Nasser Al-Khelaifi is the president and have been incharge for a longer time than expected, he's doing good and nailing projects for the club. Paris Saint-Germain becomes elite when no other oppositions is able to nailed them. They've been having crucial moments settling their winnings, its important for them to continue dominating France Ligue One because any season they failed to win, that's more illustrative to giving other elite and mediocre clubs hopes to challenge for the title. Winning is evidence of an elite team doing incredible better and magnificent in performance.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi have been a great president for Paris Saint Germaine since the Qatar Sports Investments(QSI) took over the ownership of the club and have helped to facilitate sone of the world's biggest transfers to Paris Saint Germaine, in fact the money the club spent the most amount of money in a single player to sign Neymar from Barcelona in 2017 but what the club's president haven't actually been able to achieve with the club is to help them win the UEFA Champions League competition.
Paris Saint Germaine have won the French league for the last seven years in a row and looks set to even win it again at the end of the season but the club needs to win something bigger than the league title and which is winning the UEFA Champions League trophy

It's going to be a big celebration for Arsenal to win Manchester City but it's likely not, maybe it would have happen if it were in Emirate because of th home advantage but it's the same advantage that Arsenal are going to have in their home that Manchester City are going to use to win them in that match. I know football can happen but I'm just confidence in Manchester City to secure this point especially now that Liverpool has given them opportunity to after losing their second goal of the season.

I also think Manchester City will make the most of their home advantage, but we all know how they play. As long as Arsenal don't concede a goal, Manchester City can have as much possession as they want. It wouldn't be a surprise if Arsenal score a late goal and win the game. There will be a tactical battle between the managers. Pep and Arteta better see this game as life and death, because it really is. Whoever wins this game will have a very important advantage for the title. I think both sides will play with a lot of control but won't want to settle for a draw either.
Manchester City will host English Premier League leaders Arsenal on Easter Sunday for their very vital game and because the game will be played at the Etihad stadium, I'm of the opinion that Manchester City will win that particular game. Arsenal have been very outstanding this season and are currently leading the league table with a better goal difference ahead of Liverpool who happens to have the same number of points with Arsenal and a win for Mikel Arteta's men on next Sunday will simply put them ahead of Manchester City with four points.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is keen on helping the club repeat their feat last season by winning the treble this season but that I think will be a very difficult task for them but because their still very much in contention to do it, I think they'll continue to believe in themselves as a team.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 22, 2024, 11:18:17 PM
The match between Manchester city and Real Madrid is really an unpredictable game to me ,both teams are in their current forms, and when considering the strength of the team, the quality of players in there and the category of managers involved in the team too, they are both experienced coaches when it comes to the Champions league competition ,Therefore, to me, this game is a matter of who utilizes their opportunity well will become victors in that game.
The match is indeed and unpredictable match, any team can win at any point. If you wanted to use the quality of the squad to make conclusions, you will realize that they both have similar qualities likewise the two coaches too. Real Madrid can only be ahead of Manchester City because of Real Madrid has won more Champions League than Man City and with the nature experience players they both have, that alone cannot count Man City out.
In fact, all the quarterfinal matches will unpredictable and will contain good offset.
I'm a Real Madrid and strongly believes that Real Madrid will eliminate Manchester City from the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League competition but that doesn't mean that I'm not aware that Manchester City is capable of beating any side in Europe so I don't doubt it when people say it'll be a very difficult tie. Last season in the semi finals of the competition, Manchester City eliminated Real Madrid from the competition but one thing that's happened this season is that Real Madrid have significantly improved from the side that suffered the humiliating elimination from Manchester City last.
Real Madrid will always be my favorites to win the tie and that's because I so much believe in this current Real Madrid squad but that doesn't mean that City can't pull a surprise. As a Real Madrid fan, I'm seriously anticipating for the two-legged tie and I would be very happy if Real Madrid can retaliate for what happened last season by eliminating Manchester City
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 22, 2024, 11:10:35 PM
Barcelona has fallen so bad

Barcelona will fall even more because the fans seem to believe that only them are entitled to good performance. How many coaches can perform the magic Xavi did with that poor squad ?

Young players, injury laden squad and little to 0 squad depth, yet the fans have ousted the coach with so many pressures on and off the pitch.

Success is not built in a year, if Barcelona don’t retrace their steps; they are going to be on the Manchester United Dilemma in couple of years to come
Barcelona without doubt isn't performing at the top of their potentials and for a team that is considered as one of the best teams in Europe in the last two decades, Barcelona is currently not where they're supposed to be and that's why a lot of people are of the opinion that Barcelona is currently down.
The club's manager Xavi Hernandez isn't getting the kind of praises he deserves at the club because despite the numerous injuries to some of the key players of the club, Xavi Hernandez have made sure the club is still competing for major honors. They're currently in the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League competition also second on the Spanish La Liga table but I don't think they stand a good chance to win either of the two trophies.
The club's manager Xavi Hernandez have announced that he's going to leave Barcelona at the end of the season even if they wins the UEFA Champions League title this season and that I think will be big blow to the club's quest to improve from their inconsistency
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 22, 2024, 11:00:47 PM
Roma is currently in good condition with high self-confidence after a series of positive results they have obtained and in terms of performance the Roma team is increasingly improving after the arrival of De Rossi as Roma coach replacing Jose Mourinho. Roma's chances of finishing in the top 4 are still very high. wide open, Roma is only 3 points behind Bologna in 4th place and 8 points from Juventus who are in 3rd place, with Roma's consistent performance until the end of the season, I think their chances are still very big.

Roma’s good form cannot be overemphasised as they’ve become one of the best team in Serie A since they had a new manager that took over the affairs of the club after Jose Mourinho’s departure. This has helped them in the Serie A to maintain a good position in the standings and also stand a chance to finish in the top four of the league this season. Their good form has also gave them an opportunity to still remain in the Europa League and standing there as a strong contender for the Europa League title this season. Let’s see what De Rossi can accomplish in the club this first season. Finishing in the top four position of the Serie A or winning the Europa League trophy this season will be a big accomplishment for the club and the coach.
When the management of AS Roma sacked Jose Mourinho, I was of the opinion that it was too early for the club management to sack a manager who helped the club reach the final of the UEFA Europa League competition last season but little did I know that the club management actually have a different idea from what I think and from every indication, their own idea have actually paid off because since the club signed their new manager Daniele De Rossi, the club's performance have actually improved significantly.
Daniele De Rossi who happens to be the new manager of Roma is managing the senior team of a club for the first in his managerial career but considering his achievement so far with the club, one will think that he's been in the business for longer than less than six months.
Roma is currently doing well and if they can continue with their current form and performances, they might likely end the season season in the top four of the Italian Serie A table
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: March 22, 2024, 10:48:00 PM
Even the fact that Belgium is above Brazil is silly, of course Brazil is a better team but they had a bad period and that's why I think it's quite important to remember that we are not going to see them do this badly all that commonly, it will be just fine for them in the end. I just think that the best thing to do with what we have right now is to just focus on what we can make.

I believe that betting on Brazil is still a great way to go, and that means we are going to probably see them do fine, it should not be all that hard. I think betting on them to win the whole world cup could be far fetched, but expecting them to do fine in other games could be better, they are still Brazil and they will beat other teams, aside from maybe Argentina.

Well, I have seen that Brazil has not been playing very well in the last few games, they have been losing against teams that I did not believe could win, in fact, they have the best players they have in Europe, they have young promises, and it is presumed that there are one who is told that he is Pelé's successor, but the truth is I don't see him with those eyes, I don't see him doing things as such to deserve that, however now the Brazilian team is in crisis, I think it's also because he has many of his players who have not had much action, among them Neymar, because in the last game that was with Colombia they lost, sometimes this is something that does not look very good.

In fact, it is presumed, it is not certain that Pep Guardiola can lead this team on the way to the World Cup, he is between San Marino and a couple of other teams that are interested in Pee's services, honestly this would change the face of the Brazilian team.

Brazil without doubt haven't been as consistent as they're supposed to be considering the quality players the national team and that's why they're below Belgium in FIFA rankings. The reason behind Brazil's poor results is simply because of the inexperience of the coach of the team and not because they don't have the needed quality of players to be ranked as the best team in world football.
Tomorrow evening, they play against the Three Lions of England at the famous Wembley stadium and because the English team will be playing at home, many are of the opinion that Brazil will be beaten tomorrow. I don't have full confidence when it comes to the Brazilian team of how bad their manager have been and I think the best thing the country's football authorities try and get another manager that can handle the Brazil national team perfectly.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 22, 2024, 10:40:57 PM
Losing money is no fun.  While gambling can be entertaining, the term "fun" shouldn't mask the inherent risk of financial loss.  Imagine the emotional turmoil of watching your money dwindle instead of enjoying the game.

The cycle of chasing losses is a fascinating point.  The hope of "winning back" what you've lost fuels further gambling, often leading to even greater financial depletion.  This highlights the psychological aspect of gambling and why it can be addictive for some.

The distinction between knowing when to stop and actually doing it is crucial.  Understanding your limits and sticking to them is essential for responsible gambling. The danger of using borrowed money to gamble is a valid concern.  Gambling should only be done with money you can comfortably afford to lose.  The potential for financial ruin makes using borrowed funds a recipe for disaster.
You're absolutely correct with your opinion and I can't just agree less mate.  Whenever I hear a lot of gamblers claim that they don't feel sad whenever they lose their money, I simply don't take them serious because we all know that 75% of the reason why people gamble is to make money out of it and no one will be happy seeing his money varnish in to thin air because of their losses in gambling.
There's nobody that'll be happy with losing their money and that's why I don't think there's any fun of whatsoever in losing your money to gambling. Gamblers only enjoy the game of gambling when they're winning money instead of losing money. I've lost my money in gambling on several occasions and there was never a time I felt any kind of fun in it

Finidi George is a great player, and I believe that he will be able to coach his team with the experience that he has gained throughout his career in football.
He has his first chance today to show that he can handle the job, Nigeria play Ghana in a friendly game, and although it is a friendly game, it will not be a good start for Finidi George if the super eagles loose this first game with him as manager.

Nigeria and Ghana have this rivalry between them, the players will take the game seriously.

I like that the new coach was once a player for the National team, his level of patriotism will be high.
The friendly match between Nigeria and Ghana ended in 2-1 in favor of Super Eagles. It was just a beautiful start that Finidi George had his ways of coaching the Super Eagles to be victorious in their first friendly match since the resignation of Jose Peseiro as head coach and Finidi George taking over as assistant coach to lead Super Eagles against Ghana and Mali in friendly matches.

One more match(Mali) to go to test Finidi George's proficiency as an assistant coach, as he has won a match for Super Eagles against Ghana, remaining Mali.
I watched the friendly game between the black stars of Ghana vs the Super Eagles of Nigeria earlier today and from the performance of the Nigeria team, I think they're still improving and the tactical approaches of the interim Coach of the Super Eagles suggests that he actually knows what he's doing with the team and I think it'll not be a bad idea for the NFF to permanent his contract with with Super Eagles even when it seems I know they still have to watch him for little while before making their final decision concerning Finidi George.
Whenever Ghana is playing against their West African neighbors Nigeria, it's always an action packed game even when it just a friendly game just of the bragging rights the fans of both countries. Nigeria were simply the better team but I think Ghana would've done better in the second half of their player wasn't sent off

Yeah, I have actually won a bet using my last cash back then in those days I was given betting much of my time, yeah, the feeling is so different from the other normal winning, and always looks like all the lost hope has come back to you when least expected, it comes with so much excitement like is the first time. It boost confidence and a certain level of fulfilment.
Alright, but would you had felt same way with so much of excitement if you had lost that last cash of yours using it to bet? Of course the answer would be a No. Maybe we should try losing at times with some gambling decisions we  make without recourse so that the consequence could ring a bell in our head that it wasn't worth it. It al starts with little things we regard as nothing for gambling to bigger things and that's when the addiction tension has grown big within us and that's how we see people ready to stake their house, cars and even land in gambling, it all starting from little things.
Talking about betting or winning with one's last cash, I think it depends on the situation. I've been able to win gambling before with my last cash but before the win, I've alr
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: March 22, 2024, 10:05:11 PM
Whatever I will be suggesting to your friend for sure he won't listen. He didn't even listened to you when you've explained that he's addicted.

That's how it is going to be with those gamblers that are seriously addicted already. No suggestion will be good to them because what they are listening with is only themselves.

They can't admit that they're heavy gamblers and they're losing a lot and have been doing crazy things just to gamble.

No way, do you expect an addict to quit fronting on his addictive behavior, he'll definitely lie and bottle it up. The healing work is on others to help the addict, as he, indeed needs it. Don't mind his strange action, it looks like he doesn't want to help hands. Neglecting them won't be the right choice, working on ways to help change the addict is better than watching him misbehave. While they listen to themselves alone, sooner they'll want to talk to somebody. Deep down, they'll try to save themselves from the attitude, since they personally got into addiction, their self-consciousness will make them believe it's possible to come out with nobody's help. I think that's the main purpose behind why they avoid helpers.

Due to their psychology being affected, they wouldn't make it out alone. That's why sometimes a gambler will decide to open up and reach out for help. Which remains the best time to help an addict. When he's in need of it because he wants it and is tired of the lifestyle. In your context is fine to give them a space. But, to some extent, it's risky, as their attitude can get worse when left unattended. Staying in touch with the gambler helps revive his brain towards changing. Addiction isn't interesting for anyone, seeing his acquittances talk to him, will make him think of being like his unaddicted friends. Sooner, he'd confide with them and seek for help. When neglected he may not try talking to anyone. Thereby stressing his brain, on saving himself.
Getting out of gambling addiction is not as easy as many people think of it and that's why a lot of people who are suffering the effects of gambling addiction ate not even showing any sign of quitting from it despite advise from many people. I was addicted to gambling before but was able to break free from gambling addiction and because I was a victim of gambling addict, I learnt so many things about gambling addiction and that's why I don't find it a difficult task to tell people that are still addicted on the best possible ways to break free from it.
For a gambler to be free from gambling, he must first of all admit that he's addicted to gambling and needs to stop his addiction. When a gambler is addicted to gambling, there's no amount of action that can be taken by people around him that'll make him stop his addiction if he hasn't made up his mind to stop the addiction. It's only when an addicted gambler is ready to stop his gambling addiction that he can then be talked out of it by people around him
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: brazil sanctioned law that taxes online betting in the country on: March 22, 2024, 09:55:19 PM
Can gambling taxes be a source of revenue for development, or are they simply another tool for corrupt officials to enrich themselves? Imagine a scenario where a significant portion of this tax revenue gets diverted away from public services and into the pockets of a few.  Such a scenario would undermine the very purpose of taxation.

The concern about corruption in developing countries plagued by embezzlement is well-founded.  Without strong institutions and transparent governance, tax revenue can become a target for exploitation. However, dismissing taxation entirely throws away a potential source of income for public services.  This revenue could be used to improve education, healthcare, and infrastructure, benefiting everyone.
Tax from when it came to existence have always been the government's source of income and will always be. Diversion of of public funds by government officials is one thing that's majorly affected the development of many countries but with my knowledge of how transparent the Brazilian government have been over the years and the ability of the country's security agencies to prosecute public office holders who decided to embezzle public funds, I don't think the primary reason of this particular policy concerning gambling companies and payment of taxes has anything to do with the personal interest of government officials in the country.
Corruption is without doubt one of the problems of Brazil as a country but the recent technology advancement in the country have made it very difficult for the country's politicians to embezzle money without being caught. I think it's absolutely a good thing to place tax on the gambling companies because they've been gaining from the public and should be mandated to pay taxes
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 21, 2024, 10:59:07 PM
This depends on what Xabi Alonso's decision will be, whether he will leave Leverkusen or whether he will prefer to stay. At the moment there are still many who say that Xabi has had great luck this season with Leverkusen, so if he wants to prove that wrong then he would prefer to stay in my opinion, but if he is going to use this opportunity to manage a bigger team in the league who is more competitive, then it is likely that he will leave Leverkusen.

Currently I don't see any signs that Xabi will stay or leave, because it seems he prefers to first focus on Leverkusen to become champions in the Bundesliga, even in the Europa League. He likely realizes that he must complete the tasks he has now before he decides what he will choose for his future. Stay or leave, I'm sure Xabi will consider this as best as possible, because this also concerns his career as a coach, he will consider it carefully before finally making a decision.
One thing that is certain is that Xabi Alonso will leave Leverkusen sooner or later, it is difficult to refuse an offer from a club as big as Bayern Munich or Liverpool. However, for now, Xabi Alonso target at Laverkusen has not been achieved, namely winning the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Europa League trophies, so it makes sense why until now we have not heard any official news about his future. When the season ends and the transfer window opens, everything will look real, however, not a few people hope that Xabi Alonso will stay at Leverkusen until his contract ends.

Apart from that, I assume that Xabi Alonso future decisions really depend on how Leverkusen management sets the vision and mission for next season. One of the most influential is retaining their players and recruiting new players to compete in higher competition, namely the Champions League. If the club officials cannot grant this, in my opinion Xabi Alonso has the potential to leave Leverkusen. Before all that happens, we will of course first enjoy how many trophies Leverkusen can win this season.
I don't think Xabi Alonso's proposed departure from Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season is certain as the young Spanish manager is yet to publicly notify everyone about his next move. There's been reports that about three top European teams are trying to get his services on permanent basis but until the Spanish manager makes a public announcement of any proposed move, I don't think it'll be good to say that he'll leave the club at the end of the season. Currently, Xabi Alonso is focused in making sure Bayer Leverkusen ends Bayern Munich's dominance in the German Bundesliga by winning the league title with his players and I think it'll be after the end of the season will be decide to make any serious statement about his future.

It was quite surprising that in the end, Man United was the one who won that match. As we have seen together, Man United has a defense line that is really in a worrying condition. I think if they didn't have that luck, then Liverpool have already got another goal. However, the situation completely changed when Man United got their second goal. The hope of winning grows again and that really motivates them, and some of them even tried to ignore the pain and fatigue they were facing. If you look at all that struggle, I think Man United really deserved to win.
Some Manchester United fans will say that, don't predict the result while the match is in progress but look at the result after the match ends. I think they have a point, especially because throughout this season Manchester United have managed to come back in the last minutes and they won the game in the end.

Regarding the match against Liverpool, I also said it was a great match for them. Manchester United played better at the end of the match and they really broke down Liverpool's mentality, who were also hoping to qualify for the semifinals. It was truly a performance we have rarely seen from Manchester United in a long time, so it was a performance that will be remembered by all fans. Jurgen Klopp and his players will certainly regret the result, but there is something more important to fight for and that is the Premier League and Europa League titles.
The truth of the matter is that I never expected Manchester United to eliminate Liverpool from the English FA Cup competition and I'm sure I'm not the only one had expected a Liverpool win in that match but football isn't played in the back pages of newspapers. Liverpool without doubt was the better team during the normal time of the game and had they converted most of their clear chances they missed, Liverpool would've won that game without playing in extra time but unfortunately for them, they failed to be as prolific as they should be and that's why the game reached the extra time which Manchester United still came from behind to win.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been receiving a lot of praises because of the result of the game and how he was able to make the tactical changes that helped his team win that game and if you ask me , I think he deserves every applaud he's getting.
Manchester United will face Coventry in the semi finals of the English FA Cup and despite the fact that Coventry have been very outstanding this season in the English FA Cup, I expect Manchester United to eliminate them akd reach final of the competition.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 18, 2024, 05:48:11 PM
I can't believe how amazing La Masia actually is. I mean they had Pedri and Gavi before this so it was actually not a bad young squad, they had a few more and things looked to be great for them. But now? Now things are going pretty crazy actually. They have now Yamal as we all know and he is quite famous at this moment, but they have Balde as well who has been pretty decent but got injured unfortunately, Fermin Lopez seems to be doing alright as well and could be considered a future star if he is used a lot, and don't get me even started on Cubarsi, that kid played only a few games and the passes he is making from defense is elite level already.

I am so afraid that when Xavi leaves (and I think he shouldn't) then these kids may not get the attention they deserve. That's what happened to Barcelona last time, after Pep left, they didn't use La Masia much, and just bought players around Messi. This is why they are in debt, they should not do that, they should use these kids.
Xavi Hernandez is a product of Barcelona's academy that popularly known as "La Masia" and that's why he's been able utilize the players from the youth team of the club and help them improve significantly. Many football greats came from the La Masia and I also expect many more youngsters to emerge from there. But unfortunately for Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez will leave the club at the end of the season and I don't know if they'll be able to get another manager that'll be as efficient as Xavi Hernandez in grooming the young players.
The performance of Barcelona yesterday at Atletico Madrid is a testament that the team's young stars are surely going to be football greats if they can continue with their current performance.  Xavi Hernandez have said that he's going to leave the club at the end of the season and even when further to say that even if the club wins the UEFA Champions League competition this season, he's still going to leave the club at the end of the season so I don't think he's ever gonna change his mind concerning that decision

Once again we will focus on the match between Real Madrid vs Manchester City, we consider this match to be the final match which took place in the quarter-finals, yes this is a too early final. Previously, we were very excited to wait for them to face each other in the final match, but that can't happen again, because again and again they have to face each other in the quarter-finals, this is the same as last season.
Real Madrid is doing well in this season to get to where they are today because they performed well to beat many teams to be a good position to face Manchester city and, if care is not taking they will make Manchester city not to score a single goal from this game because they know how to eliminate Manchester city in the UEFA champions quarter final which they can still make it happen in this season.

Quote
I will not doubt that this match will be very interesting, the competitive atmosphere will be hot because one team is the team that has won the most titles, while the other team is the team that has the status of defending champion. If you look at the odds given by the bookie, Manchester City appears as the favorite to advance to the next round, but you also need to remember that the team they will face is a team that has a very strong mentality, and they already felt that when they had to make a comeback. by Real Madrid in the previous 2 seasons.
It will be a tough game in this quarter final but Real Madrid will not give up easily to Manchester city despite they are strong team in this UEFA champions league, but their coach has prepared them on how to play the game to ensure they lead the game till the end.

However, if they play in the final then it feels like normal moment because yes, it is normal moment for example if Real Madrid and Manchester City meet in the final. But yes, right now, what is really interesting is because they playing in the quarterfinals and of course, their meeting in the quarterfinals was very unexpected but they had to do it anyway. So, there will be one less title candidate team at this season because yes, Real Madrid or Manchester City this season can only reach the quarter-finals, of course Real Madrid and Manchester City will do their best effort because they both have the above qualities average, making it difficult to predict which of them will advance to the semifinals.
I'm a Real Madrid fan and that's why I'm happy to see that we were drawn against Manchester City in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League competition and I'll state my reason. Last two seasons, Real Madrid eliminated Manchester City in the semi finals of the competition and it was done in the most exciting fashion as Real Madrid came from two goals down at the Santiago Bernabeu to complete a comeback that saw them reach the final ahead of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. Then last season, Manchester City revenged that elimination of last two seasons to oust Real Madrid from the competition and they embarrassed Real Madrid in the second leg of that game. The result of that game actually left a deep pain in me and many other Real Madrid fans across the globe. I think this is the right time to pay them back with their coins because right now, Real Madrid is a way better than they were last season. During the summer transfer window, Real Madrid management signed few important and quality footballers to the team and their presence have significantly improved the team so I believe that they can match Manchester City in any way and I believe they will eliminate Manchester City this time

If the employee is not in charge of finances then I can leave him since gambling is a private thing and also it will becomes a problems if he gamble at work I will fire him, but if he only gamble at his free time, he can be free to gamble but I will make sure that I put him far from the company finances since I already know how gambling addicts behave with money.

But also I will not blame anyone for taking the action to fire a worker who seems to be uncontrolly addicted to gambling if it against their working ethics.

Few minutes ago in one of my response to particular post, I said that I'm going to sack my worker who is addicted to gambling and just few minutes later, I'm seeing this topic now. There's a difference between an employee and the best employee and that's why I expect this topic to be difficult for a lot of people to give their opinions. When someone is employed, he automatically becomes an employee but to be considered as the best employee, the said person must work better than his/her other colleagues and that's why it'll be a very difficult decision for many employers to sack such person even after discovering that their best employee is a gambling addict.
Gambling addiction is actually one of the worst things that can happen to any individual and if for any reason I find out that my best employee is addicted to gambling, I'll first try make him see reasons why he must work on himself and get over his gambling addiction and if he decides to end his addiction, I'll provided him with every necessary support he'll need to break through from his addiction but if I find out that he's not ready to end his gambling addiction, I'll simply sack him because to me, I see hik as a threat to my establishment

Previously, Juventus was not just about being in second place but yes, previously Juventus was a tight competitor with Inter in the race for first place. But unfortunately, Juventus performance in the second half of this season has decreased and is difficult to improveagain. With results like that, of course, it is difficult for Juventus to win in every match they play. But even so, at least Juventus target for the remainder of this season is only to maintain its position in the top four because clearly, it would be very bad if Juventus dropped out of the top four, because this season is a good season and good moment for Juventus to be able to finish in the top four.
There is no other possibility than to finish in the top 4 for Juventus this season and that is quite realistic considering what they are currently experiencing.
The significant decline in performance that occurred in the second half of this season was a bit surprising, initially when they were unable to compete with Inter Milan and were increasingly behind in points from Inter Milan who were at the top of the standings, it made Juventus seem to have lost motivation to win the match, but if this continues So it will be very confusing for them now because Roma and Bologna are quite consistent so it could be dangerous for Juventus to finish in the top 4.
Juventus started the season on a very good note and was even considered as a major contender for the Italian Serie A title this season but unfortunately for them and the fans of the club, they've failed to continue with their impressive performance which have now made it almost impossible for them to catch up with league leaders Inter Milan. Juventus did not participate in any European competition this season because they didn't finish last season in a position that'll guarantee them European football and I expected them to make up for their shortcomings of last season by delivering consistent performances that'll see them win the league title but little did I know that they'll later begin to perform poorly after starting the season on a very good note.
Considering their current form and points difference behind league leaders Inter Milan, I don't think there's a possibility of seeing them win the league title this season so I'm sure they'll definitely want to fight to finish the season in the top four of the Italian Serie A table and I think they're surely going to achieve that at the end of the season. They can still fight for the Italian scudetto next season but surely not this season if you ask me because the league winner is almost decided

This is an advice based on my experience, don’t ever insert gambling on your schedule if you really don’t have free time for it because it will always result to disaster in both gambling and your life.

Gambling should be done during free times as it's a leisure activity that we do for fun and entrainment. If we take gambling to be a serious activity that we do for money we have gotten it wrong and that can lead to many problems as constantly losing of money and being addicted to gambling. As a gambler you should find time that you can use for gambling and not to mix it up with other activities that you're doing in life as your work or quality family time.

I always prefer gambling during the weekend as that's when I'll have time to gamble without being concerned of I'm using the time I was supposed to use for something else for gambling. Weekends are the days of the week that I'm free from office work and mostly have fun with my friends through watching of sport games and also gambling with playing other non gambling games to keep ourselves occupied.
From most of the posts I read here, it means that a lot of people actually gamble when they were supposed to be busy with their works and I think that's a very crazy thing to do by anyone who actually means well for himself. Gambling should be done when someone is actually free from every important engagement especially work but a lot of people leave their works just to gamble and if you ask me, I think that practice is found among gambling addicts.
If as an employer I find out that my employee is gambling at a time he's supposed to be busy with work, I'll simply relieve him of his duties as a worker and employ another person because to me, I already think that he's not serious with his work and wouldn't be serious anytime soon. It's absolutely condemnable for any gambler to gamble when he should be doing something more meaningful and I advise that gamblers in the forum not to engage in such activity. Gambling to should be done during our leisure times and should also not be our source of income rather should be something we do for fun

I also don't think anyone will underestimate West Ham. I would like to remind that they were the winner of the Conference League title in the previous season.  Wink

They take these tournaments really seriously. After especially seeing how Leverkusen struggled against Qarabag the last time this matchup seems likely to be quite competitive as well. Xabi Alonso has an incredible record this season. They are still unbeaten.  Grin  I'm really curious about whether West Ham will be able to put an end to this huge record if Leverkusen don't lose until then. West Ham have much more capable players than Qarabag so technically they are more likely on paper.

When it comes to my opinion on which one to advance I would still favour Leverkusen because of their much more convincing look.  Smiley
Considering how well West Ham have performed in the UEFA Europa League competition since the start of the season, I think it'll be a very bad idea for any team in the the competition to underestimate their strength. West Ham and s an English Premier League club who has what it takes to face any of the remaining eight teams in the competition and I expect them to give their all when facing any team.
They'll face German Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter finals of the UEFA Europa League competition and because of the superior performance of Leverkusen this season when compared to West Ham, many are of the opinion that it'll be an easy tie for the German team but I don't think it'll be as easy as many thinks. West Ham isn't in strong competition to win any other trophy this season apart from the UEFA Europa League trophy and for a team that won the UEFA Conference League last season and knew how good it is to win a major trophy, I expect them to give their all against Bayer Leverkusen. If I'm to stake on the game, I'l bet on a Bayer Leverkusen win but I don't expect it to be an easy one for them

Aston Villa small team in english football? Man they always were one of the medium teams, maybe you are talking that because of the new Premier League era, but they are not a small team, a small team is Burnley, Luton or other but not Aston Villa. Anyways yes under Unay Emeri they make a big improvement.
Let you look back at my post, I said if Aston Villa was a mediocre team when it was not coached by Unai Emery, even before Unai Emery coached Aston Villa in 2022, isn't Aston Villa just a team that ended the season at rank 17?

And at that time even they were only able to pick up 9 points from 11 games and were even lucky enough for them to stay in the premier because only a few more strips they would fall in the championship league at that time.

That's why I say if Unai Emey has brought wonders to the Aston Villa squad and even before Unai Emery came have you seen if Aston Villa at least entered the top 4 so far?
Yes, the changes that have occurred in Aston Villa cannot be separated from the modern football era, but it is not that easy for us to say they are a big team just because they are able to compete in the Conference League today, and if you say Aston Villa is a big team because they are in the third tier of European competition, then how can you call Westham who are now playing in the second tier of European competition?
I personally wouldn't underestimate Aston Villa because of Unay Emery's experience and even they are my favourites to win the Conference League this season guys.
Talking about Aston Villa and their manager Unai Emery, let's not forget that the Spanish manager is well experienced when ot comes to European competitions. Unai Emery is the most successful manager in the history of the UEFA Europa League competition as he won the competition in four different occasions. He first won three in a row with Sevilla from 2013/14 season to 2015/16 seasons before winning it again with Villarreal in 2020/21 season. Since the start of the current season he's significantly improved the performance of Aston Villa not just in the UEFA Conference League competition but also in the English Premier League. His Aston Villa side is currently sitting in the fourth position of the English Premier League table ahead of big teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and even Manchester United.
The improved performance of Aston Villa this season under Unai Emery is the reason why many are rooting for them to win the UEFA Conference League trophy at the end of the season. Without doubt, it'll be a very difficult task for Aston Villa but because they have a manager who's very good when it comes to European competitions, I think they stand a good chance of winning the trophy ahead of the other teams
