161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 18, 2024, 11:26:00 AM
I wasn't expecting both of them to be eliminated honestly. Instead my expectation was like they would advance but Real Madrid would stay out.  Grin  The quarter finals were really full of surprises.

Real Madrid are in comfortable condition in the La Liga now. The point gap with Barcelona is eight now and there is an El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu in three days as well. If Real Madrid win this crucial game they are obviously the champions which is what I expect to happen. Even if it ends up with a draw they should still be okay with winning the title. Barcelona just woke up very late in the league and it is too difficult for them to re-enter the race.  Sad

You're right, I thought the same thing about Barcelona and Atletico, and was almost sure that City would be able to beat them. But it’s not for nothing that Real are leading in La Liga, they show that the team is now very strong and deserves the semi-finals of the Champions League and deserves to be the leader in La Liga.

For Barcelona, all that remains is to simply play out the remaining matches and wait for a change of coach, for Atletico, the task is a little more difficult, but now that they can fully concentrate on La Liga, I think that it will not be difficult for them to stay in the top 4. So unexpectedly, out of three Spanish teams, only one reached the semi-finals.
After the results of the first leg of the UEFA  Champions League quarter finals were played, two out of three Spanish teams were leading in their ties while tye other was only able to secure a home draw in their own tie. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid were the two teams that were leading in their ties and because of their results, many people fancied them to reach the semi finals of the competition by either winning the second leg their ties or ay least get a draw which at the end they weren't able to accomplish.
Real Madrid who will play at the home of the reigning champions of Europe Manchester City for the second leg of their tie were the least most expected Spanish team to progress to the semi finals according to bookmakers but surprisingly, they did beat Manchester City on penalties to progress to the semi finals while Barcelona and Atletico Madrid were ousted from the competition. Football is regarded as the best sport because of the surprises that comes with it and I'm very happy Real Madrid did go through to the semis
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 17, 2024, 07:41:46 AM
Barcelona was eliminated, Atletico Madrid was eliminated, is it Real Madrid's turn? Dortmund played the most amazing game of this year. Atletico could do nothing but defend desperately. It was a deserved victory and a deserved victory. The Germans do this job great. If Bayern eliminates Arsenal, there may be two German finals.
I'm not talking about the club's that will make it to the finals. Let's focus on the present. Barcelona was home and also seen as an advantage to qualify but their outcome turned out to be against them. I think the referee, Istvan Kovacs was been faired towards both sides. Barcelona was leading, not until Araujo was issued a red card for tackling his opponent in the 18 yard box, it's been really a tough moment but the winning team will always prevail no matter what. The former and current Barcelona boss, Luis Enrique saw this epic comeback and grabbed it within his reach.
Luis Enrique is one of those who know the Spanish team best. Of course, this was an advantage for Paris Saint Germain. When Raphael scored the first goal, I thought things were over for PSG, but the changing game balance with a red card enabled PSG to pass the round. PSG advanced to the round and unfortunately Barcelona had to be eliminated with this defeat. In football, sometimes one mistake can destroy the entire team. Just like the red card that is deemed unnecessary.

Of a truth, I actually thought it is over for this psg side as Barcelona took the lead, but a quick turn of events change everything about the match, and into the favour of psg, though the Barcelona fan would be feeling hard done by the red card,  but to me it's deserving because he was the last man, but a big congrats to psg for qualifying for the semi final of the competition.

And as for atletico madrid, I just don't know what transpired behind closed doors that makes them performed so badly yesterday that got them eliminated, because after the first leg, everyone believe that they are going to progress to the next stage of the competition due to their record of having the ability to hold on to their leads, but that wasn't the case yesterday, and they paid for it dearly.
I also had the same opinion that since Barcelona were able to beat Paris Saint Germaine in the first leg at Parc des Princes, they'll definitely progress to the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League competition. My other reason why I thought Barcelona will win the tie was because they rarely lose home games in the competition and when they scored to first goal of the game to extend their aggregate lead to 4:2, I concluded that Paris Saint Germaine doesn't stand any chance of coming back into the game.
Ronald Araujo's 29th minute Red Card was what changed the game as Paris Saint Germaine saw it as a big chance to press for a win. Barcelona were lucky to finish the game with just 10 men if you ask me of their subsequent behavior after their defender was shown the red card. Their players lost their cool including the club manager Xavi Hernandez who was shown a red card in the game.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 15, 2024, 05:58:32 PM

This was a very interesting week in the English Premier League. Both Arsenal and Liverpool actually lost. And that has made Manchester City become the first team on the table.  I knew if Manchester City was given a chance, they would take that chance very well. And how both Arsenal and Liverpool lost against relatively weaker opponents is really out of my understanding. Both of them shouldn’t have lost.

Actually, both of them should have at least gotten one point from these matches. I thought getting one point was going to be the worst-case scenario for them. But somehow they have ended up losing. And now they are going to pay for the mistake that they have made. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are on 71 points and Manchester City is leading them by two points. and don’t worry all three teams have played the same number of matches.
The result of the games involving the top three teams in the English Premier League over the weekend has been a surprise to many bit to Liverpool and Arsenal fans, it's been a shock that most of them are yet to recover from while to Manchester City fans, a result that they're very happy to witness because of the impact on their team's quest to win the English Premier League trophy for the fourth time in a row. After Manchester City defeated Luton Town to climb to the summit of the English Premier League table on Saturday, many people had expected Liverpool and Arsenal to follow suit by getting all three points from their games on Sunday but to the surprise of football fans across the globe, none of the two teams were able to get a draw in their games.
Now that Manchester City are leading the English Premier League standings, I think it'll be very difficult for any of Liverpool or Arsenal to get past them again and that's because Pep Guardiola's Manchester City over the years have shown that they're not the kind of team that'll relinquish their lead at the top of the league table when they have less than 7 matches to play. Liverpool and Arsenal still stands a chance because they're just two points behind Manchester City
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 15, 2024, 05:49:42 PM
Their 3-2 defeat against Barcelona was also a great disappointment. Mbappe is the most valuable player of this team. After he leaves the team, Paris Saint Germain may have problems in the offensive line for a long time. The name Osimhen was being talked about instead, but I don't think he could be as successful as Mbappe. If PSG advances to the second leg in Spain this year, maybe they will play with more hope in the semi-finals.

I don’t think so and Mbappe leaving PSG will not make them not to be the best in the French league. They’ve dominated the league for long now and I don’t think they will be replaced easily by any club in the French league even though Mbappe leaves. Mbappe is indeed their biggest strength in that club but his departure won’t cause them any trouble. They will feel it, but will adjust after some time and fit into it again and continue to remain the best club in the league. No other club can sign quality players like they do in the Ligue 1 and that had made them standout amongst all other clubs in the league now.
Kylian Mbappe already gave announced that he's going to leave Paris Saint Germaine at the end of the season but the debate that his departure will significantly affect the performance of the French champions come next season I know will be very difficult for the team but that doesn't mean that Paris Saint Germaine will fail to dominate the French league when the France international leaves the club if you ask me. The current squad of Paris Saint Germaine without Kylian Mbappe will still remain the most fearsome in the whole of France but definitely not in Europe but with the presence of Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint Germaine team will pose a great threat when facing any European club. Kylian Mbappe is without doubt one of the top three best players in the world at the moment and that's why no body can write off his impact in the Paris Saint Germaine team which is why many people believes the team will likely underperform when he leaves the club.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 15, 2024, 05:41:51 PM
Barcelona will play against PSG in the Champions League competition. It is the second leg and it will be played on the 17th of April. And Barcelona has an advantage on aggregate score. It is 3-2 in favor of Barcelona. the good thing is the second leg is going to be a home match for Barcelona. So everyone is expecting Barcelona to win this one. But even though everything points toward a win for Barcelona, I have to say that Barcelona will have to be careful because PSG is going to try its hardest to get to the next stage of the Champions League competition. Because you know they do not have any other competition to care about literally.

On the other hand, Barcelona still have to think about finishing in the second position in La Liga. But I think if Barcelona can keep Mbappé quiet it is probably going to be enough.
It's not an easy match for Barcelona but I think Barcelona can do it because they were able to win the away game against PSG in the first meeting. playing at home is a big advantage for Barcelona to beat PSG again. I think Barcelona only obstacle is Mbappe but Barcelona also has a strong squad. It was good to provide fierce resistance against the PSG players. Barcelona would have scored 3 goals. If the second match only resulted in a draw, Barcelona would still be able to progress to the next round.

even though Barcelona also has to think about its position in La Liga and is worried that it could be overtaken by Girona, Barcelona is also still playing well in Laliga and currently Barcelona is 5 points ahead of Girona, which means Barcelona can focus on the UCL first, even if they lose 1 match, Girona cannot overtake moreover, Barcelona is still preparing for the UCL match next week, so there is still time for Barcelona to prepare themselves.
A one goal advantage against a top European team like Paris Saint Germaine isn't enough to determine if Barcelona will win the second leg of their encounter or not but because they got that 3:2 win away at Parc des Princes and would now play the second leg of that tie at the famous Camp Nou, I think Barcelona stands a good chance of progressing to the semi final of the competition ahead of their French opponents.
Xavi Hernandez have been absolutely amazing with how he's managed the Barcelona team despite the limited finances to buy quality players at the club and will even attract more praises to himself of he can be able to help his team reach the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League competition this season. Winning the competition I think will very difficult for Barcelona but if they can reach the final, there's every possiblity of finishing the season with Europe's biggest club trophy.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: April 15, 2024, 05:33:13 PM
Yes, sometimes we noticed that some of the gambling site are  scam and if you don’t take a look at it very well you may fall into the victim, but the best thing that I will actually advise you is that is, there is a lot of legit gambling site that is legit which has been mentioned in different times in this forum or you just have to do is take your time and look for a better company sites little about it, let it be this forum And you can make use of them like the crypto casino. They are all legit.
Sometimes you can check the rating on Trust Pilot so see if the new site you are trying to use is genuine or not. It is better we do little research about gambling platforms so that we could know the one is good to use so we don't get deceived after making deposits and playing different games and it's time to make withdrawal and the system starts telling us that we are not fit enough for the withdrawal telling us to make another deposit for one to be eligible for the net round of withdrawal. It is good to do proper check of some of those site so that we can safe our money from getting scammed at the end of the day.
Since I learnt of Trust Pilot, I don't struggle to know the genuinity of a gambling site again and just like you said, that's the easiest site that one can access a gambling site wether it's a scam site or not. I'm not a gambler that's always gambling because I rarely get time to gamble because of my work but each time I'm not working probably as a result of break, I'll always use my free time to gamble and that was how I got to gamble with a site I never knew was a scam site. It was after that experience that I decided to find the best way to examine a gambling site and that was how I came to know about Trust Pilot. So my advice to any gambler out there is that they should never gamble with a new site they don't have the full knowledge of their genuinity or risk being scammed at the end of the day.

I mean the season is over, Real will not lose that much points we know that much. However, getting closer means something good for Xavi, which makes people want to keep Xavi and not really have any other manager try for that. I get that it may feel like it is a big deal for Xavi to stay and I understand that Barcelona fans are super happy about him.

I think he already said that he is only willing to stay if he doesn't get financial trouble with transfers, he wants a player like Bernardo Silva or Kimmich which would be the reason to stay for him, that means Barcelona president has a single job, which would be getting either of those. Bayern seems to not want Kimmich and not signing contract with him, so that should be a possible transfer.
This season's La Liga trophy almost certainly belongs to Real Madrid, Barcelona as its closest competitor is very difficult to catch up with the points collected by Real Madrid who are still consistently maintaining their performance, especially since the two of them have quite a big difference in points. Barcelona is in its best moment at the moment, the players are really enjoying the improvement experienced in the last few matches. It is recorded that Barcelona has played 13 matches without defeat since Xavi officially announced his resignation as head coach.

Barcelona will lose an important figure in the club if Xavi officially leaves in the end, the club must try to comply with his request if they don't want to lose a coach who has a philosophy that has been very synonymous with Barcelona's style of play. I think that is the only way to make Xavi stay at Barcelona for at least the next season.
Considering the current points of Barcelona and Real Madrid coupled with how the both teams have performed since the start of the season, choosing Real Madrid as the favorite team to win the Spanish La Liga shouldn't be a big deal if you ask me because they've easily been the best Spanish team since the start of the season. The two teams will face each other in Sunday for what will be the last El Classico of the season and if I'm to bank my money on the game, I'll definitely go for a Real Madrid win.

Pedri sends out strong statement on future amid claims Barcelona willing to cash in on midfield star
Pedri has spoken about his Barcelona future following rumours that the club could listen to offers for the injury-plagued midfielder.

These are some really good players for Barcelona. I hope Barcelona does everything that they can to keep them. Because if Barcelona for some reason decides to sell these players, I don't think they will be able to get a better player with the money that they will get if they sell them. Knowing the financial situation of Barcelona, the player is definitely making a bold statement. Barcelona, A club that struggles to register players, should definitely be very interested in keeping the young talents that are proving to be great. Think Barcelona will keep him. We have seen loyal players stay in Barcelona even after not getting paid properly. And it does seem like he is very loyal to Barcelona.
If for any reason Barcelona lets go of their young Spanish midfielder Pedri, I think it's one decision they'll definitely regret in the future and my own opinion is based on the potentials the young star have already shown. Barcelona in recent years have not been financially stable and that was why they've not been active in the transfer market so selling off a good player like Pedri will give them more issues as to find his replacement. The young Spanish player have been sidelined for most part of the season because of injuries he's suffered but that shouldn't be the reason why Barcelona would want to let go of him.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 15, 2024, 04:57:37 PM
Guardiola probably didn’t even expect that he would receive such a handicap, in just one round, both competitors lost points. In general, something incomprehensible is happening to Liverpool, why did they lose to Atalanta like that, and even if someone says that Klopp wanted to focus on the Premier League, then why did they lose to Crystal Peles? In any case, Klopp found himself in a very difficult situation, and now his end to his career may not be as colorful as we expect, but this also happens.
Guardiola and Manchester City were given big gifts from two competitors on a single day and it's quite strange that both Liverpool and Arsenal lost points at their home stadiums. These shocked defeats give Manchester City a first position that looks to be far for them because they need to have three conditions at the same time, they win and two competitors lose points. It is what happened on Sunday with Liverpool and Arsenal and Manchester City now have biggest advantage in the race.

They now are in similar situation like Manchester City recent weeks and will need many conditions to take a first position back. Manchester City after one day last week, have due diligent chance to win Premier League again.
Arsenal and Liverpool were unable to win their respective matches on Sunday though I already saw it coming because some of the things that causes fear and anxiety in title competitors is when you see your title contender win a game before you guys will play your own game because when Manchester city won Luton by 5:1 on Saturday, I knew that either Liverpool or Arsenal will find their matches difficult to win and surprisingly the both of them lost and gave Manchester city a 2 point advantage over them and like i said previously, now that Manchester city have reclaimed the top spot in the league table, they will do everything within their capacity to maintain it till the season ends.

One thing I like about English football is that the league is very entertaining as no one could believe that Liverpool and Arsenal will lose their matches respectively but however, it is not yet over for the both teams more especially for Arsenal because they still maintain the highest goal difference in the league so if peradventure Manchester city draws any of their matches and Arsenal continues to win more on high goal margin then if there comes a tie between them and Manchester city, they will take advantage of the goal difference and win the trophy so let await more drama towards the ending part of the league.
I don't want to believe that the reason why Liverpool and Arsenal lost their league games over the weekend  was because they were under pressure caused by Manchester City's win against Luton Town on Saturday. Both Liverpool and Arsenal knows that their their in strong contention for the league title with Manchester City and should be more determined to win their own games after Pep Guardiola's men recorded a win in their own game on Saturday instead of playing their game under pressure.
Liverpool and Arsenal were poor in their games and I think they should be criticized for their poor performance instead of hiding under any form of excuse for their very poor outing. The battle for who wins the English Premier League is not as interesting as it's been since the start of the season because I think it's now obvious that Manchester City will win the league

AS Roma's match against Udinese turned tense last night and they had to postpone the match yesterday because AS Roma defender Evan Ndicka almost died and was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital to get quick help. Bad things like this we can't even predict for AS Roma. also didn't want to force the match because one of the players collapsed and wished Evan the best to recover quickly and return to AS Roma and not have any trauma from the football he played.

I admire Daniele De Rossi, he as a coach is able to make wise decisions. He wants his players to calm down first and not force the match when one of his players is suffering. The latest news is that the AS Roma player has managed to get through his critical period and currently still needs to undergo further treatment. Who knows how long this match will be postponed, but what is clear is that AS Roma will play the match calmly and enthusiastically if they know that their defender will recover soon.
I wasn't able to watch the game between Udinese and AS Roma last night because I forgot the game time but when I searched for the highlights of the game this morning, I saw the news concerning the collapse of AS Roma's defender Evans Ndicka which led to the game been postponed till further notice. It was a good decision from AS Roma players and management to discontinue the game and show respect to the concerned player. I also read a statement from the club this morning where they sent their a message of support to the player while wishing him a quick recovery.
AS Roma are trying to finish the season in the top four of the Italian Serie A table and would've increased their chances of achieving that aim of they had won the game against Udinese last night but will now have to wait till when a new date for that particular fixture will be announced.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 15, 2024, 04:28:43 PM
Bayern Leverkusen clinched their first-ever league title with an impressive unbeaten streak of 43 games. What an accomplishment for the team and their coach! We're all thrilled for Xabi's success, especially considering it's their debut season. It's a true underdog story, and we love it. Now, the challenge is to hold on to their top players and maintain their momentum for the next season. Let's hope they can continue their undefeated run in their upcoming matches. Leverkusen and the team did an amazing job, now anything looks like possible for them, including winning the DFB Pokal and UEL.
Xabis success is actually one of a kind in the fact thst it's his first time as a coach and aswell his first time in this team and yet he was able to achieve much that hasn't been achieved by my other coach in the German bundesliga in a season with such n average team but then with Xabi it's been made reality and the records are actually rear across Europe as it's only a few times a team has been able to stay unbeaten in a season especially amongst average teams.

Most times we get to see such records it's with elite teams which when in their best and good forms, we could actually say achieving such is something that's actually expected of them so they actually did that which was expected tho it's not easy or common in most cases and that's why achieving it with an average team has to be even more spectacular than it would be when achieved with teams such as the ones regarded as elite and tops in the league, Munich has been considered all round the season to be the teams to stop and break Leverkusens unbeaten record but interestingly it's wasn't the case.

What has made this record of Leverkusen very irregular is that both in the UEL they are yet to suffer a loss still and even in the dfb polka they have same record such that it's even looking like they may end up securing the trophy at the dfb polka this season, i must say they have conquered much more than Munich has done in the greman league wholisticlly as this record is almost not there for Bayern Munich.
Earlier today, I was analyzing Xabi Alonso's incredible success story with his Bayer Leverkusen team and stumbled on a news report that was talking about the kind of managers that's managed the young Spanish manager during his days as a professional footballer. What I read in the report made me realize that Xabi Alonso had played under some of the greatest football managers in the history of football like Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Rafael Benitez, Carlo Ancelotti and Vincente Del Bosque.
I think it was under those managers that Xabi Alonso was able to gather the much needed experience that he's currently using to flourish at Bayer Leverkusen. Playing under those managers gave him the opportunity to learn different tactical approaches to modern day football of which out of the experience, he was able to coin his own style of football. Xabi Alonso if you ask me will continue to grow from strength to strength while breaking more football records

There's seven more games to play in the Spanish La Liga before the end of the current campaign which means that there are 21 more points to fight for which is why I don't think that the fight fir who wins the Spanish La Liga title at the end of the current season is totally not over until it's finally confirmed that the current league leaders have successfully won the league title. Real Madrid who are top of the Spanish La Liga will host second placed Barcelona on Sunday and the result of the match I think will determine if there'll be a nervous end to the league campaign or not.
Should Real Madrid win that game, they'll extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points ahead of Barcelona but if the Catalan club succeeds in the game and get a win, they'll reduce their points difference behind the league leaders to just five points which will make the title race take a new twist.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: April 15, 2024, 03:42:00 PM
Al-Hilal managed to beat Ittihad FC in the final of the Saudi Super Cup with a convincing score of 4-1, and actually this was predicted because the one who was predicted to be able to stop Al-Hilal from winning their first title this season was Al-Nassr but in the semifinals Al-Hilal managed to maintain an unbeaten record and advanced to the final and beat Ittihad.
Apart from the Saudi Super Cup title, Al-Hilal is still competing in the Saudi Arabian King's Cup and again Al-Hilal will face Ittihad FC in the semifinals with their potential opponents in the final between Al-Nassr and Al-Khaleej and whoever their opponent is, Al-Hilal is the most favorite to become champions in this competition, so Al-Hilal's chances of winning the treble winner this season are wide open, because one title, namely the Saudi Pro League, is definitely theirs because no team can shift its position in the standings with a very large difference in points.
Al-Hilal's playing the best soccer I've seen in the Saudi League, maybe ever. They're smart, decisive - it shows. Super Cup? Already theirs. King's Cup? Looks like it. Defense is a wall, offense scores at will. Ittihad was demolished in the final, wont be different this time.

Honestly, they're on track for the treble. Nobody else is even close in the league. This dominance, its not good for competition, but its incredibly impressive. Al-Nassr, everyone else, they've got some serious work to do. Al-Hilal owns this season, and the rest of us, we're just lucky to be watching.
What's happening in the Saudi league this season I think best describes the phrase that "quality football isn't bought with money" and that's because when the season started, Another Saudi club was easily picked by many to go on and win the league title because of the quality and world class players they were able to assemble. Al Hilal's consistency this season is as a result of good coaching by the manager as well dedicated players who truly want to wants to play for the club and that's why they will always give their best whenever they're on the pitch.
At the moment, I don't think there's anything that's going to stop Al Hilal from winning every domestic trophy that's up for contest because their quality of football is absolutely unmatchable by any of the top teams in the Saudi league

The inconsistency around Ajax is actually not making sense again to me because i had taught after their recovery they were going to make sure they get to make up for all the times they were unable to get the best of results and be at the position they should be on the league table, this season as been such that Ajax has not really been able to achieve much with their form and i can't really tell what the problem has been.

At some point i felt ajax were going to make it to one of the elite leagues by next season but sadly they have continually declined and at some point risen again which isn't a good form for a team that wants to get to the top of the table and probably win the league or gat to qualify for an elite league by the end of the season. PSV has been the most consistent team this season, if not for a few losses it were actually looking possible for them to get to win the league this season unbeaten but them it's at the point now where they can't be able to stay unbeaten but they still comfortably top the table and have good chance at winning the league.

Ajax may not be able to make it to the top four because they are some good points away from the team at number fourth position but are not even performing well enough to be able to cover up for the gap reaming and aswell as the time they have got remaining to the end of the season, so i have to nurse some doubts if Ajax will be able to get to the top four if which isn't a guarantee to be in the champions league except they are at number three.
Ajax poor form this season in the Dutch league have surprising to many and for a club that's regarded as the most successful in the history of Dutch football, many are still struggling to rap their heads around the club's current poor form especially the club fans.  The club management must try and find out the main problem that's causing Ajax to underperform and find solution to the problem as quick as they can so that the club will come back to winning ways again. Right now, Ajax are 33 points league leaders PSV and 12 points behind third placed Twente after 30 league games so it's almost impossible for Ajax to win finish the season in a position that'll guarantee them European football next season. Despite Ajax poor campaign in the current season, I believe they have all it takes to bounce back to winning ways in the nearest future but that's if the club management can sort out the club's issue and profer a lasting solution to it
Feyenoord I thought will be the best team in the league this season that Ajax is underperforming but that's actually not what's happening in the league as PSV are currently leading the league 9 points.

However, Manchester City cannot be complacent about the luck they have had, they must maintain consistency so that they are not pushed out of the top of the standings again. One small mistake could make Arsenal or Liverpool take first place again, even though Pep Guardiola squad is used to various pressures, they still have to be wary of the surprises that mediocre clubs can create. The intense competition for the Premier League trophy will certainly continue until the end of the season.
Guardiola knows exactly what mindset need to be applied in this situation. They have experience to go on winning when the title race approaching the end. We will see that they will have winning streak till the last game. Guardiola won't let his players make unaffordable mistake that can cost the the league title.

What makes Manchester City being a better team in this title race is that their players used to experience the intense of title race pressure. The know how to makes their weaker opponents to feel inferior on the pitch. Their ball-possession is not only a tactical display, but also psychological tactics to make their opponents feel frustrated to play against them. This is why I think they have smallest chance to have slip-up compared to their two rivals.
Pep Guardiola is not new to situations like the current battle between the top three teams in the English Premier League table on who'll win the league title at the end of the season. He's on several occasions had similar race and in most of the times, his team goes on to win the English Premier League. When Arsenal and Liverpool were exchanging positions in the top two positions of the league since the start of the new year, my opinion was that they should never allow Manchester City to climb to the top of the league if they really want to win the amongst themselves but no ow that they've given City the chance of going top of the English Premier League table, overtaking Manchester City i think will be very difficult for either of the Liverpool or Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola with his experience will definitely want to ensure that his boys remain at the top of the league till they're confirmed as the champions of England again.

It's time to change the squad.
There was a rumor Rashford will join PSG, so if PSG want to buyout Rashford for 75 Million Euros, they will have enough money to buy Leao. Rashford isn't a Rashford that what people were know, he's not good anymore.
If I were a coach of Man United, I don't want to sell Rashford for buying Leao. For me Rashford has been proven as a useful player for Man United. Meanwhile Leao has no guarantee to adapt well with Man United game. Honestly, I'm not really sure that Leao will easily adapt with EPL and Man United. It is a big challenge to play with Man United, many players already failed in Man United.

To buy Leao, it is not enough with 75 million Euros. Some rumors said that AC Milan only wants to sell him with 100 million Euros at least. Man United needs to add 25 million Euros to sign Leao. IMO, it is not a smart way, Man United gambles with Leao. It is better to keep Rashford who knows well Man United game and EPL atmosphere.

Changing squad is a good idea but it doesn't mean to sell all players. Some players who can show stability in the performance, should keep in the squad. Rashford is one of the good players, he should ne put on transfer list. He can be the next player who has a big role in Man United attacking like when Ronaldo was in his prime.

One of the biggest mistakes Manchester United will make in the summer is selling off an important player like Marcus Rashford and replacing him with AC Milan's Rafael Leao because I don't think the decline in form of Marcus Rashford is the reason why the club is underperforming at the moment. The England international has shown that he's a very talented young footballer with the potentials of becoming one of the best players in the history of the game of football.
Manchester United's problem I think is their manager Erik ten Hag's poor tactical ability and not because of their players. He appears clueless whenever his tactical experience is needed to win games and until the club gets a better manager, I think they'll continue to complain about their poor form

Leverkusen are continuing to perform miracles in this dream season with Xabi Alonso.  Smiley

It says 41 matches but it must have become 42 as of the West Ham victory. This is just magnificent! It is a big joy to watch every single match Leverkusen play now. They just don't know the meaning of losing. Xabi Alonso is aiming the maximum level ball control and pressuring their opponent as much as possible. This system has worked very smoothly until this point as they will probably announce their first ever Bundesliga trophy today.  Smiley

As for the Europa League trophy, why not?  Grin  They look like nobody can stop them.

I believe with xabi Alonso they will still win the Europa League, because I don't see any club that can stop Leverkusen in the Europa League competition this season now, because even Liverpool fuckup in the first leg against Atlanta and still believe they will still win Liverpool against, I don't believe Klopp anymore even in the league, they are still mistakes because I believe they can't win the league this season again now, he will just leave the club without getting trophy they should just try and win the Europa League but he will be very difficult to win the tittle because now Leverkusen are the favorites of winning the trophy. Xabi Alonso has been in excellent form from the beginning of the season he has not lost a single match this season, and I believe they still have another trophy to win before the conclusion of the season. I am only waiting for next season to see how Leverkusen will perform in the Champions League with Xabi Alonso.
The chances of Bayer Leverkusen reaching the final of the UEFA Europa League competition I think is very high considering their performance when compared to their opponents in the competition but what I don't know is if they will be able to beat whichever team they'll meet at the final of the competition should they make it to the final.
Bayer Leverkusen is currently leading their quarter tie against West Ham with a 2:0 scoreline and I think they'll win that tie when they travel to England for the second leg of the encounter. They'll meet any team that wins the other tie between AC Milan and AS Roma in the semi finals and I'm very optimistic that Bayer Leverkusen will beat any of those two teams. I'll be very happy to see Xabi Alonso's team win the Europa League trophy this season after a very impressive performance but the truth is that the other teams will also put in their best with to also win the trophy

We can say with more certainty that Leverkusen will win the Bundesliga. Leverkusen played well in last night's match against Bremen, and they are the unbeaten champions so far this season, sitting at the top of the points table with 79 points. There is no other team that can compete with Leverkusen in the Bundesliga this season, with the likes of Bayern Munich also losing to them. While Bayan Munich has been the hottest in other seasons and won the championship in excitement but this season they are second in the points table with 63 points and they have now left the competition with Leverkusen. There is no other team in form to compete with Leverkusen this season so we can say for sure that the team in the best position this season is Leverkusen and they are attacking enough to win the title and we can guarantee that they will be champions.
Leverkusen has been on a tear this season. There's no denying it. They've straight-up dominated, that Bremen win was just the latest example. They've built a lead that even Bayern's gonna struggle to overcome. It's AMAZING to see a team break the mold in the Bundesliga, to see someone else up there for a change

But… can they keep it up? Do they have the gas in the tank to finish unbeaten? Look at their schedule, it ain't pretty. This is football, upsets happen. Plus, you gotta think about the Europa League semis taking their focus. They've got to juggle those priorities, and that could make or break them

I'm rooting for the upset, man. I want to see them pull it off. Imagine the story: Bundesliga champs AND Europa League winners? That'd be legendary

Bayern Leverkusen started the season in a very good note and even remained unbeaten till this very day but there's one thing that's been constant about their achievement this season and that's the part that many were questioning the sustainability of their impressive performance. At the start of the season, people were not fully convinced that the impressive start to the season of Bayer Leverkusen will get this point and I also read so many reports from different people who said that their run of good form isn't gonna last but to the surprise of many, they still managed to remain at the top and unbeaten till they were confirmed as the league winners.
Now, people are concerned if they will continue with this impressive performance next season. The club's biggest problem at the moment if you ask me is trying to keep most of the top performers in the team beyond the current season because I think many top European clubs will want to sign them from the club but if they can manage and keep most of the players at the club, I strongly believe that they'll be able to retain their impressive form

Barcelona worked hard on Mbappé in the first leg. That's the key; they must try again to win. Xavi can stop superstar forwards, as seen in Paris. Similar to what they did with Osimhen in the Napoli tie; focused defense, supply disruption, and assault collapse

I think Barcelona has a chance because they routinely use this method. A opportunity to advance and go deep in the tournament. Don't get ahead of yourself, PSG is dangerous. All that Champions League focus? They'll attack unexpectedly and desperately Barcelona's defense is essential. If they follow the first leg's plan, PSG might be in trouble
In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final game between Paris Saint Germaine and Barcelona, the Spanish champions were able to silence Kylian Mbappe from making any positive impact in the game and that was why I think they left Parc des Princes with a win last week but for a player that's fast and skillful like Kylian Mbappe, I think stoping him again at Camp Nou will be very difficult. Kylian Mbappe I think will watch the footages from the last game and would decide to change some of his movements so he can easily penetrate the Barcelona defense in the second leg of the game.
Barcelona knows that it'll be more difficult to win at Real Madrid next on Sunday than progressing to the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League competition so I expect them to put in their best against Paris Saint Germaine and hope for the best when they face Real Madrid this weekend

I think you're absolutely right with your opinion about Paris Saint Germaine's poor outing in the UEFA Champions League being caused by their dominance in the French league. The French league without doubt is the less most competitive among the top five leagues in Europe and for a team that's always dominating it, Paris Saint Germaine are always more relaxed when they play crucial games in the UEFA Champions League because to them, they think it'll be as easy as it used to be in their domestic league.
I think the presence of Kylian Mbappe in the team should've given them all the needed support they need to win the UEFA Champions League title this season but if they fail to at least reach the final with the France international, qualifying for the final when he's left the club I think will be very difficult for them.
PSG once built the best lineup to win the Champions League trophy, but they failed to realize this dream, financial strength cannot buy an instant mentality. PSG needs to build a foundation with a winning mentality, which is one of the main indicators for competing in the Champions League. It's no use having a star-studded squad if their egos can't be united to achieve one goal.

We can see that the Bundesliga is also not that competitive, they are slightly better than Ligue 1, but Bayern has won the Champions League trophy. Maybe that's a very relevant example that we can still convey, PSG needs to build a squad like Bayern method. Financial strength makes things easier, but sometimes this backfires.

The news of Mbappe leaving is still widely rumored, PSG management does not need to force him to stay longer, because the player is no longer interested in defending PSG. Why keep wooing him to stay, it's better for PSG to focus on finding new players next season, who knows, Mbappe departure will make it easier for PSG to win the Champions League trophy.
The owners of Paris Saint Germaine over the years have spent hugely to make sure they extend their dominance in France to the whole of Europe but unfortunately for them, things have not worked the way they wanted it to work out and that has drawn so much criticism from people who thinks that money can not but them success. The club have signed some of the world best players but including Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe but are yet to lift the UEFA Champions League in their history. In my own assessment of the whole issue, I think the main problem why they've failed to achieve that aim is because they've not been able to get a manager who truly understands the team and the best tactical approach that'll bring out the best from them.
Manchester City before 2008 was one of the average teams in England but after their current owner invested hugely in the club, they started to win domestic titles but weren't able to reach the semi finals of the UCL until they signed Pep Guardiola who transformed the club's success history and even led them to their first UCL trophy. I think Paris Saint Germaine should try and get a manager that'll speak the best understandable football language to the club players and see the amount of success they'll record.
