heat Star Jimmy Out Versus Boston Celtics, Granted Leave Of Absence
Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler is out indefinitely because of personal reasons

This would have been a great chance for Rozier but the 6 out of 16 field goal is disappointing. Everyone except Caleb had below 50% to be fair to him but I expected better performance from him. I hope to see better in future games as he blends with the team more.
He can't lead the Heat, if there was a player that could lead is it's either Bam or Herro IMO.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 12, 2024, 01:17:19 PM
We have two games tomorrow and it's too early in my timezone, so I might not be able to watch it but I'm betting in advance.

First game Boston vs Miami
2nd game Sacramento vs Oklahoma Thunder.

This is a great match up, it's like a playoff match up.
Obviously, the favorites here which are the Celtics and Thunder could gain a lot of bettors, but I'm thinking it is going to be an entertaining game as Miami always play competitive basketball to Boston (except for the last time). Further, Kings vs OKC is quite a great match up too, they could meet in the playoffs if they'll be able to maintain their standing, so it's hard to guess on who will win, but OKC had a very decent home record.

Ypu might be right these could be playoff previews we are getting today.  I'm laying hard on the Celtics.  Shoukd be a good game but I don't think the heat match uo well and am not buying them being a contender.  Might be proven wrong during the playoffs but I can't see them hanging with the celts here today.  Taking celts -6.5
The line moved to -8 when Butler was reported not playing. And it should be easy for the Celtics to dominate, however, it was the opposite as it has resulted to a close game where the Celtics only won by 4 points, that made the Miami Heat cover the spread. It could have been fun if Butler was playing, and if he played, heat might have a chance of winning, or could be the opposite the celtics will dominate.

On the last game, the OKC vs Kings. OKC was able to bounce back, they are still good at home and Sacramento sucks on the road. Not the result I expected from them after beating the Nuggets on their homecourt.
